🍓First Impressions: Dessert Table Very Moist Berry Recipe Lotion🍓 ⠀ The more products I use from this brand, the more I think that the products are aimed towards people with oilier skin rather than dry skin as the words "Very Moist" suggest. That's not to say that the products are bad; I'm actually really enjoying this emulsion! 😊 ⠀ This lotion comes in a plastic pump bottle that adorably looks like an old school milk bottle. The texture is fairly thin and the slightest bit milky. It actually feels more like a watery serum than an emulsion, and it sinks into my skin immediately. It smells the same as the cleanser and cream: lightly floral/soapy. ⠀ Ingredient highlights: niacinamide, meadowfoam seed oil, allantoin, and the brand's signature 5 berry extracts (raspberry, blueberry, cranberry, acai berry, and blackberry). I've uploaded the full list to Cosdna if you're interested. ⠀ I initially suspected that this product would be disappointing in the moisture department, but since summer seems to have come early, I've been enjoying this lighter layer. ⠀ This super light emulsion is great for warm weather because it absorbs really well and adds some hydration without feeling heavy at all. This item was never received. I have written to 0.8L multiple times to attest to this and In fact they have written back stating they had problems with shipping and were expecting items to go out and yet still I have received nothing and been placed on suspension despite also paying $3.99 to test out this product. At this juncture I had to write this blurb not only to clear my account but to share with you all some of the unprofessional behavior that is occurring on the 0.8L platform. . . The premise is fine, but the short timelines for review that I feel leave many reviewers writing poorly evidenced critiques many of which say “what a great product” without going in to depth about what makes them great. Placing members on suspension under arbitrary timelines set even when shipping shows zero transit. And poor response to communication. . . As you can see I’m pretty upset with 0.8L and I have written to them but here’s your warning as well. I feel badly toward the company because I could not give a positive review for a product I don’t have nor does the platform allow for s neutral review which I also think is a failing 😤😡😑

I’ve been eying @desserttable_official for a while because of their packaging. Saw it on @0.8l_usa and jumped on it. I got the lotion. It has a pretty heavy fruity scent. It’s probably too light but night time use for me. I like it as a day time moisturizer right before sunblock. It was probably too hyped for what it actually is but I still want to try their other products! Packing is superb!!

When 0.8L discussed this product on a live stream, I was game. I have tried other products in this line from 0.8L and loved them, so naturally I had to try this. This lotion did not disappoint. The packaging was slightly deceiving, it looks like a screw off top but actually has a pump once you open it. I prefer pumps to open tops so you don’t wind up with glops of extra product in your hands. This lotion will be perfect for the warmer, more humid months as it’s lightweight. It sunk into skin easily and had a faint fruity smell to it. Overall, a typical facial lotion but one I will continue to use in the summer months. The nutrient-rich 5 berry extracts tightens and minimizes the size of pores, and refreshes skin while providing intensive hydration. Main ingredients are berries and berries are very good antioxidants also berries are good for removing oxygen free radicals , promotes cytothesis ,balances and brightens skin tone as well as fight discoloration , gives skin an immunity boost ,protects skin from UV Rays. so I mean this lotion sounds so great and I've only had a couple days to test since I just recived it. This is what I noticed in my skin while using this lotion it did leave my skin nice and hydrated without leaving me feeling oily or tacky. It absorbs very good into the skin and has a very light sent of berry to me and I like that. I've also notice that my pores look smaller when I use the lotion and also that my skin looks brighter and gets a healthy glow. overall I really really liked this lotion evreything it did for my skin was great. Finally reviewing my @desserttable_official very moist, berry recipe lotion. I have been dying to try their products since the first time I saw their products. Their packaging is so minimalistic and cute and remind me of an old fashioned milk bottle. . . The description of what the product claims are is in the 5th picture. First of all, I love that the product is using a pump, it's so convenient and hygienic. The product itself has a wonderful light floral, fruity smell. It fades away faster than I would like actually since the smell is so pleasant to me. The consistency is a light creamy texture that gets watery as you rub it and pat it into your skin. My skin absolutely loves this product and just drinks it up. My skin feels plump, hydrated and looks a little brighter right after applying this lotion. I haven't really seen much difference in the appearance of my pores but i think it's too early for me to see any changes yet anyway. I will update again if I see any differences in my pores. . . It is definitely a new favorite for me.....completely kicked my HERA emulsion to the curb. If you've tried the HERA emulsion that I use, for reference this one is actually much thinner than that one but still provides great moisture. I haven't used it during the harsh winter yet so i can't say for sure if it will be enough for my dessert dry skin during that time but in this spring season, my skin couldnt be happier! The texture of this lotion is lightweight (almost like water or a serum) and not greasy, it sinks into the skin fast, leaving the skin feeling soft and hydrated. It doesn't leave the skin feeling tacking. I've been using it on and off for about to weeks, and I loved it at first until I started to notice that 2-3 hours into wearing this lotion my forehead gets oily. I have combo oily/dry. My cheeks, jaw area that is dry seems to love this lotion, but somehow it doesn't work for my forehead, oily skin type. I was able to confirm this because I let my cousin who also has combo oily/dry skin type, had the same problem with it shining up his forehead. If you have normal/dry skin type you may find this really enjoyable and for oily types maybe this will be good for only winter times. As for pore tightening, I think it helps a bit, it definitely didn't break me out or made my pore look bigger, my skin was softer, brighter and smooth, just hated the greasy forehead. The Very Moist Berry Lotion is the first product that I've had the pleasure of trying from the Desert Table. I purchased this product at a discount for my honest review. The Lotion is packaged in a super cute bottle that looks like a milk bottle. Once the cap is removed a pump is exposed and the bottle is a solid matte white color that keeps the ingredients safe from any damage from air or light exposure. The product has a light, sweet floral scent that fades as the product absorbs. The product is unique in that it pumps out a light creamy consistency but once it's massaged into the skin it transforms into a watery substance and absorbs quickly leaving my skin soft and moisturized. Unfortunately I did receive a small break out along my jawline that disappeared soon after I stopped using the product but I want to give it another chance to be 100% sure it was the product that broke me out and will update my review if need be.

It provides moisture but it would be best for summer as it’s not enough moisture for dry skin or winter. It was a major draw for me and I especially like the pump bottle design for this lotion. That definitely gets bonus points in my book 😆As the name suggests the consistency of this product is a lightweight lotion type cream that sinks into the skin quickly and leaves only a slight shine to my face. This product claims to supply moisture and balance while its 5 berry extracts help to minimize pores and refresh the skin. Some key ingredients include niacinamide that helps in brightening and adenosine for anti-aging effects. There is a slight berry, fruity scent that was detectable but not distracting since it didn’t linger or overwhelm my sensitive nose. After using this for a little over a week, I found that I preferred using this in my morning routine since it seemed to help control my oil production during the day. I also noted that the cream wasn’t very particularly hydrating, so those with dry skin might need to layer up when using this product. Very Moist Berry Recipe Lotion is a type of emulsion like face cream from the Dessert Table line. It’s packed full of antioxidants and great for your skin Betty deliciousness. I absolutely love berries and I love how they re good for the skin. I however, loathe the smell of “artificial berry” and this contains NO SCENT! I love that! I can have the good vitamins and all the amazing superfood benefits without an overpowering odor. It contains the extracts of blueberry, açaí berry, blackberry, cranberry and rose berry.
