So I’ve tried the DesignSkin Slider Case before for my Samsung Galaxy s8. While I liked the idea of the product initially, I found that over time it was less than reliable because the sliding mechanism became loose and when my phone fell off the counter, the DesignSkin Slider Case wasn’t as protective as I thought because the screen to my phone shattered. So this time, when I was given the DesignSkin Slider Case for iPhone X to try for free in exchange for my honest opinion, I was a little apprehensive. The DesignSkin Slider Case for iPhone X arrive very quickly. I noticed that the DesignSkin company had changed the packaging slightly and seemed to be more slim (less cardboard, less plastic). The actual phone case is made of a hard plastic material where the case slides up to store your credit card and stiff rubber material where it snaps onto your phone. While I found it easy to store a card in the space allocated, it wasn't as easy to get the card out. The DesignSkin Slider Case for iPhone X can hold a couple emergency bills perfectly without snagging or anything when trying to slide the case up. The DesignSkin Slider Case for iPhone X is pretty sleek and fits the phone perfectly. There is a sensation of a “click” when you slide the case shut. There is a slight matte feeling to the case that makes it seem a little bit better for gripping but bare in mind it’s just texture and aesthetics and not really meant to be an added function of the DesignSkin Slider Case for iPhone X. All in all, so far the DesignSkin Slider Case for iPhone X has been pretty good and there seems to be some improvements made on the design since the Samsung Galaxy s8 DesignSkin Slider case. It’s hard to tell how reliable the DesignSkin Slider Case for iPhone X will be over time and I’m still really nervous that over time the case will be less reliable.

I was happy to get the color rose gold because that's the color of my iPhone. I was confused by looking up further details on this product though because it states that these are only compatible with iPhone 7 or 8 and I have a 6 and it seems to fit just fine. I love the skinniness of this case because I am not the type that likes anything bulky when it comes to cases. Typically I stick to my wallet but I think this is exceptionally important if I want to go somewhere without the hassle of carrying my purse around like going to the zoo for a day with my kids or my work. This would be wonderful for a college student to have. I do however think there should be more options in designs or colors but perhaps 0.8L didn't provide the full list of their designs and colors. I think the price is a great deal but I wonder just how protective this case can be judging its slim flexible feeling body. I haven't dropped it yet thankfully to see how it is shock proof or scratch proof so I can't comment on that yet.

I like that I can put two of my debit cards in the slots and just leave my purse in the car. The cards are held very firmly, so there is no need to worry about them falling out. I haven’t actually started using this yet. I however have checked it all over and it’s pretty neat with its secret card hiding place. It doesn’t come open just randomly, no matter how you hold it. Which I’m very happy about. This case is cool....I received the case in the Matte Rose color...The back slides up and comfortably fits 2 cards. It doesn’t add much bulk, and from the front it’s slim around the edges of the phone. Only complaint is the camera hole. It should have a wider angle, if there are smudges on your lens and the flash is on it causes an over lighted picture from the case. As long as the camera lens is clean than there’s no problems. Overall it’s a 4 out of 5 Stars ⭐️

I received a free slider phone case for the iPhone X made by Design Skin. This case has a slider on the back where you can store a couple of credit cards or your ID or whatever sort of card you need to carry with you. This case is matte black but they also come in either white or rose color. This company also makes a variety of other cases that look appealing. The packaging is nice and looks professional/ high end, not like those cheap $5 cases you see at places like Walmart. The quality of the case itself is also nice, it feels sturdy and seems as though it will protect the phone well. The card storage seems to fit just 2 cards, I was able to put a third in but the slider back started to pop up and seemed as though it might break so I think it would be best to only put in 2 cards. Also I wish the slider was a little smoother, it seems to get stuck on the edges of the case as you are sliding it making it somewhat tricky to open and close. When you try to shop through the Design Skin website it takes you to Amazon where these are selling for $19.99, I think that is a good price for these considering the quality. It is definitely worth the $20 but probably not much more as some features could be improved.

So I purchased a Lifeproof case when I bought an iPhone X, but since this case came, my phone has had a new home. I love the rose gold color of the case, how sturdy it is and definitely that I can slide a few cards in the case and be off. I especially like this when I run into Costco. I loved this cover!! Love the Matte Rose back. Super convenient to carry your ID, Money or Credit Card. All you do is slide the back part of the case. Has space for 2 cards to fit. I was chosen to try out this slider case for the IPhone X and I must say I’m really happy with the product overall. Really like how you can easily fit 2 cards/IDs in the back compartment and how discreet it is to the sight. All you need to carry anywhere you go is your phone...how easy is that! I myself don’t always like to carry wallets or any type of purse with me so this is very convenient. Very suitable for anyone who likes to carry super lightweight. The case it self works amazing and it’s heavy duty from I can tell you since it won’t break or crack when it falls. The slider part of the case is great I haven’t had any type of issues with it as far as it not closing properly or breaking. Definitely a must have in my book.

Cute sleek slider case. Easy to disguise your cards. Good for those quick errands around campus to places where you don’t want to carry a purse or wallet. Great for nights out. Just slide your ID/credit card and go. Not very durable. Would not use it for everyday use because I don’t think it would provide the protection needed for my iPhone.

I had an OtterBox on before and didn’t realize how bulky that made the phone until I put this case on. My phone is now sleek yet protected and much easier to manage. The sliding card case on the back was a little stiff when I opened it the first few times but it became easier after repeated use. You can fit 2 cards comfortably in the case. I love the color too. I got the rose color and got several complements on it today. Overall this is a much better design than I tried several months ago. This case is of way better quality and doesn’t feel cheap. I would definitely recommend this product and would buy it in different colors.
