First Impressions review of the Manyo Factory Galactomyces Niacin Special Treatment Essence! This is definitely a product that requires a longer period of use to see real effects, so I will keep using and update 😊 ⠀ This was a product I couldn't resist trying because I've seen nothing but great reviews of this product and brand, and amazingly, this is my first Manyo Factory product! ⠀ This product is thin watery essence that's meant to be used as an FTE (first treatment essence). From the Manyo Factory website "this booster improves stubborn signs of aging such as dull, uneven skin tone, helps hasten the fading of post-breakout marks, and minimizes the appearance of skin discolorations and wrinkles." ⠀ The ingredients list is incredibly short and sweet: Galactomyces Ferment Filtrate, Niacinamide, Zanthoxylum Piperitum Fruit Extract, Pulsatilla Koreana Extract, Usnea Barbata (Lichen) Extract, Hamamelis Virginiana (Witch Hazel) Extract, Sodium Hyaluronate. ⠀ I've been using this product daily (sometimes twice daily) for almost 2 weeks. I use it right after cleansing and it seems to absorb into the skin instantly without leaving any residue. There's absolutely no scent I can detect, so this is great for those who don't like the fermented smells. ⠀ So far, I've seen some mild brightening while using this, but this could be due to my actives. I'm going to try using with without actives and see what happens. ⠀ One thing to keep in mind is that this product needs to be used within 6 months of opening. FYI, the brand recommends 6-8 drops for dry skin/3-4 drops for oily skin. Also, most FTEs are generously sized (~150ml), but this retails for $26 for 50ml. ⠀ So far I'd recommend this product, mostly because it feels nice and I like the ingredients list. I've been interested in trying more @manyofactory_official products for quite a while, so when @0.8l_usa offered the Galactomyces Niacin Special Treatment Essence I had to snatch it up 😈 . . This essence claims to help reduce the appearance of pores and hyperpigmention, as well as improve overall texture. . . I've been using it for about two weeks as a first essence. It's slightly thicker than water and when applied it sinks in quickly without stickiness. I have noticed that my skin is less irritated after application and that small pimples have been healing faster without much of a mark. So far I love using this and definitely plan to keep it in my routine for a while.

It looked very interesting to me and I am familiar with Manyo Factory and I know they are a respected k beauty brand. I love trying new serums and essence products, but I wasn’t quite sure what galactomyces were. It means the product is fermented which is different for me and seemed like something that would be good for my skin. 💧💧💧 This is a multifunctional serum that also has niacinamide in it, which is an ingredient I’m very familiar with now and I love it. This product claims to enhance skin by penetrating deep into the layers of the skin, it also claims to tighten pores and clear skin in days while increasing moisture. 💧💧💧 I’ve been using this around a week or so and I’m pretty impressed. My skin is clearing up from a few recent breakouts and I haven’t had any more breakouts in about 2 weeks. It does seem to add some nice moisture to my skin as well. Also I think it has helped in making my skin brighter and more youthful looking. In short, I really enjoy this product and I’m really glad I was able to try it. I put it on right after my toner before my other essence and serums because it is a little more watery/ slick than other serums plus it is also supposed to help the rest of your skincare products to be more beneficial and work better. 💧💧💧 I plan on keeping this in my skincare routine for life, lol. The Galactomyces Niacin from Manyo Factory Its an essence that I love. It claims to improve skin texture, trouble control, and brightener. I have to say, it really does! I've been using it for about two weeks, every night after my toner and I like how my skin looks and feels every morning. I noticed a brightening effect right the next morning, after I first used it. The reason I only use it at night it's because the essence has a mixture of oil and at the same time a water texture, so I prefer to use it at night before bed, and follow with my regular skin regimen during the day. Also, I like that it has help reducing the time of some blemishes, and pigmentation. Plus, it has no scent a to it, and absorbs fast into the skin. I put this on directly after cleansing, which may not have been the best idea as it stung for a minute or two. Afterwards, my skin was totally fine but I’m going to chalk that up to my own user error. The serum’s consistency was much more watery that I expected it to be. Although once it was on, it felt thicker on my face and took a few minutes to complete sink in, if that make sense. There was virtually no scent to this. The main ingredients- niacin amide and galactomyces are intended to help skin improve texture, even skin tone/pigmentation and hydrate skin. I intend to continue using this serum to see how my skin improves over time. I think I will incorporate this into my evening routine. My immediate observation is that my skin felt firmer and “plump” after using this. The overall consistency of my skin looked smooth and even. Overall, this product has a following and I can see why. I love fermented products. My skin love fermented products. I want to try every fermented product out there. So when 0.8L_usa  offered Manyo Factory Special Treatment Essence with Niacin, I watched it like a hawk. Plus I've always wanted to try this brand. I categorized this under an FTE. So I actually stopped the SK-II during this time. I was able to test this out a generous 2 weeks! If you do reviews for 0.8L you know that is a ton of time. However, this is still a first impressions post since I think some of the effects will become manifest with time. This comes in a generous 50 ml dropper bottle. The dropper seems to go all the way down the bottom. Inside, it's a thin, clear liquid not quite watery. Didn't detect any scent. This is made of a whopping 97% Galactomyces Ferment Filtrate, 2% of Niacinamide, Zanthoxylum Piperitum Fruit Extract, Pulsatilla Koreana Extract, Usnea Barbata (Lichen) Extract, Hamamelis Virginiana (Witch Hazel) Extract, Hyaluronic Acid. That is fermentation heaven. It claims to hydrate, brighten skin and improve skin texture. So how did it perform? I am not using any other product for brightening since I'm still off the vitamin C. I myself is hard pressed to gauge the brightening effects but during the two weeks I've been using this, it adequately maintained whatever skin brightness and eveness of tone that I have. I don't have any PIH but Mr. Notskinobsessed does. He's had this for months now, partly because he picks. He used this intermittently throughout these 2 weeks. And lo and behold! The PIH is actually significantly fading! It's at least 50-60% lighter (swipe for pics. Sorry I don't have before pics so you'll just have to trust me on this one). Even he noticed how much lighter it is. Actually, why he kept on intermittently using it is because he saw a difference. This is coming from a guy who could care less.  But he was inspired by the fading and actually asked if he can use some more of it. This hydrated very well boosting my hydration level 5x the baseline of dry, based on Wayskin. It actually gives a bit of a glow after application so it addresses issues of dullness. Since stopping the vitamin C, I had textural issues. Not sure if this had an impact on that, I'm leaning towards not. Overall, I thought this was a fantastic product.  I was amazed how well it has lightened hubby's PIH and I was happy how well it hydrated my skin. This really gives stiff competition to my beloved SK-II but I would need a few more weeks and likely side to side comparison. So I’m excited that some of their products have been available via 0.8L. Their products are formulated to work with #sensitiveskin while also being a reasonable mid-range price. # This thin, watery essence is similar to an #FTE or first treatment essence. It acts like a booster, so it provides a few results itself but also helps other products work. It’s used early in the routine after toner & claims to tighten pores, even skin tone, fight pigmentation, brighten & soothes irritation. That’s a lot of claims! # The star products, ferments & #niacinamide, also help soften & smooth skin for me. As someone who doesn’t use chemical exfoliants much, if ever, I tend to notice minor changes! So how did this compare to other #firsttreatmentessences I’ve tried? # First let me say that I’ve only been using this for about 2 weeks. I’ve used it in my AM & PM #skincareroutine after toner. The thin formula makes it easy to apply. It also sinks in easily. This essence doesn’t have a scent, which is great when others like SKII were tough to use b/c the ferment scents were so intense 😂 # I’ve been really enjoying this FTE. My skin has been soft & I haven’t had any texture issues while using it. I’d say the results are compatible to the last Missha formula, which I really liked. I was only able to use this for a week and typically I used it at night. I kept my routine simple and avoided using any new products during that week just so I could see if there would be any difference in my skin. Let’s first talk about the product itself. It comes in a 50ml glass bottle with a dropper that bends slightly at the end. The essence was virtually odorless which I love and tend to prefer with my skincare products. As for the consistency, it is very runny as you can see in the short video but it also has quite a slip to it that reminds me of facial oils. Although it feels like an oil, it doesn’t perform the same way once it’s absorbed into the skin. Instead of my skin feeling slick and shiny like when I use something like squalane, this essence dries down to an almost matte finish that leaves my skin looking plump and hydrated. The main ingredients of galactomyces and niacinamide are claimed to help even skin tone, fight pigmentation, hydrate the skin and prevent inflammation. Obviously with only one week of testing, I can’t verify all these claims but I will say that my skin looks slightly brighter in the mornings and it does feel moisturized. It does have a 6 month expiration from the moment the bottle is opened, which is something to be mindful of when using this product. Galactomyces Niacin I like Niacin ingredient so I am eager to try out this product. Niacin works on anti-aging and acne prone skin. This product contains natural ingredients. I used it like an essence and it works great. It left my skin nourished and hydrated. Highly recommend this product.
