I’ve recently gotten into using essential oils and coincidentally was also getting lots of breakouts on my skin! I was using concentrated tea tree oil to help calm down the breakouts. This cleansing water smells just like tea tree oil and I use it daily to prevent pimples from popping up! I usually do a double cleanse on the days I wear makeup and then use this before applying the rest of my skin care items! The smell is pleasant and I find that it does help to further cleanse my skin. One thing that I dislike about this (and all) cleansing waters is that they sometimes dry to a tacky or sticky finish. This one has a slight tacky feeling after a few minutes pass by I combat this feeling by fanning my face until it’s completely dry. 😂 overall, its a good product to have in my skincare routine. ^^

I don’t mind it at all. • 🌷 Performance: I agree with all the claims above. I used it as a cleanser in the morning instead of washing my face but I like washing my face too much so I don’t do it this way often. - I also used this cleanser to remove sunscreen and makeup on rare occasions. It removed the gunk very well without making my skin stripped or irritated. However, there was still traces of waterproof mascara and eyeliner. I did not feel any stickiness or residue left behind. In fact, my face felt very refreshing after using this water. • 🌷 Just out of curiosity, I also have a bottle of @thesaem.official tea tree cleansing water so I compared the 2 together. All opinions are my own. / 🌱 What it is: A tea tree-based cleansing water that's supposed to help remove makeup, clean impurities, control sebum production, hydrate, soothe, and revitalize. Targeted especially for oily/acne-prone skin. Since it contains tea tree, avoid using this on/around the eyes. Ideal for a morning cleanse or at night as first step cleanser. Best used with cotton pad. No need to wash off. The texture is watery and lightweight. / 🌱 Packaging/design: I like the simple packaging. Comes with a generous amount of product that easily dispenses on a cotton pad. / 🌱 Scent: Has a tea tree/herbal scent. Not unpleasant, moderately strong. / 🌱 Ingredients: Contains 70% tea tree, which is a generous amount of a great ingredient for acne and sebum production. Has minimal ingredients (looks good on cosdna). Paraben-free 🙌🏼 / 🌱 Effects: I like this cleansing water! I use this as a nighttime first cleanser sometimes although I prefer oil based cleansers. However, this is a good alternative for morning cleanser or as a makeup remover. It removes most makeup (shown in pictures), so I think it'll be a great first cleanse at night (except for eyes- DO NOT apply on eyes!!! You have been warned) I only wear sunscreen, and I think it properly removes it. I rinse it off since I feel like it leaves a little bit of film (okay maybe I'm just a clean freak), but it's definitely comfortable to move right on to other skincare. Feels very lightweight on the skin. The scent lingers a little (until I rinse it off). I don't see a significant result in reduction of acne, but it did not agitate acne or clog pores. On the mornings I use this, I am a little less oily at the end of the day. I try to avoid using this directly on large pimples/wounds since it can irritate them. Overall, pretty good. / 🌱 Cost: $19-$20 (on @stylekorean_global and @0.8l_usa) A bit hard to find online since it's a new product. Pros Removes toxin and waste Natural ingredients 70% tea tree Soothes and calms skin Non irritant Great all skin type Daily use Cons None I like that I can use this cleanser daily relieving my irritated skin and removing dirt. Benton Tea Tree Cleansing Water is a cleansing water that gives a refreshing & calming effect on tired skin while mildly cleansing. The product has only 10 clean ingredients free of PEGs and Sulfates and is great for tired skin, oily/acne prone skin, delicate skin, angry skin from heavy makeup, and skin with a water oil imbalance. . . Use this as a cleansing water as a makeup remover or a morning cleanser. Wet a cotton pad with the product and gently wipe the entire face. When removing makeup use a separate product for eye makeup removal. . . I really was not that impressed by this Tea Tree Cleansing Water that looks and feels just like water with no smell. When I used this in the morning my face did not feel like it was left clean at all, and a sticky residue was left behind leaving my face tacky and yucky feeling. When I used this cleansing water to remove makeup I was very upset to see the amount of makeup that it did not get using the front and back of two makeup removal pads when I went back over my face with toner afterwards, and although it never dried or broke my skin out those two benefits to me just weren't enough. I receive this product to try and give my honest review. The Benton Tea Tree has an amazing back story. The company -product Benton was inspired from the movie Benjamin Button. Remember Benjamin kept growing younger with time. Boy, it would be nice. We all love to do that. The Benton Tea Tree Cleansing Water is pretty good so far. I have only used it a few days but so far so good. I love the smell of Tea Tree and this oil is made with Tea Tree Leaf water and Tea Tree Leaf Oil. the product can also be use as makeup remover as well as a toner. The product does get rid of impurities and relieves stress on the skin. The Benton Tea Tree Cleansing Water is really nice and had the face feeling very smooth after you apply and it does not leave a sticky feeling. This product is good if you like TeaTree Oil but may take some getting use to the natural smell. The product is to be used as a makeup remover or morning cleanser. it is recommended for skin tired from impurities and external stress.
