☀ PRODUCT REVIEW ☀ This week I tested the "252 Ultra Bohr Effect CO2 Therapy Project" Gel & Mask Pack, which I received for free courtesy of @0.8l_usa. Photo credit goes again to my charming fiancé @iamdreamskies. I didn't know quite what to expect from this product, but I had some expectations based on the advertising. Sadly, I was left disappointed. First, the entire tube of gel is applied to the face and neck. Upon application of the mask over the gel, the two react with each other, fizzing and bubbling to form what I would assume is CO2 gas. However, for the duration of this reaction, my skin immediately felt as though it was on fire. I could see my skin turning red under the mask, and my eyes began to water from the stinging pain. I would have ripped the mask off immediately if not for the reassuring caution on the packaging that redness and irritation for up to one hour after application is apparently normal. After a couple of minutes, the pain subsided, so I was able to relax and leave the mask on for the full 20-minute duration. Upon removal, my skin surprisingly actually looked quite good. My face appeared supple, smooth, and even. I applied the rest of my night serums and moisturizers and went to bed, thinking that I had probably overreacting. Then, the next day mid-afternoon, itchy red patches appeared on my cheeks and forehead. For the next three days, my skin seemed much drier and more sensitive and irritable than usual. I've made no other changes to my skincare routine recently, so I suspect that this "Bohr Effect" product is the culprit. ✴TLDR: The "252 Bohr Effect CO2 Therapy Project" Gel & Mask Pack was painful to apply and appears to have made my skin more sensitive and dry than usual for days afterwards. I do not recommend this product until they update their system to be less harsh on facial skin. . . .

Packaging: Wax covered cardboard box, not sure I can recycle that. Inside is a plastic squeeze tube and a very very wide mask sheet with a separate piece for the neck/chin area . Scent: Sour, slightly vinegar like scent after applying the sheet mask . Price: $20|30ml (single tube) . Impressions: So many reviews before me that said this mask tingled and burned so I was extremely wary of putting this on my face. Scroll through to see a patch test on my hand. The lighting was kinda bad but I tried to capture the bubbling effects to the best of my ability. Hopefully you can see it. The reaction was immediate upon placing the dry mask sheet onto the serum from the squeeze tube. There was also a pretty strong tingling sensation on the back of my hand which I am not sure I was anticipating. I knew other users felt tingling to the point of pain and like almost 🔥on their faces but the back of your hand is not as sensitized as your face. That's why I decided not to let this go near my face. For all intents and purposes, I don't understand why this mask even exists. There are many types of bubbly masks that are much more gentle than this. Please use those instead

Well known as a substrate in various metabolic and energy-dependent processes, oxygen (O2) is necessary for repair and regeneration of the skin. Oxygen-themed products and recently popularized oxygen facials claim to improve elasticity, diminish the appearance of fine lines and illuminate the skin. However, the stability of oxygenating compounds in topical products is questionable and their ability to penetrate the stratum corneum (outer layer of skin), as well as their general efficacy, has not been clinically proven. To combat these issues, a less invasive CO2 facial suited for full-face treatment has been developed. Unlike subcutaneous CO2 injections, the CO2 facial generates CO2 bubbles on the skin surface, which permeate the epidermis with minimal discomfort. As CO2 facial, carboxy mask that apply Bohr effect has gain quite a popularity, especially because it means gaining the benefit of expensive clinic facial from the comfort of your home. And that is why I'm so excited to try this 252 Bohr Pack. 252 Bohr Pack promised 6 benefits: - Whitening - Skin balancing - Anti aging - Face tightening - Pore/sebum care - Trouble care It also has no Alcohol & Paraben, and cruelty-free. The package is a trial one consist of 1 tube & 1 dry cotton sheet mask). The gel is caramel colored & really thick, packaged in a white tube. 30g gel is a lot, but it is for a one time use only. The gel didn't smell much but the dry sheet mask has a weird smell though not strong and gone fast, so there's no problem for me. To use it, spread all the gel on the face (don’t “save” any for another use), then put the dry cotton sheet mask over the gel and two combined together will create the CO2 bubbling effect. The moment I put on the dry sheet mask, I feel a burning sensation – yes, stronger than just a tingle. Fight the urge to rip the mask off because this is supposed to happen. To me it felt like instant sun-burn pain, not bad & bearable, much better than chemical peeling or some facial procedures in the clinic or doctor's office. I just use my fingers to keep pressing onto the mask to release more CO2 bubbles. The pain goes away in 2 minutes, faster than I thought. I leave the mask on for a total of 30 minutes then take it off and throw it out. I still have quite a layer of the gel on some part of my face, so I use wet warm cotton pad to wipe it off, then wash off. After that I apply the usual skincare. As for the result, immediately there is a smooth effect! My skin was so soft and bouncy, feel so elastic. My skin is not red or irritated & didn't feel dry at all. I found that I was touching my cheeks a lot of times because it was so effortlessly smooth. Overall, it was a great mask, I might use it before special occasions and when my skin need a good facial. It's a good saving compared to going to clinic or doctor's for facial.

I know I am blowing everyone up with these 0.8L product testing shout outs this week, but I've been given the opportunity to test so many awesome products, lately... I just can’t leave any one of them out! Truly, it's really been such a delight to partner up with this incredible Influencer company @O.8l_usa . Moving along 😉... So, this particular facial mask ( 252 Bohr Pack) was a new experience for me because the mask itself came completely dry - like just a paper only mask. It also came with a tube of beautifully packaged liquid product that you applied FIRST to your face & follow it by then placing the dry mask on top of it. Pretty inventive & nifty stuff! And it actually has a pretty scientific purpose behind the precise way they ask you to apply their mask in order to maximize both the benefit & effectiveness. However, I don’t think my scientific explanation would do it justice. So, I would encourage you to check it out for yourself if you are in the market for a new inventive find in the facial mask department! 😉 Unfortunately in all honesty, I actually was unable to wear the mask for the full suggested 25mins, because my skin felt like it was burning slightly. So, I decided to take the mask off about 10-12 mins into use. I do have some skin sensitivities at times, and I didn't want to risk it. However, I am really grateful to have been able to try this cool mask out for a discount through @0.8l_usa ! I also believe that others that don't typically have skin sensitivity - would possibly enjoy this deep & regenerative mask! 👍🏼😘

I think maybe some more testing should of been done & a warning of use of some kind should of been placed in the instructions that came inside to warn us of the literal burning effect that this causes & that NOT all skin types, if not MOST skin types, would not be able to handle the harsh burning sensation that this gives off on the face! Apply enough of the gel from the tube that's included & spread the gel evenly on your face. Apply the mask sheet & leave on for about 25-30 minutes. After times up, wipe the gel off using a cotton pad & wash off anything left that remains of it COMPLETELY! Apply a moisturizer to prevent &/or treat any skin dryness or irritation that might of occurred!

The 252 Bohr Pack didn't come with much English instructions but the pictures makes it pretty easy to guess how to use it. You should cleanse and tone before applying the product to your face and neck than the mask pack goes on top. I would recommend using ton of product my mask didn't stick to well to my face or neck even though I added a good amount of the gel. I kind of wish the mask would stick better to the skin. You don't feel anything when you put the gel on but with a combination of the mask it makes your skin sting a little. The gel and mask generates C02 to the skin. Per online "CO2 transported in the blood vessel helps the release of oxygen from hemoglobin in the red blood cell  making which is called the Bohr Effect."  I was hoping to use the left over gel with a mask but it would require their special mask. The increased oxygen is suppose to speeds up metabolism and improves cell regeneration ability which helps with healing and processing skin problems. I got to admit even with the slight stick the results afterwards are pretty nice. My skin pretty tight and felt very soft.

I was able to try the Ultra Bohr Effect CO2 THERAPY PROJECT Mask for a small trial fee from the awesome @0.8l_usa & @252cosmetic. This mask is like no other sheet mask out there. The mask itself comes dry wrapped in cellophane. Accompanied by a tube of magic gel. There is a plethora of ingredients all skin softening such as crysanthsymum, honeysuckle, rose and licorice extract. The directions are as follows; apply ENTIRE 25g tube and then place dry mask ontop. After 25-30min rinse off completely. The company states you will feel a tingling sensation and thats where the magic happens. Many people have complained this process was painful and it burned, I however did not have this happen. I actually really enjoyed the whole process and would use the mask agasin no problem. My face was left clean, not tight. Softer, smoother and clearer. Also I noticed the effects lasted a good 3-4 days-REALLY! That is why the directions call for only once a week. The only thing that we ill stop me from using it again is the price. I have seen a 6 pack of the mask on average 120$. It is a little pricey for my blood. [REVIEW:] 252 ULTRA BOHR EFFECT Co2 Therapy Gel Description: Co2 activated mask pack for brightening, anti-aging, & acne-care Impressions: Wow!! What a mask experience this was!! CRAZY. It comes in 2 pieces: a dry cotton type sheet mask + the treatment gel. The gel is smeared on in a thick layer than the Co2 "activation" occurs when the cotton mask is applied over the gel. WHOA. Instant fireworks 💥!! This mask claims to "even everything out" by creating an increase in Co2 levels that increase blood flow to the skin so the other active ingredients in the mask like licorice root & other botanical extracts can have their maximum effect. To look at the ingredient list you'll see an impressive list of all natural botanical extracts, not a lot of fillers or chemicals. I was very impressed with what this mask had to offer. Having said all this, it IS one of the most aggressive treatments I've ever done. It sizzled for a hot second then the sensation subsided for the 25 minutes that you leave it on your face. My skin was definitely a bit raw and slightly irritated after using. The next day I could tell there was a bit of redness around my temples and other areas where the mask had dried & stuck to my face. I wore a hat for a couple days afterward for protection against the sun as my skin completely healed. By day 3, my skin looked GREAT. I don't know if this is the process by which it's supposed to work but I did feel like it worked for me. I saw definite improvement in skin texture, cleared & minimized pores and a brightened & glowing complexion (see pic.) In hindsight, I would recommend using this mask on a Friday night to look your best by Monday morning. And certainly, don't forget the hat!! 👒 I liked this mask so much I got 3 of them. I realize it may be WAY too aggressive for some skin types but I had a blast experimenting with this mask. **Recommended ONLY to the adventurous and NON-sensitive skin types!!**

. 🌿 252 Bohr Pack . I was super excited that I won this product and wanted to try it as soon as possible. Therefore, at the time I read others’ reviews on this bohr pack, I was confused and anticipated at the same time. To be honest, my expectation gone within a blink of an eye. Anyway, “beauty is pain”, who knows? . 🌿 This mask pack based on the Bohr effect which increased carbon dioxide in the blood and a decrease in pH, in this case, help speed up metabolism and improves cell regeneration ability. . 🌿 The product came with a gel tube that sealed properly and a dry sheet mask. However, no matter how many time I searched, there’s no way I can find the instructions booklet. I’ve been struggled to understand the pictures shown on the box. The gel is cooling and has a balm smell to it, kind of like tiger balm at first, but once apply to skin, it turns into a vinegary smells, not very pleasant. . 🌿 So of course, I did a patch test to see if it’s safe to use on my face, everything seem fine, the pain was not that bad. So I go ahead and applied the gel all over my face. Yes, all over it, I was so scared 😂 It was stung before I even put the mask on. And the pain began as soon as the mask touched the gel surface. It hurt as you patch it in, I could hear the sizzle sound on my face. . 🌿 Surprisingly, I could handle the pain 💪🏻 it calmed down after 3 minutes but still really tingle. I purchased the 252 Bohr Pack from 252 cosmetic from the 0.8Liter website for a trial fee price of $3.99! 0.8L has a new feature called "Try now". All opinons are my own. Its a great deal! I've bought many things now and have enjoyed almost everything I've gotten so far. I love my skincare products, especially Korean beauty products!! This is a 1 time use kit to sample. The kit comes with a paper mask, and the tube weighs at 30 ml/1 oz. The product has a faint plant scent. The consistency is a thin orange colored gel. This product states to have 6 different benefits from this therapy mask: Whitening, Skin balancing, Anti-aging, Face tightening/slimming, Pore/Sebum care, and Trouble care. I had some trouble with this mask. It was way too big for my face, and it wouldn't stay on! So I don't have a pic to add on my post. So sorry! I did feel the gel working though. I could feel it tingling and bubbling! I left it on for about 25 mins. The instructions say to: cleanse face, apply a toner. Apply gel all over face evenly, then apply mask. Leave on for about 25-30 minutes. Then clean/wipe gel off, then apply a moisturizer. My skin did feel very nice and soft after! I didn't notice it brighter, but Def felt clean, hydrated, and smooth. I was excited to try the 252 Cosmetic Ultra Bohr Effect C02 Therapy Project mask simply because the science behind it sounds intriguing. I definitely had to do some research regarding this medical mask, and here is what I found: The Bohr Effect introduces CO2 into the skin therefore decreasing oxygen in the hemoglobin and releases it into your skin. Oxygen in the skin is a natural way to boost cellular metabolism and create more youthful skin. As we age, our blood circulation slows down, making it harder for our skin to capture oxygen. The Bohr mask provides more oxygen to your skin which results in faster metabolism, improved cell regeneration, quick wound healing and less skin problems. Directions were not very clear from the get go, since there were none provided in English, but only a diagram instead. So, I took to the internet for some idea of how to properly apply the mask. After watching several beauty Korean beauty shows, I was able replicate the simple process. Inside the box there are two extra wide strips of masks, and my best guess is that they are for testing purposes. The first, just like with any mask, is to make sure your face is clean and toned. Secondly, I applied the gel to my face and used a brush to spread it evenly. I noticed that you need to apply a hefty amount making sure its extra thick on your face before applying the mask. Now it’s time to apply the mask! The mask itself is pretty coarse and stiff, so without enough gel, it will not cover (or stick to the face) completely. There is a simple fix though; I just added more gel underneath, and like in the video I added it on top, making sure it was thoroughly coated. Then wait 25-30 minutes as recommend, peel, wash face off with cool water and apply a moisturizer. I will say it is recommend that you apply gel to your face then mask, because what essentially is happening is a reaction from the ingredients in the gel to the ingredients in the mask. That is where you get the burning sensation, or as others have stated, “tingly” sensation. I was horrified, not having read many reviews or any that stated that this would be the case, and I was worried that this would damage my skin. Yes, it was uncomfortable for about the first 10 seconds, but afterward it felt like wearing a normal mask with my skin feeling slightly warmed. I don’t find my skin to be that sensitive, but keep in mind that everyone reacts differently. The burning and possible redness may be more severe due to sensitive skin or an allergy to an ingredient, so use with caution. If it’s too much, I would immediately take it off, wash the skin, and apply a moisturizer. For me personally, I checked my skin soon after the burning, but there was no redness nor was there any mid-way through the mask time or after taking it off. Since using the mask, I haven’t noticed anything other than positive effects such as my skin feeling smoother, noticeably tighter and exfoliated. I could see using this again, not every week, but maybe once a month since it is like shock to your skin. Overall, I was able to overcome the immediate burning sensation and love the payoff of healthy skin afterwards. I would caution anyone to try the testing strips on your hand or wrist before applying directly to the face, in order to see how your skin will react. I noticed this received a lot of negative reactions from the 08 Liter community, but I believe I thoroughly tried and tested the sheet mask to find that behind the science, there actually are noticeable differences and benefits to this.

This is actually my second review for this co2 mask. I absolutely love it. People have complained about the c02 sensation stinging but It only last a few minutes. I’ve never used a mask with such impressive results. My skin was so firm and bright.

MY EXPERIENCE- At first I smelled a very light scent of a medicinal. When applying it the scent had weakened. I applied the gel to my face following directions. Then I applied the white cloth- like mask that comes with the Bohr Effect. I heard a bubbling noise could feel a little tickling at the same time. I left it on for the 20 minutes. It was a little difficult to get it off, but not bad at all. When I was done I felt like it really did do an excellent job as far as cleansing and moisturizing. I give this 5 ⭐'s out of 5 ⭐'s! Aaaaand it was a big, fat NOPE!!! It sizzled. It burned. & I'm pretty sure I smelled cooked flesh. I ripped that little square off my face & called it a wrap! I really wanted to be one of the few that could tolerate the intense burning sensation but, sadly, I just could not handle the pain.

I am always in constant search of a facial mask that I can feel while it is working. I did not like this product at all. It is simple to use. First you spread the gel onto cleansed skin, then pop the dry sheet mask on top and leave for 15-20 minutes. I couldn’t even last 5 minutes! This stung my face and left it red and uncomfortable. I would not use this mask pack again.

This product was nice. There was easily 2 applications of the gel but only one mask which is unfortunate as that means I will have to purchase more.
