Recently, I was able to procure the Cicago Cica Double Effect Ampoule at a trial rate in exchange for my honest review. The Cicago Cica Double Effect Ampoule is a bi-phase liquid ampoule that is targeted towards people with hypersensitive skin. The ampoule promises to revitalize and brightening skin while also repairing damaged skin, reduce redness, and signs of irritation. Which fulfills all my acne prone skin’s needs. The Cicago Cica Double Effect Ampoule comes packaged in an easy-to-use sturdy frosted plastic bottle with a glass dropper. Unfortunately, the packaging is all in Korean but the bottle had English on it that describes the company and product in brief. The Cicago Cica Double Effect Ampoule contains many natural extracts and is free of parabens, mineral oils, synthetic coloring, and chemical preservatives to cater to people with hypersensitive skin. Since the Cicago Cica Double Effect Ampoule is a bi-phase liquid ampoule, you need to gently shake it up before using it. The ampoule has a nice texture where it is not too viscous or liquid-y. It only took about 4 drops to cover my entire face. The ampoule was easy to apply and had a refreshing feeling on the skin. It took a little bit of time for the ampoule to absorb into the skin but it absorbed with very little to no stickiness. (I think this depended on the other products I was using in rotation with it). In fact, it had a slight mattifying effect on my skin (most times). The Cicago Cica Double Effect Ampoule has a light citrusy scent that dissipated over a little bit of time. There was a noticeable change in my skin especially a change in coloration and specifically a reduce in redness. The Cicago Cica Double Effect Ampoule is very hydrating and aided in making my skin look healthier. While the Cicago Cica Double Effect Ampoule is not a miracle worker, it still yielded quite positive results and I saw some benefits from using the product. I would definitely recommend the The Cicago Cica Double Effect Ampoule for someone with hypersensitive skin or acne prone skin.

It came in a glass bottle with dropper. The liquid seems like it has 2 parts, so shake it before use to blend them together. Eventhough it looked green, but when I use the dropper it looked transparant like clear watery liquid serum. There was a very nice & faint fresh scent which gone away super fast. I've got a sudden breakout & since I still got a day left to review, rather than writing the "can't see the soothing effect because I had no breakout", I decided to see how far can this CICAGO go in just a one time application.   I used 2 drops & spread it evenly on my face. But for the 1 day breakout, I used 3 drops & put more in the red areas. The ampoule was very light & fast absorbing, it left my skin feeling smooth & hydrated with a satin finish. As for the 1 day sudden breakout try, it help calm my blemishes while giving them the needed hydration. (Really sorry for the inconsistent lighting of the before-after picture. Since it was a sudden inspiration, I guess I mess it up).

Time for yet another review, this time of the Cica Double Effect Ampoule. This ampoule has a light citrus scent and soaks into the skin easily. The product needs to be shook as it has two different types of oils in it that separates. The ampoule’s main ingredient is squalene, which promises to brighten skin. A bi-phase serum that is packed with Centella Asiatica Extract and is formulated specifically for sensitive skin, SIGN ME UP! 〰️ Cicago’s Cica Double Effect Ampoule was yet another @0.8l_usa product I couldn’t resist! (Somebody stop me already!) According to the brand, this is a revitalizing and brightening serum created not only to repair and strengthen a weakened skin barrier (thanks to Centella Asiatica Extract and Panthenol), but to also to hydrate (Squalane) and brighten dark spots (Arbutin and Licorice Root Extract). 〰️ The cool thing about this product is that it’s bi-phase, meaning it comes in two layers! As you can see in the photo there’s a clear layer on top (the oil) and a green layer on the bottom (the serum). A quick shake of the bottle mixes these great ingredients together and, voilà, it’s ready to be applied! The consistency is water-like, though very nourishing due to the oil, and absorbs instantly! (Thanks to how lightweight this is, it would certainly suit all skin types!) Immediately after applying, my skin feels smooth and nourished. This is the @Cicago_official Cica Double Effect Ampoule from @0.8l_usa getting a first impressions review! ~ FIRST IMPRESSIONS This is a pale mint green liquid ampoule that has a faint herbal scent. The ampoule has a few oils in it that separate out (swipe to see a photo) and so this requires shaking prior to use. It claims to help balance moisture, brighten, reduce irritation, and give skin a healthy glow. I’ve used this over the past week and I like it so far. A little goes a long way with this, I only use 2 drops for my face and another 2 for my neck and chest. You need to shake this before using and you can see the little oils drops suspended in the liquid in the dropper. The bottle has a frosted finish so you can’t see them through it. I like the dropper but would prefer if the dropper had an angled tip. It absorbs pretty well and I’ve found this to be very hydrating to my dry skin and that it does leave me with a glow. As for the other claims, I haven’t seen much difference in redness reduction or any brightening yet. Cicago’s Cica Double Effect Ampoule . This is the first ampoule I’ve tried that requires to shake to mix the two layers together before use. In the second photo, you can clearly see there is an oil layer at the top of the rest of the watery ampoule. . This product claims to balance your skin’s moisture, aids in repairing damage from daily aggressors, helps reduce irritation & redness all the while deeply hydration your skin. The Arbutin ingredient also offers brightening effects; lightening dark spots and overall skin tone. . This ampoule has a nice and light citrus scent to it. It blends out seamlessly and absorbs quite nicely into my skin. I was surprised it did not leave me looking oily due to the oil layer in the product; it left me with a nice glow. . Although the claims are wonderful, I saw minimal brightening. Perhaps it needs long term use to see that effect. However, I did like the glow and hydration it gave me. For $39 for this 30ml bottle, I found it’s a bit on the steep end for my liking, since it’s currently only providing me decent hydration. I don’t have any irritations in my skin so I can’t attest to those claims. Other than that, it’s a decent product. . CicaGo Cica Double Effect Ampoule 🍋 This product is marketed as a moisturizing and brightening serum that helps repair your skin and combat irritation. The ampoule contains squalane (aka squalene), which is naturally found in your skin oil. Squalane in skincare helps to lock in moisture to help prevent fine lines and dry patches, which I suffer from a lot. It also contains willow bark extract, which can help stimulate new cell formation. 🍋 The packaging and color of this product really caught my eye because it's so beautiful and I love using this in the morning because there is a light citrus scent that smells amazing! Since it's two layers that you have to shake to combine, I was worried that the ampoule would be very oily, but as you can see from the second picture, it's quite light and soaks into the skin well. After application, my skin look brighter and doesn't feel as dry. I really like this product and I would recommend trying it out!(:

CICA-GO Cica Double Effect Ampoule (courtesy of @0.8L_USA) This is a CICA (Centella asiatICA ) product, but in an ampoule liquid form. To me, the name double effect has two meanings with this product ~ it helps calm and hydrate your skin, and it has a double layer ~ if you look at the photo carefully, you can see there is a separation of oil from watery liquid in this ampoule. It has squalane and macadamaia oil for deep moisturization, arbutin and licorice for brightening, BHA willow bark extract for unclogging pores and removing excess oil and dirt, neem extracts for blemish control, centella for soothing and repairing. This also has sericin, which is silk protein, so it is not vegan - this is an antioxidant. You do have to shake this bottle up before applying otherwise you will get an oily residue, which is not what you really want. . . It has a light citrus herbal scent and once shaken, it has a very watery texture that absorbs quickly into my skin, leaving no greasy residue behind. It provides a lot of moisture too ~ an increase of 36% in hydration and a decrease of 35% in oils ~ so it does keep my skin hydrated and balanced. Does it calm my skin down? Reduce redness? Honestly, I couldn't tell ~ I used it daily for a couple of weeks, and I didn't notice anything other than the moisturization of this ampoule. I didn't notice that it helped reduce blemishes or redness. I can't say no when someone offers up an ampoule, so you know I grabbed this Cica ampoule as a $3.99 Try Now item from @0.8l_usa. This was a bi-phase ampoule, which was new to me. You need to give it a good shake, but you could still see the oil drops in the ampoule, I couldn't get a good photo of it. This ampoule was like an ampoule and an facial oil in one. So, while I like facial oil, this one left a very slight oily residue on my skin. My serums usually still went on and absorbed well though, so it wasn't an issue for me. However, because of the texture, I only used this product at night. While I had some irritation, thus ampoule didn't seem to have any extreme soothing effects like some Cica products do. It did give my skin good moisture and helped with basic dry skin patches. I do not know what the normal sale price of this is, but unless it was extremely affordable, I probably would pass on it. I have become a little picky on ampoule. This was not a bad product at all, but it didn't do enough to impress me. I will continue using to see if something comes from using long term that changes my mind.

I've loved everything I've tried from the brand. They focus on effective naturally sourced ingredients to create products that are gentle, repairing & moisturizing. The serum is an inviting Spring-like green color packaged in a very pretty frosted glass dropper bottle. The texture of the it is runny & the contents need shaking as the ingredients separate into 2 layers when sitting idle for even a moment. The focus of the ingredients is twofold- 1) Centella Asiatica & other rich botanical extracts to repair, support & soothe the moisture barrier and 2) Arbutin, Willow bark & Licorice root to help brighten dark spots & reveal skin's natural glow. Due to the sorta oily nature of the product, I prefer to use it in the evenings following actives. One definite "con" for me with this serum is the fact that it always needs to be shaken just prior to applying. When I get to the serum stage, I like to set up all my bottles & "go!" because my hands get all slimy with the serumy stuff so this one little bottle is just a pain because I have to stop, shake it & get it open with slimy hands. I just really wish there was a better way. Ugh. But other than that, it's SUPER!! 🎉 I use about 5 drops which sink in like pronto. I know with a complex of ingredients like this I should expect to see brightening effects but 2+ weeks with it is just too premature to tell. I can see in the short term that it is giving my skin a healthy, moisturized glow. The serum retails at $39 for a 30ml bottle which is on par for the Isoi brand. Their items are great quality & highly effective so I'm able to cost justify it. This serum is very good in & of itself but the separating factor kinda drives me nuts so I'm little torn on whether or not I would repurchase. I like this product it was hydrating and fast absorbing, I have incorporated this ampoule to my skin routine after I use a toner, I haven't noticed much change aside from the hydration. The package is very adequate for use and to help with contamination of the product it self.

When I use it after three layers of toner, it does take longer to absorb but when it does, my skin isn't tacky or shiny, but slightly soothed and maybe more even-toned. . It's difficult to see if it did anything for skin irritation/blemish during the short time I've tried the product. This is a light slightly viscous serum that's lovely lime green tint that doesn't tint skin with a very light citrus scent that absorbs into skin quickly, leaving a slight glow and sheen without being tacky or greasy. It also layers well with other skincare and makeup without piling. I have been using this both am and pm to calm and hydrate my skin after actives. I've noticed a great reduction in redness after applying as well as a reduction in sensitivity. I do feel this leaves my skin brighter and more hydrated. Upon waking my skin looks and feels soothed, bright and hydrated with no redness or irritation. I also use after shaving or doing eyebrows to ward off any irritation, redness, inflammation or pimples with great result.
