I see the words "Dear My Best Friend" engraved into the surface of the brown oatmeal colored bar as I slip it into its nylon bag which doubles as both a foaming net and a storage bag. It's crazy how much it causes the bar to foam up and creates a super rich lather that gives off a light scent of botanical ingredients like lavender, tea tree and other mysterious herbs. I whisk it quickly around my face with a manual cleansing brush waiting for some sensation...some tingle, maybe a burn? I feel nothing except rich lather. I complete my brushing to rinse and it rinses off quickly & completely. My skin feels soft & smooth perhaps a little on the squeaky side but not drawn or tight as I move on to the next step in my routine. THE LOWDOWN: 👍 FANTASTIC!! This is a really nice soap!! I am told pH is around 7 which initially scared me but it's indicated specifically as low stimulation and for dry skin types so I had to try it on my face. I was surprised how gentle it is!! The ingredient list is impressive with rich oils, honey, oatmeal, & herbs - all really fine, natural stuff that is shown to be gentle & effective for improving skin texture and combating dry skin & acne. Plus the added nylon bag/foaming net was an awesome inclusion!! Really a great duo that can be recommended for most any skin type. I will definitely continue to implement this set as part of my daily routine.

I've been testing out this Benton Dear My Best Friend Bar this past week. This soap is made in small batches and contains 8 different oils as well as honey and calamine. It's meant for use on face and body and is suitable for sensitive skin. Now, I don't use any bar soap on my face, but I have been using this on my back and chest, where I do get the occasional breakout. I can say my skin is clearer after using this soap for about a week. It does leave my skin feeling clean without drying out or stripping my skin. It has a very natural smell to it, not overly perfumed. It also comes with a bag to help hold your soap and suds it up when washing. I think this would be great for someone who hates the feeling of harsh, drying soaps and I am enjoying it. I don't use bar soap because you can't sanitize or clean it, however, the soap bar net that it comes with makes it way easier to keep clean and I don't mind it. I wish all soap bars came with a soap bar net. Anyway, it smells really good since it has oatmeal and tea tree oil in it. Very smooth and moisturizing. Didn't dry my skin out!

One of the ingredients is Theobroma Cacao Seed Powder which is rich in antioxidant polyphenols and minerals. This will help manage sebum and dead skin cells. Avena Sativa Kernal Flour which is oatmeal is great superfood with fiver and antioxidants. Oatmeal helps skin be moisturized and supple. Calamine is good for skin soothing. Calamine lotion is used to treat chickenpox and is good for sensitive skin. Chamaecyparis Obtusa Oil relieves skin stress and improves the skin while soothing it. Lavender Oil makes the skin feel comfortable and soothed. I use the Dear my Best friend bar for my acne prone skin that has few blemishes and excess sebum. My skin has been dry, oily, acne-prone lately. Since it's the time of the month for me. I needed extra help with controlling sebum and this came in handle in controlling oil and dead skin cells. I use this with foaming net that came with it. It's so useful in making it very foaming and also being able to tie it to my shower head when I'm done. The scent of soap isn't floral or fragrant. It smells more like oatmeal and calamine. I can be safe to say this can be used unisex since it's not masculine scented or feminine. I find this to clean my skin very well and doesn't make my skin tight but isn't extra moisturizing. I do recommend following up with skincare like toner, essence, and cream. I find that blemishes do get smaller and skin looks a bit clearer after using this. I don't have any irritation using this but recommend if you do try it to at least do a patch test before trying a new product. Also, I did receive four sample pouches from Benton to try a few their other products which I appreciate. I give Dear My Best Friend Bar a 9.8/10. I definitely would recommend. After my oil cleanser, I wet this bar and get a nice lather in my hands before massaging it on my face. *BE CAREFUL OF EYES! I got some in my eye and it burns! Yay!! I just received my Benton "Dear My Best Friend Bar" soap. It came packed with a mesh bag to put the soap in. And so far so good. I've tried it just on my face and it feels moisturizing. I have sensitive, hormonal, dry/combination skin. I absolute love Benton products, it's no exception that this is a great product too. It has a mild medicinal smell that smells soothing. I would recommend this product for someone who doesn't have eczema or active dermatitis. It's good as a maintenance everyday soap.

This was my first purchase of a Benton Bar. I have to say I love this dear my best friend bar. It laters up so easily and is made of so many oils it's crazy. Perfect for all types, face or body parts. Definitely helps with dry skin, after washing your skin feels so smooth and hydrated. This is a must have for anyone with dry skin or loves oils in their soap. The moisturization is a huge factor to me in a soap. I could tell I didn't need to put lotion on after a hand washing.

Benton Dear My Best Friend Bar CrueltyFree!!! When I first rip open the soap, the natural sense of the soap filled the air. It's a soft face and body cleansing bar soap. It doesn't foam so I didn't "love" it right away. But you can tell that the soap was made of oils such as coconut oil, olive oil and palm oil. There's also witch hazel extract and tea tree extract so it claims to help with anti-inflammatory. This soap is defineitly best for oily or sensitive skin. It totally stripped my dry skin of all its oils after a shower. The Dear My Best Friend Bar comes sealed in a wrapper within a box. Immediately upon opening the wrapper, I could smell the frangrance of tea tree oil. I love tea tree oil. I used the bar during my next shower. The soap lathered up nicely, but left no residue once I rinsed. When I was done, I slipped the bar into the included mesh bag and hung it on a hook in my shower. I enjoyed the Dear My Best Friend Bar and would definitely recommend it.

I have a love/hate relationship with Benton, some products are HG status and some break me out and just dont work for me. This product is actually neutral for me. Thank you 0.8L for allowing me to try this bar. All opinions are my own. This natural soap bar claims to help eliminate sebum and acne, its even safe for sensitive skin. This soap is formulated with coconut plam oil, 8 type of vegetable oils and honey. It comes with a foaming net to help have luscious bubbles. There is a slight herbal scent but its pretty natural and does not bother me. This soap leaves the skin squeaky clean, soft but a little dry. I loved how smooth my skin felt but it also felt like the life was sucked out of it moisture wise. This will be good for summer for sure. One thing I can mention is it has not irritated my skin and has definitely calmed down my hormonal acne. I dont use bar soap on my face but this one is decent.

I was lucky to be chosen by 0.8l to try out this face and body soap. I used it once for my face and it left my skin feeling soft and clean without leaving it tight and dry but since I prefer to use other cleansers on my face I continued to use this as a body soap and I really liked it. and will continue to use it until its finished. DEAR MY BEST FRIEND BAR! It is such a unique bar of beautiful soap. It arrives packaged in a beautiful box and an airtight wrapper inside. There’s also an exfoliation drawstring bag to place the soap in to exfoliate the skin. It also assists in air drying the soap after use. Also, #Benton included a set of samples from their skincare line. I decided to slice the soap for ease of use and less waste. The soap was soft, like cutting butter, but still a very solid bar. I placed my slice in the provided drawstring mesh sack. After I got it wet the mesh was extremely foamy! I rubbed the entire thing all over my face and the bag made my skin smoother and the soap removed my makeup and left my skin so SOFT AND SILKY. 🌸 This soap is so great for a bar. I am impressed by the presentation and the soap itself is NOT scented strongly, which I love. I reccomend this to anyone. @bentoncosmetic is a cruelty free and natural Korean cosmetics/skincare brand. I’ve been a fan of them since I’ve tried their Snail bee high content essence years ago. Their Aloe propolis soothing gel always have a spot in my current staple. So I was happy to receive this Dear my best friend body and face bar from @0.8l_usa for a trial fee. . Ingredients: calamine, centella asiatica, tea tree, witch hazel, cacao seed, oatmeal, papain, and basil. . Claims: clinically proven to be non-irritating and reducing sebum. . I like the sanitary aspect that this bar soap was wrapped and sealed. The box also comes with a cute foaming net. . Application: I detect a light oatmeal scent. The soap foams up nicely with or without the foaming net. The bar glides smoothly on my skin and rinses off well. . How does it feel on the face you ask? Well, after I rinsed, I had the squeaky feels between my hands and my face. But surprisingly, my skin did not feel tight after I patted dry. . Do I recommend? Maybe, if you can get it at a discount price. I think there are a lot of high performance, easily accessible, and more affordable soap brands out there.
