The Real Barrier line is formulated for dry and sensitive skin. The goal is to reinforce and support the skin's natural barrier. This holds moisture in and keeps irritants and pollutions out. Key ingredients are Ceramides, Hyaluronic Acid, Squalane, Panthenol, Allantoin, Madecassoside. I was very excited to try a spray on essence. When I first got this it had the perfect mist spray. In less than a week the sprayer messed up. Now it squirts out in 1 hard spray and isn't working right at all. When the sprayer was working I used this morning and night as a facial mist between steps in my routine. I was enjoying using it like that. It added a nice layer of hydration without being heavy or greasy. It is. white liquid thet feels a bit more slippery than water. It has a light, almost herbal scent. Once the sprayer broke I started using it at night as the essence in my routine. It seems to be working well there. It sinks in quickly and my other products apply well over it. It leaves my face feeling soft and hydrated. I was much happier with it when I was able to use it as a facial mist. It fit really nicely in my routine using it like that. I don't know if I got a bad bottle or if the essence is just too thick to be sprayed on like that. I will continue to use this essence in conjunction with the Real Barriet cream and toner that I've also received. The nozzle is a tad strong so I normally spray it into my palm before dabbing it onto my face. The essence itself has a mild herbal scent. It’s really difficult to choose a favorite Atopalm product, but this one is definitely a worthy contender! A lot of face mists help hydrate my face temporary, but I feel like this one keeps my face stay hydrated for a longer period of time, especially in the winter. (In the warmer months, a lightweight refreshing mist will do just fine, but not during the drier months!) I love the innovative dual-layered concept that you shake before using to make sure you get both the hydration and nourishment from this mist! I guess most/typical mists are what you would call single-layer, which provides the hydration factor but feel lacking in maintaining that hydration. This doesn’t mean that this Atopalm mist is heavy or greasy; in fact, somehow it still feels lightweight and doesn’t leave any shine at all. Double cleansing this morning because someone😒 forgot to wash their face last night. I have been wanting to try the @banilacousa clean it zero balm for so long! I was fourtunate enough to win this beauty and it's all I dreamed of and more! I love cleansing balms! They remove eye and face makeup better and more gently than anything else and without drying out my skin. There are a few that I love such as @farmacybeauty @clinique @elemis but they're so expensive and perform the same! This one is so affordable that I could buy one in every formula and it would still be cheaper! 🌼 @renskincareus kills it when it comes to skincare. There isnt a product I've tried that I haven't 100% loved! 🌼 The Real Barrier Essence Mist is leaving me a bit confused. Is it an essence?...Is it a facial mist? I dunno 🤷🏻‍♀️ It has double layers so you shake to mix the 2 then spray..the sprayer on this is not very fine so unless you want a straight hard shot to the face, I would suggest spraying into your hands then applying to your face. [0.8L Review] . . Since @0.8l_usa failed to respond to my 2 attempts for extension because I just received this 2 days ago and my review is due in few hours. Hence, this will be my first impression review. . [Product] @atopalmusa Real Barrier Essence Mist. . [What it Claims] Provides 24 hour hydration and nourishment while MLE real barrier formula strengthens weakened skin barrier. This product claims to be suitable for dry skin and senstive skin. . [First Impression] I tried a sample months back and remember liking it. So when @0.8l_usa opened this campaign with trial fee I did not hesitate. . I wouldn't say this is a "mist" in fact it's misleading. It is more of a milky essence in a mist form. It does not settle well over makeup and it does take a long time before the product is absorbed. I prefer my mist to have more finer application but this Essence Mist feels more like a dollar store water spray bottle. . I take my mist products pretty seriously. I have dry skin all year around and mist is a way for me to get a hydration boost through out the day. Yup, I'm not impressed with this product's applicator. . I tried this product twice, I tried it over my makeup and I felt it just sat on top of my makeup making my skin feel heavy. I tried it last night during my PM routine after a toner and this is probably a way I would recommend and prefer. . I loved the cleansing oil balm so I was definitely looking forward to trying out this mist! However I can’t say I was pleasantly surprised. It smells nice and it’s definitely moisturizing. Since I have sensitive skin, this may be a great must but I’m a bit disappointed by the size of the mist particles. It shoots droplets at you and for me being used to the tiny mist particles (micro particles), this one kind of surprised me. The pressure of the mist is pretty strong and it wets parts of my face rather than an even distribution of moisture.

Another great product by the brand Real Barrier. I absolutely love the cleansing balm and this *Real Barrier Essence Mist is no different. I love that their products are paraben free, fragrance free, and no artificial colors. It's for dry and sensitive skin, boast a 10 Non-Added formula, and dermatologist tested. It's just a great clean product. It has the MLE skin barrier function that all of their products have. If you have a compromised skin barrier you may want to consider this brand. This essence mist is super hydrating and has the same citrus scent of the balm that I really love. I did a heavy exfoliation on my skin today and used this afterwards and it felt so soothing and comforting. I use this in my routine after my toner. I love to use this throughout the day if my skins needs some extra hydration. It's the perfect size to throw in my handbag! Just make sure to shake before using. This mist just does it's job so nicely and I really love it. The only negative thing that I can say is that I wish it sprayed better than what it does. It sprays out too hard and goes everywhere instead in a fine mist. I just spray it in my hands and pat it into my skin instead. I would highly recommend this product. I received this from 0.8L for a trial fee in exchange for an honest review. # This mist is described as a lightweight, bi-phase essence mist that’s easily absorbed. The brand claims it imparts a 24 hour moisture shield & also calms the skin. As someone with dry, #sensitiveskin you can see why I was quick to sign up for this campaign! # The ingredient list is pretty short for a mist & includes panthenol, madecassoside & allantoin for soothing, and hyaluronic acid for moisturization & a patented ingredient called MLE to help strengthen the skin barrier. The formula has a light pleasant scent that dissipates quickly. # I used this in both AM & PM routines for about 10 days for testing. It was placed in a variety of places within my #skincare routine to see how it layered with other products. I found that it was very tacky to the touch after application, but once it dries down that reduced quite a bit. The bottle produces a strong mist, so I prefer to hold it far from my face to achieve a finer effect. The only downside is that it feels like I waste more product that way. # Mists are a category that I generally don’t get too fired up about, to be honest, and this one continues my thoughts of them: a nice option that didn’t knock my socks off. It didn’t sting, which is great & was otherwise pleasant enough. I’m hoping with continued use, I’ll see more results in the skin barrier! I'm loving this Real Barrier Essence Mist. As we get deeper into the winter, I have noticed my skin has become more dry. The mist has become a welcome addition to my skincare routine. A few spritzes after toner and before my serum and moisturizer has made a big difference. My skin feels more hydrated and has a radiance to it. I love that the essence is in a spray bottle, which means no wasted product from overapplying. I will admit that there was a few occasions that I was overzealous with the amount I sprayed, but there's a lot left. The mist is lightweight and absorbs quickly. I do detect a faint spa like smell but it's nothing offensive and shouldn't be an issue to those sensitive to smells. The most important thing is that I experienced no itching, burning, or adverse reactions. Wow! So I have to say I was very pleased with this product! it really does what it says! I love that it's in a convenient spray bottle. the mister is not as fine as I would have liked, but I still really enjoy it. The instructions say to make sure you shake the bottle first and avoid the eye area. It's very moisturizing and lasting! It leaves a little bit of a sticky residue at first, but does settle into your skin after a little while. I didn't mind at all. I found myself really enjoying using it at night right before bed. I woke up with my skin feeling so plump and fresh! this product does contain some natural acids. Always remember to use sunscreen if you're spending any time outdoors when using acids and these ingredients cause photosensitivity and increase the chance of sun damage. Big thumbs up! Loved it!

It accomplishes this with a slew of beneficial ingredients, while also avoiding 10 ingredients known to be harmful to dry and sensitive skin. This is an essence, not a toner ~ so expect it to be thicker than your normal toning mist sprays. In fact, it comes out a milky white and a little thicker than water. This contains so many nourishing and moisturizing ingredients ~ hyaluronic acid and a patented dual ceramide formula to help bind water to skin and mimic the skin’s natural lipid barrier, squalane, phytosterols and vitamin E. You probably know by now how much I like to layer my skincare, so I was very interested in trying this hydrating essence mist, especially since it came in a spray bottle, making it super easy and quick to use . This Real Barrier Essence Mist claims to help relieve dry skin and keep hydrated with hyaluronic acid. It also claims to strengthen the skin barrier while soothing and protecting with ceramides, panthenol, madecassoside, and allantoin. I enjoyed using this and keep it in the bathroom so I can use it during my first skincare steps after cleansing my face. This is not the finest mist I have ever used, but it was not a problem and seemed to distribute the essence evenly. It absorbed quickly, was not greasy, and did not make my eyes burn. This is one of those essences with a combination of oil and a water base. But this is not a bi-phase formula. Instead this formula has Sorbitan Stearate, which is an emulsifier. So the oils are emulsified, creating a lightweight milky solution. I love that because I still get a heavy does of hydration without feeling oiliness on my skin. . So the ingredient list is impressive. It really is. . 🍀As the name suggests, the main claim by the brand is Repairing skin barrier. Other than providing long lasting moisture, this is claimed to be soothing and calming. . 🍀This essence has a unique trademarked ingredient called Myristiyl/Palmitoyl Oxostearmide/Arachamide Mea. Yeah I wouldn't dare pronouncing that either 😂. Also called MLE is short. Much better 🤣. This is a barrier Repairing ingredient. . . 🌻First of all what is skin barrier? Skin barrier consists of dead skin cells and lipids in between cells. This is the outermost layer of the skin, or the stratum corneum. The structure of the stratum corneum is like a brick wall. The water loving corneocytes are the bricks and water repelling lipids are the mortar. The lipids in Stratum corneum is different from that of other biological membrane. It is made up with 3 components. That is, long chain ceremides, free fatty acids and cholesterol. . Barrier serves many purposes. 1) To hold water in. Make sure water won't evaporate. 2) to keep irritants, allergens and other foriegn particles away. Basically to act as a sheild. 3) Sustain skin's immunity and regulates inflammation. . 🍀When our skin barrier is impaired, we might experience redness, irritation, breakouts, rashes, broken capillaries, dryness, tightness and all the good stuff 🙄🙄🙄. I’m kinda am really liking this Real Barrier essence Mist. Especially that’s it’s made for dry sensitive skin and made with Natural ingredients. I have found it to be a thicker mist-more than just a fine spray as stated. It comes out as a light white color and has a light scent to it that disappears quite fast. It has a great cooling feeling when applied. I have been using this a couple times a day not just on any morning and nightly routines just because these Illinois winters can be so rough on the skin. Face,Hands,neck even feet what ever appropriate part of the body is feeling dry Retailing at $16.00 a bottle I don’t feel is that bad to keep you skin hydrated. And did I mention it absorbs really nicely with no greasy ness at all. I would pay the retail to feel hydrated threw out the day and even the night apposed to feeling completely dried out and trust me I have used this plenty of times threw the night.
