I have read more negative reviews than positive reviews on this particular mask. It is a bit surprising, but i didnt find it painful or agonizing. I found it actually rather nice. The tube has a gel in it that you rub all over your face and there is a dry paper face mask and a dry paper neck mask. The gel doesn’t bubble much until you put the dry paper masks on. Then it begins to sizzle and pop like POP ROCKS CANDY. I found it rather invigorating. I have semsitive skin so I was expecting pain and/or agony, but after reading all those reviews where other ladies suffered through or tore off thier masks immidiately I must have been super prepared and thats probably why it didnt bother me. That being said if I had just had an exfoliation or peel, or even if I had done a peel off mask in the past three days, I can imagine it would have stung badly. I reccomend this mask for a sleepover or best friend day where you have another person doing the mask with you for moral support. For my first review, I am trying out and reviewing this rather interesting product: 252 Bohr Effect Mask Therapy pack. It arrived today and was ecstatic to try it out for my nighttime skincare routine. Upon first glance, it had a very elegant-looking packaging, definitely a high-end product that you would see being sold in high-end cosmetic stores like Sephora. Inside the packaging are two items: a tube of the therapy gel and a dry facial mask with an extra sheet. Judging from the contents, I knew that this entire pack is good for only one use, just like with your any other facial mask. You just need a little bit of labor to prepare for this treatment. I've searched around for more information regarding the instructions, however, I followed the illustrations on the box (can't read Korean, of course). First, you do your usual cleansing routine and apply your toner. The second part is the very crucial part: creating your therapy mask. Now, before I started writing this review, I found a lot of other 08L reviewers giving it a thumbs down because the gel stung and burned their skin greatly. I was getting worried at first, but then I figured if it was the way that the other users have applied their gel on their mask was where it might have went wrong. It could also be depending on the type of skin, but I had a feeling it was probably how the mask was created. So, here's what I did. I used a paper towel as a platform for the dry mask. I laid the mask over the paper towel, and then squeezed the entire tube of the gel all over the mask. I started spreading the gel throughout the entire mask so that it becomes very moist. I figured that there will be excess gel leftover on the paper towel after moistening the entire mask with it, and that I used the excess gel for the other dried piece of the mask. Once both pieces were moist, I placed the mask on my face and the smaller piece on my neck. There was a little bit of tingle upon application (as the package said), however, I did not feel that burning sensation that the majority of the reviewers mentioned in their reviews once I finally left it on my face. In fact, as you leave it on longer, it becomes a lot more refreshing and relaxing. The smell of the gel isn't exactly the most pleasing, but it's not very noticeable either. Now, if there were any English-translated instructions on how to use this product somewhere in the net, I'm sure most of the reviewers would not be saying what they're saying right now. As for me, as a regular facial mask user, I always have known that masks are always moist, and just slopping and spreading the gel from the tube all over the mask without evening out the gel throughout the entire mask using your fingers would become a lot more concentrated and very potent, and thus will create this burning sensation when it wasn't supposed to. After all, keep in mind the words printed on the package: "Even Out Everything." It meant exactly as it says: EVEN OUT EVERYTHING (even out the gel throughout the mask until it's moist before you wear it). After some 27-28 minutes, I removed the mask (because it dried out anyway). Like any facial mask, there were some remnants of the gel leftover on your face. According to the illustration, I moistened two cotton pads and gently patted the gel against my skin, then rinsed my face right after. Lastly, I followed with my usual rest of the skincare steps (essence, serum, Elizavecca B-jo Eye Want Cream). My face felt very refreshed. Because of the potency of the gel, I knew that this treatment wasn't meant for daily use. Maybe at least once or twice a week. Again, if there were accurate English-translated instructions existing in the net somewhere, I could have given a better, more accurate review of this product. On the other hand, I remembered a bit of a joke regarding "luxurious skincare." Sometimes, you would have to go through a lot of pain in order to be luxuriously beautiful. The 252 Ultra Bohr Effect Mask Pack is a fine example of this little saying.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this product! !! My face feels amazing and so smooth. The mask does tingle but that definitely ment that it was working cause afterwards my face felt like it was finally able to breath.

I received my 2-step mask. It was a little complicated to understand the instructions aren't english. I did notice my face felt firmer, but I would be cautious if you have sensitive skin. My skin was red and a burning sensation. Which didn't last very long. The product definitely made my skin feel firmer and smother.

Thanks to @0.8L for letting me purchase this product at a discount for me to try and review. After reading the effect of this face mask I was excited to try. I was a little disappointed because according the the pictures I thought I was going to received a pack but I got one product. Anyways, I used the product in the morning and did as it states. Apply the gel liberally on the face you do need a lot of it so that the mask stays on the face, almost the whole tube. I did not like the smell, it smells vinegary. Once I put the mask on I could feel a burning sensation which I thought was normal because it’s C02. I left it on for 15 minutes because it was burning my skin (recommends 20-25 minutes). I removed the masked and rinsed my face off with warm water and as you can see in the pictures it burned my face. My skin was so irritated I was very uncomfortable luckily I had purchase a face balm that has vitamins and quickly massaged it to my face. My face was red for a good 2 hours. I can’t say that the product does not work because I couldn’t really use it as it states.I would say if you don’t have sensitive skin try it and if you feel a burn don’t use it. I was received the 252 Bohr Pack to review. The 252 Bohr Pack came shipped in a thin bright blue plastic envelope bag that didn't seemed to be handled with much care. The 252 Bohr Pack itself is a small squeeze tube with a narrowed tip accompanied by a single dry sheet mask folded and wrapped in a plastic wrapper. All of it was neatly tucked into a small white cardboard box with the Bohr logo and a perforated opening in the middle. The 252 Bohr Pack product seems to be a quality product. It has a good list of ingredients. However, I was not really a fan of the 252 Bohr Pack. The 252 Bohr Pack gel is a light brown color with a nice texture and was easy to apply. I wasn't a huge fan of the scent but with ingredients like licorice, pine, honeysuckle, and other botanicals, I didn't expect it to smell extremely pleasent either. I wasn't sure what to expect since it was my first time using it and all the instructions were in Korean. The pictures provided seemed pretty self explanitory and I was able to get it translated with an app on my phone. THe instructions did say to expect a slight tingle to know that the product is working. But instead of the refreshing light tingle feeling I was expecting, I was left with a very irritating burning feeling the whole time the the gel was on my face and the burning feeling continued for a short time even after I washed it off and left me with a lot of redness. The instructions say to leave the gel on under the sheet mask for 30 minutes but I couldn't even make it past a minute since it burned so much! I don't have sensitive skin so I'm not sure why this happened. Over the next few days, my face broke out a little and I'm very suspicious of the 252 Bohr Pack since it was the only new skincare product I tried this week. I wanted to love the 252 Bohr Pack but, unfortunately, I really dislike the product and personally would not recommend it.

The combination of the gel and the mask supposedly generates CO2 which then is used for "skin cleansing" and "carbonation care effect". . To be quite honest, I read a few reviews that this mask would burn, so I kept putting this mask off. So to be safe, I patch tested it; placing a small amount of gel onto a small area on my face, even pressed the sheet mask on. If you swipe to the second photo, you can kinda see on the sheet mask where I've done that. . This is gonna be a big bag of nope for me because this 👏🏼stuff👏🏼burned. At first when I applied the mask I heard a "sizzle" and that scared the crap out of me 😂 It was just the mask and gel working together. At that point it didn't burn. I decided to keep pressing it there for a little bit to really decide if I wanted to apply it to the rest of my face. I felt a slight warming sensation at first and it escalated real quick from there to a burning sensation. Nope. . I washed my face immediately after that and decided I just can't risk my skin for it, so I did not give it a second try. I initially thought this came in a 4 pack but luckily there was just 1. It also retails for over $100, (I've even seen some over $200!) and from the small patch test, I just can't see how it's worth the price point. . I received the 252 Bohr pack to try for free in exchange for my honest opinion. I wish I had a better review to give since this is the first product I have ever received from #08L site. The pack consist of a gel and a sheet mask you place on top of the gel. Looking at other reviews, I was hesitant to use this mask already, as my sensitive skin is dry due to it being winter time already. I decided to use the gel first on wrist to sample it and see if it would burn as badly as other people have said. I applied it on my skin and after 5 minutes, I was burning so badly I removed it with water and soap!! I definitely wouldn't use this on my dry skin on my face after testing it on my wrist and getting such a bad red, burning sensation. I do not see myself using the rest of this product which is a shame since it is a full size products and was hoping for some relief to my dry skin needs. I don't know what about the product makes this have such an aggravating effect on skin, but the product clearly needs to be re-assesed, or re-formulated. Disappointed in this #KBeauty product, hopefully I can try another product and get great results, just not this one :(.

The 252 Bohr pack is a medical grade advanced biological facial treatment which is very intense. The product utilizes a chermical interaction when applued to produce an intense interaction to renew the skin surface. It reminded me of being stung by a thousand bees. I kept the mask on for 22 minutes. It is recommended to keep it in for 25 to 30 minutes. I followed the directions on the back of the box which are very self explanatory. The company recommends, cleansing skin first, using a toner and then applying the product. I followed these recommendations. The package contains one gel tube, one facial mask and one towelette type to help remove the mask. I applied the gel which is honey colored to my face. This was bearable. I placed the mask on my face which activated the Co2. This was more intense and stung. After About 7 to 10 minutes the mask hardened and the stinging went away. I noticed some itching but this was bearable. I tolerated it for 22 minutes. I do not recommend pulling the mask off your face. I wet the towellette and gently inched the mask off with the water. My face was pink from the interaction. I followed the directions and completed with a serum, moisturizer and lotion. My skin felt very sensitive and I was careful to avoid any heavy makeup for a few hours. I think this product is definitely more suitable for more mature skin. This is honestly one of the most intense masks I have ever tried! You rub the serum on your face and then apply the mask. As soon as the mask makes contact with the gel it feels like a jolt of electricity is zapping your face! The point of this mask is to push oxygen into your skin. The gel and mask create CO2 together! Once you get past the initial jolt it is much more comfortable. My skin looked and felt great after using it! I plan on buying more! As the other reviews state, this mask was too painful to take a proper picture once on it was on. There's a popular saying that pain is beauty, so I wanted to really give this mask a try. This mask is formulated to allow co2 to penetrate the skin. This is to help increase oxygen supply to speed up metabolism and cell regeneration ability. They claim this has benefits such as whitening, antiaging, cell cleansing and healing troubled skin. When I first applied the gel, I noticed it had an herbal, menthol smell. It wasn't disgusting but not the best. At first it tingled like any bubble cleanser but it was not uncomfortable, after applying the sheet mask all hell broke loose. It immediately started popping and crackling like I opened a can of soda on my skin, it felt like thousands of needles were poking at my skin, it was very uncomfortable. After about five minutes the sensation died down and was fine. If I touched the mask, however, it would start tingling again. I managed to keep it on for about 25 minutes and rinsed, the sensation started again and it was extremely difficult to remove. ✔️Final result: My skin felt extremely clean, soft and even brightened. I had quite a few red spots and my bottom lip was swollen from irritation and I could STILL fell the tingling sensation. Other than that, no huge difference. However, that did change the following morning. My skin was visibly clear and brighter and felt so good. It was not dramatic but I was happy with it. I am torn by this product, its painful but it really does work! If you have a high pain tolerance or are a weirdo like me, I think you would enjoy this. Oddly enough, I would try it again. Its not for everyone.

I received the ultra Bohr effect pack in exchange for my honest review. I was so excited when I got it this morning in the mail, well that excitement turned to disapppoiment, I couldn't handle the stinging, normally I can handle a little sting.. Like in a lip plumper, but this was really bad. It didn't burn on my hand, I did a test before hand to see if I was going to have a reaction.. It didn't burn until I put the mask on. It did have a pleasant smell which was good.

I absolutly did like like this product. The gel was easy to put on and did not have a bad scent but not a good one either. The mask part was very stiff and scratchy to touch. Followed the instructions by cleaning and toning my face fist. Then apply the gel in a nice thin even layer. Then it said put the mask on your skin and press it to the gel. This is where it went south for me. The instant the paper mask touched the gel my skin burned so bad i was in tears. I could not last more the a few sconds with the paper mask on. After i took it off my skin was as red like it was burned. I tried to use my moisterizer and it felt like i had applied the paper mask all over again. I will never use this again thank you .08l for letting my try this for free for my honest opinions

The packaging is cute. It came in an adorable box and it's very simple. In order to apply the mask, you first put the masking gel directly on your face and then apply the provided sheet mask over the gel. The gel is a brown color, and I was off put by the scent. I can't really describe what it smells like, it just is kind of funky. I applied the gel to my face and had no issues. I started applying the sheet mask to the gel and IT BURNED. MY FACE WAS ON FIRE. I hadn't even applied the mask everywhere, it was lightly brushing my cheeks and the burning amd stinging sensation was too much for me. I tried 3 times to remove the sheet and reapply it, but each time I was met with my skin screaming in pain. I immediately washed the mask from my face and applied a green tea sheet mask to my face for 30 minutes. I don't know if it's obvious yet, but no, I would not recommend this product. Apparently if you stick through the pain, the results do occur but I don't think anything that burns your face like that should be applied to your skin.

Ok today was great! I sat back watched Hallmark (my fave Saturday and Sunday movies) curled up in the couch eating forbidden Chinese food (diet cheat lol). The Bohr Effect refers to the phenomena where an increase in CO2 levels leads to a decreased affinity of haemoglobin for oxygen. An increase in the release of oxygen also increases PO2 value. The increased oxygen supply speeds up metabolism and improves cell regeneration ability. This results in quick wound healing process as well as easing skin problems. ☃ Doesn't it sound amazing! Well yes however here is my experience. I have combo borderline sensitive skin. The gel stinks but some skin does but i kept going. Next I put on the thick dry sheet mask....boy oh boy this was the problem. I was burning like a bad chemical burn. It hurt so bad and face was beet red. 😲 I had to take it off and wash my face. Then follow with a soothing sheet mask. I hipe I don't break out. I guess you win and lise some. I hope this mask can be useful to others even though it wasnt for me

So I read quite a few reviews before trying this product out and seriously I was horrified to even try to product, but I figured hey try it and if it burns just wash it off. The product is a one-time use product and comes with a 1 oz tube of therapy gel and a cotton sheet mask. You are suppose be use the whole tube of gel on your face. I slathered my face with the gel and felt like I still had about ¼ left in the tube, but I seriously felt like I could not put anymore product on my face, since I had read multiple time that when you place the mask on your face it begins to burn, I lightly placed the mask on top of the gel on my face and it only tingled slightly, I pushed the mask down on my cheek a little more and it burned quite a bit, but it didn’t really feel like an allergic that I have had in the past so I decided to just relax and leave the mask on. I ended up leaving the mask on for the 30 minutes as it recommends, I pushed the mask down here and there on my face during those 30 minutes and it did burn the whole time but it wasn’t anything that wasn’t unbearable to me, I feel like if I would have just smoothed the sheet mask on my face all at once there is no way I could have tolerated it. After the 30 minutes a lot of the gel had dried down and when I took off the mask, it was like taking off a peel off mask. This product definitely helped my dry skin and left my skin really smoothed and my pores were definitely cleaned out. I don’t think it really helped with any brightening. This product worked great as an exfoliator and it did not irritate my sensitive skin at all. This is definitely a unique product since it hydrated and exfoliated quite well together I could not find a set price for this product and I went to their website but it was in Korean, I did find the 6 pack box of masks on eBay but it was selling for $117.88 and $177.34 on the esbellebeauty.comwebsite. Would I purchase this product for this price, heck no. Would I purchase this product again, despite the burning I would actually like to try this product again because it is hard to judge a product after once use.

The Ultra Bohr Effect Co2 Therapy Project Mask is a 2 part system mask. The benefits are: whitening, skin balancing, anti-aging, face tightening, pore/sebum care, and treat troubled skin. The effects of the co2 is supposed to help "blood vessels dilate and increase blood flow to supply nutrients and oxygen to the skin." The first step is to apply the gel from the tube in a generous amount all over your face, avoiding your eyes and mouth. The second step is to apply the sheet mask on top of the gel and leave on for the suggested time of 25-30 minutes. As soon as the sheet soaked into the gel, I could hear a sizzling/bubbling sound. At first, it was kind of cool and interesting, but then it instantly turned painful as I continuously patted the sheet mask into the gel. I wasn't sure what was going on, but it felt like my face was burning and it was stinging all over. I probably only had the mask on 5 or so minutes because I couldn't stand the pain anymore. As soon as I peeled the mask off, I could see that my face was noticeably red. I quickly washed the gel off with my face wash, and it no longer hurt. I've felt similar pain before with masks that contain 'alcohol, but this was far worse. I don't think I would've been able to do the total 30 minutes with it on. Unfortunately, this package only contained 1 sheet, so I couldn't try again, even though the tube still had plenty of gel left. I was excited to try it for the 2-step process and for the benefits, but sadly disappointed due to pain. There are some positives to this product. 1: it was easier to use since the gel and sheet mask were separate. No fiddling with trying to unwrap a wet mask since this sheet was dry. 2: soft skin from the co2 effect. However, I would not purchase this product in the future or recommend to anyone who has sensitive skin.

It’s a lottle hard to know what to do wih the white mask part, it does burn alittle but not unbesrable,smells decent, I really enjoyed it, my skin is super smooth and soft, the burning was more of a tingle and it made it almost feel like a facial. It felt good while i took a mommy break in the bubble bath!

Unlike the soap I tried from this company, I wasn't glad with this product. It is supposed to improve oxygen flow in your skin and keep its youthfullness. The carbonated gel itself is not bad when you apply it to your skin but when the paper mask is placed on top of it the carbon has nowhere to run but burn your skin. It was harsh on my skin although company warned about tingling sensation I might feel. I don't think I can put such a harsh product on my skin although I believe that extreme exfoliation is beneficial from time to time to keep skin youthful. I would not recommend it for sensitive skin.
