This is specially formulated with a bifida recovery complex that makes the skin more luminous, firmer, and smoother. I initially thought that it would be more of an oily feel, but it is so light that it's like applying water. They are both targeted for anti-aging. First of all, it's water free unlike Estee Lauder. Second, it has no synthetic dyes or frangrance which are also in the night repair. This is the first essence that I have tried and mistakenly thought that was a serum. The consistency of this essence is quite runny but at the same time is not too watery like a toner. There is no fragrance or perfume for what I can tell. The essence is contained in a hard glass bottle with a dropper, which it makes it easier to control the amount of essence that will be used. In my own experience, the first time that I used this essence, my face turned out red and it appeared a random pimple on the side of my face***... so my skin reacted with the essence and I was disappointed but that didn't stop me for using one more time. Since I had high hopes for the second time my face was not red and no pimples, but still I did not see any major improvements. Until the third time, I started to notice that my pores were shrinking and my skin was soft and firmer to the touch. *** I have a combination skin and I used 6 drops on my skin on the first time when I used the essence. I believe that it was too much and that's what it causes a pimple to appear on my face because it was clogging my skin and not absorbing really well. Twice a day after cleansing and toning, dispense a few drops in your palms and apply to your face by pressing with your hands for better absorption. You can also mix a few drops in with your favorite moisturizer prior to application. It's been awhile since I reviewed something by @manyofactory_official and tonight it's their Bifidalacto complex serum. It has a lot of bacterial (bifidobacteria and lactobacill) and even yeasty (galactomyces) goodness within. . . . It has no added fragrance or color and I can't really detect much of a scent from the ingredients. Texture wise it's pretty watery but has a touch of oiliness and leaves a tacky finish. At first I thought it might have some oil in it but when I looked at the ingredients(which are listed below) I saw none, but it does have glycerol and I wonder if maybe there's a little too much in the formula 🤔🤔🤔 . . . As for what it does, so far I'm only getting a fairly rich hydrating layer, as I've only used it for a couple weeks. Altho based on the brightening ingredients like Niacinamide and Galactomyces Ferment it should brighten over time.
