Steagle Laptop webcam cover is perfect to cover your webcam lens on your laptops. If you ever read or listen to the news that hackers can hack into your computer and turn on your webcam when you are not looking, you'll know either to put tape or post-it notes to cover your webcam lens. This is a great alternative to using tape or whatever you use to cover the lens. Steagle makes this new concept of electronic device accessory that can cover the lens of the webcam while making it stylish and you even swipe it to open or close when you don't want someone to peek without your permission. You have to make sure the area on the laptop is a place where you can place it without any obstruction. I couldn't use it on my Samsung laptop since there is my mic on the top but my HP laptop works great for this type of accessory. It's very easy to use. I recommend opening the slider so you know that you're not sticking it on the webcam lens and it's not obstructing the view. Also, make sure you want to place this permanently since this might be hard to remove. It can be removed but you won't really be able to reuse this since the sticky part on the back doesn't work as great as the first time. I do like the design and it so easily slides it open or close. It makes the accessory easy to use. I recommend this to anyone who might be paranoid about someone hacking their webcam or if you constantly using the laptop. Coming home from night classes about 7 years back, I noticed a green light coming from my laptop 💻 screen. Ordinarily, I don’t even know if I would have noticed, but in this case, it was late at night & I hadn’t actually touched my laptop since printing out a paper 5 hours prior that was due that evening in class. So, just to recap my open laptop was “asleep,” showing only a blank black screen, and my computer had not been used for at least 5 hours. The green light I saw shining out of my laptop in my darkened dining room is the same green light that comes on whenever I’ve used FaceTime, which indicates the camera is on & in use. Knowing that I did not have the camera on & had not used FaceTime recently, I got creeped out! Immediately, I rushed to my laptop & closed it in a panic. At the time, I was a single mom of a 2 year old little girl, working part time from home, & attending Graduate school 3+ nights a week. I was stretched a little thin, but I felt I was pretty proactive with obviously both mine & my daughter’s safety. I did not, however, consider the vulnerabilities & safety risks of simply having a computer in my home with a built in camera. After finding the green camera light glowing from my laptop that evening, I began researching computer camera hacking, which until that time I knew nothing about. Wow! I would encourage you to do brief research of your own about hacking & personal computer cameras. After learning that it is possible for someone to hack into my camera on my laptop (perhaps even my cell phone?) & watch me or my family through it, I put darkly colored sticky notes over the camera of my laptop & work computer. These colorful sticky notes have been covering tech cameras in my house ever since. IG friends, I share this with you with the intent to empower you to be conscientious and cautious with the technology most all of us have in our homes. In my book, it is always a good idea to try to stay as educated as possible with technology, because it is speeding up & advancing everyday. Again, I don’t believe fear or panic ever serves anything, but protecting how accessible we or our families are in this tech age, is hugely important. So, when @0.8l_usa sent me this computer camera cover by Steagle free of charge in exchange for my review, I was excited! And a little relieved I wasn’t alone in worrying about the camera devices on computers & phones being hacked. These light weight camera covers slide open to use the camera & slide closed when you are not using the computer camera. You simply apply light pressure with one finger on the center point of the cover & slide it over. It attaches to my laptop screen with a simple but simingly very durable sticky backing. There are choices in covers as well that include sayings (written words) and colorful country flags 🇺🇸 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 🇨🇦. My cover on my lap camera has been there for the past 2 weeks, but I’ll have to see how well it sticks overtime. I don’t believe it would hold up for reuse if you were wanting to switch computers. It definitely feels like a one time sticky use type backing, which works fine with me. It definitely helps me to feel a bit safer knowing that my technology is as secured as other parts of my home & life! ✅

This Steagle webcam cover is something I did not know I NEEDED! Prior to receiving this, I actually had a sticker on my webcam because having the webcam exposed at all times makes me uncomfortable, but it always leaves glue stains or a mess when I want to use the camera! Are you ever afraid someone has access to your computer camera? I received an @steagleit webcam cover with an American Flag design. It is very easy to apply and the adhesive is very strong. It easily slides open and closed without jamming. I doubt anyone is using my camera but it gives a feeling of safety and privacy. *received for free to test

I received this product [STEAGLE] Premium Laptop Webcam Cover from 0.8L to review with my honest opinion and with using it I love it. I don’t have to worry about if someone hacks into my computer to be able to watch me or my kids. I can open it when I want to use it and keep it closed all the other times. And even still be able to close my laptop with out it worrying if it will shut all the way. My kids love how it looks with their dad being in the military. Reminds them of him. Really like this well designed, high quality lightweight aluminum webcam cover. Very easy to apply/install, and it slides smoothly on the rails. much better than using tape or a sticker over the lens, like I had previously. No more wasted time cleaning tape adhesive off the lens to use the webcam when needed! Simply slide the cover to the side and your cam is ready to use. I liked this product, which I received for free from Steagle and 08L for my trial and review, so much that I purchased 2 more when given the opportunity at a discounted price for my other two devices. Definitely a product I'll continue using on future laptops/ipads I purchase.

This is actually a really cute and useful design. Before I got this, I used a sticky note to cover my webcam, and it was super ugly. Therefore, I am pretty excited when I know I have the opportunity to try out this product. After I got this and try this out, I do like it a lot, and I would def purchase one by myself for my next computer.

I was recently sent the STEAGLE Premium Laptop Webcam Cover to try for free in exchange for my honest review. Since I recently received a Chromebook for Christmas, I was super excited to try the STEAGLE Premium Laptop Webcam Cover. It took a little time for it to arrive in a large manila bubble envelope which was quite surprising since it was so small. I opted for the one that said “don’t touch my laptop” in white with black lettering. The STEAGLE Premium Laptop Webcam Cover seems to be made of a thin study metal material about a millimeter thick and half an inch tall by and inch and a half wide. The STEAGLE Premium Laptop Webcam Cover is very easy to use. You just peel back the clear plastic after removing it from the package (which you do need scissors for) and stick it over the camera part of your laptop. You could probably use it on a computer or another other device with a small camera that you don’t want to be able to be in use all the time. But be careful of placement because,  surprisingly, once the STEAGLE Premium Laptop Webcam Cover is on your device, it is very hard to remove. Now, because my Chromebook is black, this made this particular option of STEAGLE Premium Laptop Webcam Cover very noticeable but they do come in other varieties of shades and options. Additionally, I don’t recommend using on super thin laptops like a Chromebook because with the STEAGLE Premium Laptop Webcam Cover on my Chromebook, it didn’t quite close all the way and that really annoys me. With people being so nosey and everyone thinking they could be hackers, I think the STEAGLE Premium Laptop Webcam Cover is a pretty good device to have. While it may not be a perfect fit for my device, I think that it’s a really good idea and worth trying out if you are concerned about privacy issues.

This Steagle product was excellent. Always I’m concerned about the security when I use my computer. And I’m always looking for accessories to protect my computer. With this cover for my webcam I feel a little bit more secured. Easy to apply. First step I doing was check is appropriate for my web cam. Then I remove the plastic and attach the product in my webcam and that’s it. I like it. The product is thin and don’t affect my laptop when I need to close.

I gave this to my son for his laptop, and he absolutely loved it. I am very happy with it as well. It is very sturdy, and it is not too big... I like the fact that he can cover his camera when he is not using it. I would definitely recommed this product. My son actually asked me if I had another one, that is how much he liked it. I wish I could find one for my iMac.

We love this web cam cover! Not only is it the American Flag but i now feel so much more comfortable with my kids playing online with my laptop! I have heard so many crazy scary stories of hackers it would scare me so bad the i would put duct tape over the web cam. But now i dont have to look tacky i can look patriotic and stylish. And now i no longer have to worry about creeps spying in me and my family.

I received the Steagle Premium Laptop Webcam Cover for testing and reviewing purposes. I loved the fact that it was a super cute American flag. It was very easy to use and all you do is slide the emblem over and you have access to your webcam again. The biggest issue I faced with this webcam cover is that it didnt stick very well at all. poot kept falling off everytime I opened the cover. This eventually made it useless because eventually wouldn't stick at all. This would be a great product if it actually stuck to the laptop.

I love this webcam cover for my laptop its so cute. It’s magnetic and stays over the camera lens. When you’re ready to use the cover just slides to the right and can be slid back over the lens when you’re done. Super cute even says “Don’t touch my laptop”.
