I have received the Hanalei Sugar Lip Scrub complimentary to test out and I fell in love! The packaging comes from a square box and the actual lip scrub comes from a plastic container jar. I really like how simple and cute the packaging is. You can just tell how much I have already used it in the second photo ^_^ When using the lip scrub, the steps are so easy! Just apply the lip scrub on dry lips and wipe away with a clean tissue after exfliolating with a clean toothbrush/lip brush or just your finger tips which is the method I used. The smell of the lip scrub is amazing! It smells like pink/strawberry lemonade which made me enjoy using the product even more. My lips were left moisturized after just trying out one session! The only thing that I could possibly dislike about this product is that they don't have a spoon/stick to get the lip scrub out. I received this lip treatment in place of the scrub, complimentary from. @0.8l_usa and @hanalei in exchange for my honest opinion. I had previously had a small sample of this from an ipsy bag and I literally still have it it lasts so long! Literally less than the size of a bb coats your lips like mine in the pic. Great for chapped, dry, over lipstick-ed lips! Also like that it doesn't taste bad! This is my first review for 0.8L! 💗 I was selected for a Hanalei Lip Scrub, but was sent the Lip Treatment instead. I have dry lips, so I am always looking for products to boost moisture and improve the texture, so I was equally excited with the mixup. 💗 The brand features an ingredient that I was not familiar with - kukui oil - a moisturizing oil from the Hawaiian candlenut tree. 💗 I learned that this oil was used hundreds of years ago by Polynesians on babies to protect their skin because it was semipermeable and protected and moisturized the skin, yet allowed it to breathe as well. 💗 Ive enjoyed the moisturizing yet thin and silky texture of the lip treatment and felt that this did help my dry lips. 💗 I preferred to use this during the day and loved carrying it around in my scrub pockets and the squeeze tube made easy to apply. 💗 I did feel as though I had to apply fairly frequently, but I definitely enjoyed using something "green". And the taste was the faintest vanilla 💗 I would recommend if you're looking for something for day. I think hanalei lip treatment is great at keeping my lips moisturized, smooth and healthy. It is great at healing my lips and even preventing further chapping of them. My lips are very healthy thanks to this product. I've suffered with severe chapped lips a lot until now. It goes on very well and only a tiny amount is needed per use so the product lasts a very long time. Great quantity, quality, and price. It doesn't even leave my lips feeling sticky when applied. I have nothing bad to say about this product. It is amazing. I would recommend hanalei lip treatment to anyone desiring healthy, moisturized, chap free lips. #08L #hanaleicompany

I received the Lip Treatment from Hanalei. The packaging was pretty nice, especially the pastel colors on the box. Today was the best day to try out this product, for the solely reason that my lips were really dry and chapped. Once in a while, my lips dry out, and there is not a product that can save me from biting my lips in hope it would ease my discomfort. When I squeezed the bottle, a vaseline-like texture came out of the product. Not surprisingly, it also smelled like vaseline. It made me a little disappointed that this product was like a vaseline. However, after about ten minutes, my lips felt alive again, which NEVER happens when I use vaseline. Unlike the vaseline, the lips suck up the product, so it is not sticky anymore. The picture I've taken is just seconds after applying the product, that is why is seems still shiny. Although, the directions stated to apply the lip treatment after using the sugar scrub. I apply the lip treatment on his own, and it worked perfectly. With just the lip treatment, my lips were left soft, and no loose skin or patches. I would really recommend this product, especially when the cold weather is around the corner!

I like this lip treatment so much that I added it to my beauty routine. It keeps my lips so soft and I only have to apply it once a day - I do it twice because I love the feel of it. The smell is amazing - it reminds me of summer. The only complaint I could even think of was that, because its so thick, it might be better in a pot? I can't complain otherwise. I will definitely buy this and try out the other products too!

It is a sweet smelling ointment that makes your lips very soft! It's not rough on my lips at all. Very easy to apply and the size of the tube is great and easy to pack in my luggage.

🍁 Hanalei Lip Treatment 🍁 🍃Hanalei is a Hawaiian based company that produces body & lip products all featuring the native Kukui Nut. The Kukui Nut is rich in fatty acids & vitamins A, C & E. The company also prides itself as being paraben & cruelty free. 🍃 I have been using this as a daytime lip moisturizer for a little under a week. As mentioned this contains Kukui Nut but also boasts some impressive nourishing and protecting ingredients I personally look for in lip products a few notable ones are Lanolin, Shea Butter & Agave & Grape Seed oils. This kept my lips nicely plump, and provided a bit of occlusion without being too heavy for daytime. I do prefer thicker lip masks for nighttime, but this was excellent for day, and small enough to throw in my pocket or bag on the go. I appreciate the tube type packaging and as its hygienic and convenient. I look forward to continuing use during the dry colder months and would recommend this product for those looking for a thick balm that provides a seal and protects lips from drying and cracking. . .

This is my first time trying this brand and I have to admit that I am impressed with the positive results! I have been using this lip treatment every night. I apply it generously to my lips before bedtime. It's easy to apply. Next day my lips feel protected, moisturized, smooth, healed and rejuvenated. It doesn't leave any residues. The formula comes in a tube. It looks and feel like petroleum jelly. It smells normal and the taste is tolerable. According to a brief description at their website, this product is paraben and cruelty free. It's made with great ingredients such as: Shea butter, Kukui oil, Grape seed oil and Agave. I recommend this product! Sadly, I did not receive the #hanaleisugarlipscrub but instead I got the #liptreatment. It contains lanolin, which is an ingredient I can not use. I asked a friend to try this for me. She really enjoyed it and said it made her lips very soft and moisturized. Hanalei Lip Treatment: 5 stars First Impression: This lip treatment is packaged in a regular, but sturdy cardboard box. The packaging is smooth and attractive to the eye. The tube of product itself is a pale pink color, which is a great color to choose for a soothing product. Aside from the color, the tube is very bare-bones, with the product name and weight and company information listed on it. It’s attractive to the eyes in a simple, understated way. After use: This lip treatment smells, tastes and feels wonderful. It’s slightly vanilla scented and flavored, which i a big plus for me. The product is bit tough to squeeze out of the tube, and at first may seem a bit oily. After applying it, it almost instantly softened and smoothed my lips. I was cautious not to over-apply this product, so that it didn’t feel goopy. The first thing I noticed was the scent! This lip scrub smells divine - it has a sweet citrus scent to it. A little bit goes a long way. It goes on nicely and exfoliates well. It isn't too coarse to the point that its rough on the lips. Personally, I don't really use lip scrubs but I love that its cruelty free. The only thing is that it's a bit difficult to get off afterwards. It left a bit of an oily film that I had to keep washing to get off.

I loved hanalie lip scrub. It was so soft, and a citrus -y taste. Not the best lip scrub I've tried. But its up there. So good you can lick it off! The formula was abit chunky/grainy. I love lip scrubs!.. I use them a ton! I've tried so many, but this was my first time trying Hanalei Sugar Lip scrub. I like that it contains real Maui Sugar Crystals, and the sugar is finely milled so I don't end up trying to rub my lips together with huge sugar crystal chunks. I enjoy the formula and it really does leave my lips so much softer. It's packed with some awesome ingredients including: Jojoba, Shea Butter, Grape seed oil and Kukui Seed oil. It's easy to use, super nourishing and gently exfoliates my lips. I really like using it before I apply any lip products, really helps whatever product I'm using that day go on smoothly. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a gentle lip exfoliator. Bonus, it's paraben free too!
