The Elizavecca Milky Piggy Hell-Pore Clean Up AHA Fruit Toner claims to be a gentle leave-on exfoliant. It contains both aha and bha to clean pores and smooth the texture of your skin. The toner has an acidic fruity smell, almost like an extra sour lemon juice but not quite as strong. It's clear in color, and watery. I was shocked during my first application, as I found the toner to sting badly and it took a couple minutes for the burning to subside. I am unsure if it's the aha or the alcohol (or a combination of the two in this toner) that causes the discomfort, but my skin seemed to become accustomed to it the more I used it. I honestly don't feel like this worked well as a stand-alone acid product, but it has super cute packaging and it seemed to help my regular actives work more effectively. I'm not, however, a fan of the alcohol content in this toner as it dried out my skin.

First off, this toner is seriously cute! I am a sucker for packaging, and this toner delivers there. . So, to talk a bit about AHA/BHA. These acids help to exfoliate without big scraping bits moving dirt around. Before I received this product, my combo/oily skin was responding pretty well to another product, Sunday Riley UFO Oil, which uses Salycic Acid in conjunction with nourishing oils to clean out the pores without overdrying. So, when Hellpore came into my life, I knew that UFO would need to take a break. . When you strip from your face like AHA and BHA do, the last thing you need to do is compound that stripping. Water and oil may not mix in a glass, but they are vital to skin health. Oil provides moisture, while water provides hydration, and the organ that is our skin needs both. AHA/BHA exfoliate the dead top layer of skin off, and leave fresh baby skin underneath, which needs balanced and hydrated so that oil production isn't triggered into overdrive, causing, in my case, more breakouts. . When I paired Hellpore with a water-based cream, my normally-oily skin with large breakouts began to stay matte throughout the day, and breakouts shrank to nothing. Routine-step-wise, I used this after cleansing, but before moisture. I would absolutely recommend this, but know that if you have sensitive skin or broken skin, this orange- scented toner WILL find those places like lemon juice to a paper cut. Fortunately, the sting subsides quickly, and a light tingle takes over. You can really feel Hellpore pushing through the dirt and bringing in a new wave of flawlessness.

My once white cotton ball had telltale signs that this Elizavecca toner removed impurities even after I used a cleanser. It has a nice grapefruit scent at first, but it became unpleasant as it dried. This leave-on toner also felt sticky before it completely absorbed into my skin. Since it also consists of alcohol, it may cause dryness and/or stinging. While this AHA Fruit Toner exfoliated dead skin, I will unfortunately have to pass on this toner as I am sensitive to fragrances.

First, most obviously the packaging itself is so super cute and attractive so I was really excited to try this and have wanted to try this brand for a while. This toner is a generous sized bottle and I liked that it is a natural fruit & veggie based aha formula. The full name of the product itself is 'Elizavecca Milky Piggy Hell-Pore Clean Up #AHA Fruit Toner which explains the cute piggy characters on the packaging and the light, crisp fresh fruity scent! I admittedly have not used an aha based product since the oily faced days of my teens but I went in with a cotton ball after my washing regimen and it was refreshing and light to use as a toner should be. I lotioned and went to bed only to wake up the next day with my now sensitive/aging skin totally red all over the application areas on my face. The aha definetly worked and a bit too well for my skin personally, but I can see how this would be an excellent exfoliating toner for those with oily or acne prone skin. I used my go to moisturizer and my face was not uncomfortable feeling, it was just a short amount of time that my face was red, but it for sure worked in the way of a skin peel! (which I dont really do, although I love a good exfoliator!) Overall I gave the product 4 stars because it was a little too strong and had to use extra moisturizer to compensate for it on my skin. Overall though, I find the brand to be High Quality, even the outer packaging that my order was shipped within was super cute! I would be interested in trying other products by this brand because I do like their #naturalbeauty formulas. I felt my face much cleaner after applying it and after some applications I also noticed the thinning of the pores and thin lines, besides finding that my face is clearer as well. Do not recess the skin! The smell is kind of sweet, but it does not bother me! I loved the opportunity to test this product! Thank you 08L!

I really enjoyed using the Elizavecca Hell-Pore Toner. It did have a huge impact on the clarity of my skin. The smell takes a little getting use to though. I did notice that on certain parts of my face it did sting quite badly. It also turned my face very red in certain places. So, the smell of this is...interesting. It's fruity, but there's a sour note to it that I can't quite put my finger on what it is. It's AHA based, so I haven't seen HUGE results yet, but my skin does feel a little smoother, and, thankfully, it doesn't sting. Also, for bonus note, my mother-in-law had a fit over the little piggy packaging.

I recieved the Elizavecca Hell-pore Toner for free to give my honest opinion! First thing I noticed was the adorable packaging with the cute piggy! The toner itself smells like grapefruit, and the scent isn't too overwhelming. The bottle has a small pour spout and it doesn't dispense too much product. After using this toner morning & night for a week, I have noticed some blemishes have cleared, and my face is glowing & hydrated. I love this product!

ELIZAVECCA HELL-PORE CLEAN UP AHA FRUIT TONER | Initial Impressions . The @elizavecca_ Fruit toner is meant to be a multi-purpose toner that can tone the skin, purify and exfoliate the skin. The most striking thing about this toner is its scent. The toner smells like a bitter citrus, reminiscent of grapefruits. If you are sensitive to scents, please be warned that the scent is pretty strong and can linger on the skin. However, if you like this type of smell, you would probably like the way this toner smells. . This is a clear watery liquid that absorbs quickly into the skin. With exfoliating toners like this AHA Fruit Toner, after cleansing, I like to put the toner on a cotton and swipe it across my face and wipe off any dirt or dead skin cells. I would suggest to start off using every other day to see how your skin can tolerate the AHA. My skin instantly felt cooled and refreshed as soon as the product touches my skin. . I have only been using it for about a week and a half and have not seen much results. I really liked the Elizavecca Hell-Pore Clean Up Toner. It really left my skin feeling soft and smooth. I could feel my pores tightening up right away. I would say that this product is probably for someone younger than me. At 51, with dry and sensitive skin, I have to use heavy moisturizers and soothing toners. It a lso had a very strong fruit-ish smell to it, which was not objectionable. The toner did not burn my skin as many do. Smells amazing, like a combination of citrus fruits. Do not use around your eyes because it will burn. I could definitely feel it deep cleaning into my pores. Shortly after applying it to my face, I could feel a tingly almost bubbly feeling and afterwards my skin was left feeling very smooth and not dried out.

Left areas that I have during the summer months that tend to be a bit more oily, ie; my Tzone area in great condition! Love this to toner! First off it smells amazing....it's like a yummy citrus. I use a cotton pad to apply and it just leaves my skin feeling clean if you know what I mean. I use it almost every day and definitely it helps maintain the quality of my skin.

I received Hell-pore clean up aha fruit toner free from 0.8L in exchange for my honest review of this cleansing product. The clear colored liquid toner came in an adorablely designed plastic recyclable bottle. However, I was not impressed right after I got a whiff of the toner fragrance. It smells nasty like disgusting paint thinner! I decided to be brave though and use the toner on my face with a cotton pad. It effectively cleansed my skin, caused no irritation, but the after-smell of the product made my decision to say "thumbs down" very easy. No way do I want that smell around me. If this toner came in an unscented version, I'd bet it would be popular. I do appreciate this opportunity to submit my product review.
