You may have seen my previous reviews for Isntree's volcanic clay mask and eye cream. Today I'd like to tell you about their new Green Tea Fresh Toner, which I scored for free on 08Liter.com. They also included a generous array of samples of other products. As many of us with fair skin know, alchohol-based toners can sting or even cause burns. I have struggled to find a gentler alternative that still does a good job removing excess sebum. I have combo skin so it's also important that the toner I use is balancing. Otherwise I brake out and flake at the same time, and that's not a cute look. As it turns out, green tea is an excellent solution because not only will it gently tone the skin, it's also rich in antioxidants and vitamin C. Plus it's a natural anti-inflammatory! You seriously can't ask for more in a toner. I've been using it in the mornings and after workouts and I'm quite pleased with my results. I have been on quite the toner kick lately. Does this happen to anyone else—you get super into a type of product for a few months (I.E. toner, serum, etc) and then move on to the next category? Well I do, and this current phase is toners. This one had a light herbal smell to it. It was very refreshing and does have a brownish hue to it. This is probably due to the fact that it has tea extracts. The product didn’t irritate me at all and absorbed quickly without leaving residue. This definitely has soothing properties to it, and will be great for the summer months. Thank you to 0.8L for sending this in exchange for my honest review.

I was chosen by 08L to review this product and for the past week have been using this after cleansing and I really enjoy it. This toner is from an overseas brand called ISN Tree and retails for $18. This specific green tea toner is made of 80% Green Tea Extract. Helps brighten complexion with help from naturally occurring Vitamic C in Green TeaTannins. Helps reduce sebum and remove dead skin cells. Naturally anti-inflammatory and also contains humectants to aide in hydration like Hyaluronic Acid. This product really does not have a scent to me and does not feel as hydrating as other toners I have used but my skin does feel extremely soft after use. I would definitely recommend this product to others.

I received this toner from #08liter Try Now Campaign to review. I was pleasantly surprised that this toner doesn't have a smell. Most have some kind of smell but not this one. It's a watery liquid with a brown/yellow tint. It helped get the dirt and makeup out of pores after cleansing. It also absorbs really quick. I haven't been using this toner for long but so far I like it. My skin doesn't seem to be as oily as normal. My skin is hydrated, soft and looks better. This is a true first impressions review because I just opened this and my review is due. I asked for an extension but was denied so here's my first thoughts. This is a brown watery toner with a faint scent of green tea. I did three skins in my evening routine tonight and it absorbs well and doesn't leave a tacky feel. My sensitive skin didn't react poorly and feels hydrated. I look forward to using this more so I can form a full opinion. I got this from #08l for review purposes, opinion is mine.

My package arrived way later than it was supposed to so I didn't get to try this green tea toner more days before writing my review but with the times I used it it did a great job at cleaning my skin. It doesn't have a strong scent so that's great if you don't like having your face smelling before it tries it has a good scent. It has a brownish color when putting into a cotton ball so that was different instead of being clear. When applying on my face it absorbs really fast and doesn't feel oily or anything. The end results for me would be that I feel my face really soft and clean.

The ISNT Green Tea Fresh Toner leaves my skin feeling, clean hydrated and soft. I use it in the morning before putting my makeup on and at night after I cleanse my skin from having makeup on the entire day. I love that the toner cleanses my skin gently, doesn’t sting and is easily absorbed in my skin. I also love that it completely removes any impurities that doesn’t get removed from simply washing my face. After a week of using this toner, I noticed that my face isn’t as oily as it used too. It’s made from Jeju Green Tea , Gingko Biloba, Willow Bark, Blueberry Fruit, Evening Primrose, Hydrolized Hyaluronic Acid and so many other great ingredients that would help maintian a smooth, healthy, and younger looking complexion! This is my first time using a green tea toner and I like that it doesn't have a strong scent, it really has no scent at all. I used this product after cleaning my face with my normal cleanser and finished with this. I have been using it for a week now and have noticed that my skin isn't as greasy as it usually is this product applies on clear and smooth so not too much I can really complain about!!

After receiving this Green Tea Fresh Toner it has been leaving my skin hydrated and soft. it's a great morning and night toner to use and doesn't have any smell. a little bit goes a long way!!! great overall product!!

I have been using Isntree green tea toner for about a week now and dont know what I ever did without it!! it makes my skin look and feel so much smoother! it doesn't dry out my face at all! If anything its moisturizing! It quickly absorbs and dries! I love it and will continue using it!! I also love the label and how clean and classy the bottle looks!

I love Korean toners, especially ones with more hydrating and active ingredients. It's only day 1 for this Isntree toner, so I can't give a definitive review. Unfortunately today is the last day I can post a review, so here I am. The packaging has a nice weight and feel. The darker color toner threw me off since I'm so used to clear ones. The toner absorbs fast, but it's not as hydrating as my other essence/toner hybrids. This is definitely geared towards oily, combination skin.

The green tea fresh toner from brand ISA Tree contains Jeju green tea extract and anti sebum P(HD) ingredients to soothe skin, manage excess sebum and keep skin clean. Jeju Province is one of South Korea’s nine provinces and is the nation’s largest island. The island is known for cultivating fields of green tea with chestnut flavors and hints of vegetal notes. How to use: after cleansing the skin, apply the a small amount of toner to a cotton pad and wipe the skin allowing the skin to absorb the product. The packing includes caution for use information including: 1. Consult a doctor if red spots, swollen skin, itch, or other skin stimulation’s occur from applying product or sun exposure. 2. Do not apply on wounded areas 3. Keep out of reach from infants 4. Keep out of direct sunlight I incorporated the product in my morning and night skin routine as a toner gently swiping it on my facial skin after I’ve cleansed my face. 👏 Pros: the product does not contain a strong fragrance. Instead, there is a hint of an herbal smell often associated with the smell of tea. When applied to the cotton pad the product displayed a brown color which contributed to the legitimacy of actual tea components that have been infused into the toner. The toner was fast absorbing and didn’t exhibit any signs of irritation on the skin. The remnants of the toner left the skin feeling smooth and clean. 👎🏻 Cons: I didn’t find any cons for this product. It fully met my expectations and lived up to its claims of smoothing and cleansing the skin. I plan to keep this product as a continuous use in my morning and night skin regimen.

So pretty much if you looked up toner in the dictionary it would tell you that it is an astringent liquid applied to the skin to reduce oiliness and improve the condition of your skin. Toner is supposed to bring your skin back to normal and the acidic state sweeping impurities away and helping your skin absorb your skin care. So basically toner is like primer for your skin care. Toners have been around since the 1900s. They were mostly made up of alcohol in the beginning making them very harsh better known as astringents. Early beauty lovers we're all about the importance of toning, stimulating, or freshening the skin. Those days they would cleanse their skin and follow up with a skin tonic, skin freshener, or an astringent. A couple of the very first companies that toner emerged from came from Coty Eau De Cologne and Elizabeth Arden and some even in the 90s would just be pure alcohol and dry your skin out so bad the teens believed this to be a miracle product if they had acne. So there are all kinds of toners, the secret is finding one that's right for you. They have came a long way to be very beneficial for your skin depending on what your needs are. I've always loved toner because I feel like it puts back all the important hydration back into my skin. Also I find the best way to use toners are with cotton pads since tissues disintegrate and cotton balls absorb product too much. Be very mindful after washing your face to go no longer than one minute after cleansing to put your toner on. Most molecules penetrate the skin better when it's wet. Some even do this 7 skin method from K Beauty but that's another story. Isntree is an awesome brand. After reviewing this I will give you my thoughts on the website and information they have to see if the claims match up instead of them telling me what I should know. I want to see what it does. REVIEW I think this product would benefit your skin by brightening tightening and smoothing your skin. Also if your sensitive to smells I didn't notice any with this and it played fair with my sensitive skin. Bottle looks clean and inviting with a brown see through bottle product but clear with a slight yellow tint. I got 6.76 fluid ounces . I also received a few samples from them along with the toner which was I thought was super sweet. Although I would love to review those it was not enough product to do so. In all honesty I really can't find any flaws with this product!! MY FIRST LOOK INSIDE Upon opening I see a liquid that's watery with a light brown/yellow tint. It doesn't say who it's for so I assumed this was for anyone and everyone. When asked how it feels I would say liquidy and it has no smell but on the skin it feels soothing and exfoliating like. I could literally feel dry skin come off. ANYTHING SPECIAL OR DIFFERENT FROM OTHERS? If I notice anything different with this product compared to others I would say I feel like it exfoliates and refreshes my skin while brightening, smoothing, and left my skin glowing, keep in mind I have not looked at the website yet at this point while writing. Does it stand out in the crowd? Yes, no matter how good I washed my face even with my Clarisonic, Green Tea Fresh Toner always picks up dirt and oil and remnants of makeup deep in my pores. It's dries quickly which I can appreciate especially when I'm tired and have other things to apply at night and exhausted. It plays very well with other skin care products, especially with a serum and moisturizer. If asked if I could feel a different since I've been using it I would say for the short amount of time my skin is super glowy,... so much and I'm almost mind boggled. Fits easily into my skincare routine. It's not heavy, it's easy to use and has no wear and tear since I've been using it. The amount you may need is very adjustable since it has a plastic stopper causing it not to go too slow or too fast.   My first thoughts when using this since I did it on the back of my hand was how much it brightened my skin. if there's anything I would say to do with this, I would say to use a moisturizer and a serum with it for full potential and don't forget to use it!! I may try to update long-term on this since I've only used for about 2 weeks but since then I've only used maybe a quarter of an ounce in in about 2 weeks.   RANDOM A different way to use this, my fave, making a facial spray for summer because it feels amazing on skin especially when placed in the refrigerator, although most people would forget to use it if they did that. It doesn't seem like it would leak and would be pretty good to travel with. It feels like it's made of a sort of soft plastic with a screw-on lid and a piece of plastic with a stopper and a pour out hole that makes it controllable while using. PERMANENT? Do I feel like this is made a way permanently into my routine? YES! It's working so good during these super hot summer days (ARIZONA ) And it did amazing with my super sensitive skin. This makes me glow and I've gotten compliments on my skin lately ! SUMMARY In summary, Isntree Green Tea Fresh toner is great because of the results I've got in just a short amount of time. I really love when products smell good but can really appreciate that there's no scent because some people are very sensitive to that. Also this product did not make me break out or give me eczema. In my opinion before going to the site to see what claims there are I would say this is definitely worth the money if your looking for your skin to be oil controlled but still want your skin to glow. I would definitely buy this! Oily and combo skintypes would especially love this. THEIR CLAIMS/WEBSITE   So to find out this is for combo skin made so much sense. Honestly though for what it did to my combo/dry skin, I couldn't imagine what it would do for oily/combo!! I really think it makes my skin glow in a non greasy way and makes skin be smooth, clear and BEAUTIFUL. I learned it has green tea in it obviously but it controls access sebum in the skin while giving moisture that is needed to keep skin refreshed. The website talks a lot about green grade ingredients and they're great for acute and sensitive skin.      Comments on this.. I really love this for Summer months! Their website claims that it gives life and vitality to the skin with a refreshing touch with light texture that prevents greasiness by having anti sebum that reduces excess sebum giving moisture that is needed keeping skin refreshed. The green tea used in this product comes from Jeju which according to Isntree is the best place to grow it because of the climate, soils and harvest seasons. They're rich basaltic soils and neutral Bedrock water also helps. It is stated that the product may look dark due to tannin which is a natural phenomenon of green tea with high Purity and not to worry, it just differs per season. Supposed to very good to sensitive skin while helping stressed skin. They've even done a skin irritation test where they took people and placed product on the skin for 24 hours and placed a patch over it to find out reactions after 1 hour and up to 24 hours and tested skin with their "naked eyes". My comments-I wish this was a TAD more moisturizing. They also stayed that there's no animal testing💗, natural vegetable ingredients and heavy metal testing. Also their ingredient list is quite friendly, with at least 9 extracts and hydrolyzed hyaluronic acid, and beta-glucan. Notable ingredients would be vitamin C, tannin, polyphenol, Longleaf pine leaf extract, David Elm root extract, evening primrose extract, arrowroot extract,  pennywort extract, blueberry extract and allantoin. Comments- I LOVE these ingredients and feel special to be able to put them on my face. Also love the no testing of animals. States that they refer to the Cosmetics ingredients safety data produced buy a non-governmental environmental organization in Washington USA. So I'm very impressed with this product and yes I would definitely buy it and even trust it as a gift for my BFFS and FAM. Extras (Stuff from their website)   Since their tea is produced every year it may produce slightly different colors. The shelf life of this is 6 months upon opening. WRAP-UP Skincare is NOT a one size fits all, that's probably why I'm obsessed. This GREEN TEA FRESH TONER is amazing. The smell is actually pretty decent and nice clean scent. When you shake some of the toner onto your cotton pad it has a brownish yellowish color to it instead of it being a clear color like most toners. It applies nice on the face, absorbs quickly into your skin, doesn’t just sit on top of your skin. After using this toner my skin definitely feels clean and fresh. I love this produc.
