As we all know by now, I love a good sunscreen. So when I had the chance to test this Earth’s Recipe spf out, you better believe I said yes! . ☀️Scent: Strong sunscreen smell with a hint of citrus maybe? Not offensive, just noticeable. ☀️Texture: Creamy gel, not watery at all, very easy to spread. A little goes a long way. But not too little. You still need to apply the right amount! ☀️Finish: Shiny on application, dries down to a satiny finish after a few minutes. It doesn’t claim to be matte or oil controlling, and it isn’t. ☀️Not super moisturizing, but also not drying. Average, lightly hydrating formula here. . Overall, I like it! I need something more matte during the summer, but if you don’t, I think this is a great dupe for the Biore Watery Gel Essence before it was reformulated to make everyone sad. The only thing I’m not a fan of is the price. For $25, I need something mind-blowing or that’s gonna last me a long time.

I'm on the fence about which texture my skin likes more cream or gels. I've yet to try sun milk or sun fluids maybe that's what it likes 🤷🏻‍♀️. Onwards with my search for a sunscreen. --------------------- {Review} . 🏝Purpose & Claims: Harrogate Sparkling Water hydrates the skin while the waters natural high mineral content nourishes. The mineral water also helps to rebuild skin cells by strengthening collagen and elastin cells which keep the skin plump. It has an SPF 50 PA +++ broad spectrum UVA/UVB protection. . 🏝Key Ingredients: Swipe ➡️ for the full ingredients list. From what I can decipher this is a chemical only sunscreen. . 🏝Scent: Yes, a mix of sunscreen and perfume fragrance scent. The scent doesn’t irritate my skin but I’m not a fan of the perfume smell. Kinda strong for my nose. . 🤔Reflections: Texture is lightweight and easily spreadable. It’s milky in color but becomes clear once blended. It doesn’t leave a white cast. Even though it’s a light gel texture I find that in order to have adequate sun protection I have to use more than a pea size. That is more than the amount needed to cover my whole face and makes the sunscreen feel and look very slick on the skin. I noticed a dewy finish at first but later on when it fully absorbed the finish became a semi-matte. However, it’s a good sunscreen for reapplying after the recommended 2 hours and after full absorption, as it doesn’t pill or become over oily. One huge dislike is that when I wear it alone without a makeup base on top it will get in my eyes. DO NOT get it in your eyes 😣 it stings a lot. —- 🏝Conclusion: Even though I like the texture of the sun gel I dislike how much my eyes burn when I wear it without makeup. I will continue to use it but only under makeup. I would recommend it to all skin types. I think it’s good for anyone in need of a sunscreen that doesn’t white cast and wants something lighter than a cream. This is a pretty nice sunscreen that I received from 8.0L to test and review. I wouldn’t say that it is my favorite face sunscreen because it is a little on the shiny side, but it is a dream on my neck and arms, so that is normally where I put it on. You have to make sure to shake this up really well because there will be just oil that comes out first if you don’t, but as long as you shake it up it will be fine. On my face, I find that it does not absorb as well as I would like it to and that I have to powder too much for my comfort. It is not greasy, it is just SO shiny – but this is perfect for “glass skin” if you are into that look. That might be something personal to me though, because I am obsessed with mattifying sunscreens, so for others, this might not be an issue. This sunscreen claims that it is the perfect sunscreen to wear under makeup, and I would venture to say that I think that would be true, but only if you are indeed going to be wearing makeup. I do not wear foundation at all normally, so I wasn’t able to test that, but I can imagine that if you were to be putting foundation on, then it would help to cut the shininess down. Sometimes I apply this with my beauty blender and that helps to absorb some of the oil. I do love that this sunscreen is cruelty-free and it smells SO GOOD!! The scent smells like cucumbers, but not overpowering. It is small enough that I take with me to re-apply and I have never had a problem with burning. This is actually the sunscreen that I apply on my hands when I am in the car so that they do not age due to sun damage. I will definitely continue to use this sunscreen until it is gone.

Nice sunscreen! Has a light, cucumber?, scent. Doesn't feel like a sunscreen. Goes on like a light lotion, but not as moisturizing, I don't think it's a replacement for a moisturizer. I don't need it to be...I need it not sticky and not itchy and it delivers!

Review for the best sunscreen ever! Thanks to 0.8L, I was able to try the Earth’s Recipe Waterful Sun Gel. I have to say that this has been my favorite sunscreen I’ve tried! The scent is light and the consistency is more like a moisturizer than a sunscreen. The product absorbs well into my skin and does not leave ANY sticky feeling at all. This sun gel has changed the way I look at sunscreen in my daily routine, and I’m no longer dreading this step! I highly recommend this sun gel!

Today Im reviewing Earth's recipe waterful sun gel. It has SPF 50 PA +++ and provides UVA and UVB protection both Lets get to the review 🔸 White Emulsion like consistency 🔸️ Tube packaging 🔸 No white cast 🔸 Hybrid sunscreen I was expecting it to be looking like a gel however it looked more like an emulsion. It was easy to apply and absorbed quickly. It did not dry out my skin and was non greasy. It had no white caste either. Only gripe is it stings my eyes and my eyes get watery very soon. So I have a love hate relationship with this sunscreen. Maybe it will be better suited as a body sunscreen as it did not irritate my neck.

Such a great face sunscreen! I have been raving about this to everyone cause it is definitely my absolute favorite facial sunscreen I’ve used. It is so light and moisturizing, which is unexpected for such a high SPF. Usually my other facial sunscreens cause a white cast and make my skin feel and look so dull and dry. This one absorbs into the skin instantly and moisturizers it rather than dulls it. It comes in a small container as well which is nice to be able to grab and take on the go for days out or pool days as well. I will definitely consider repurchasing this once I run out and urge others to try it as well! It also came so quickly from amazon so I commend them for being so quick and prompt!

Earths Recipe Waterful Sun Gel: I admit it, I’m very forgetful when it comes to remembering to put on sunscreen in the morning. When I do remember I will always reach for this sunscreen. It has such a light smell that is not at all anything like other sunscreens smell, it did not clog my pores, it didn’t make me breakout, and it sat underneath my makeup without any issues. The consistency was very lightweight so it absorbed into the skin quickly and didn’t feel heavy or cakey whatsoever. Most sunscreens also seem to leave a white cast on the skin but I did not have that problem at all while using this. From the around 2 weeks that I’ve been using this I can confidently say that I highly recommend this sunscreen. I love this cream. I wanted to use sunscreen under my makeup and never found right one. They usually leaves greasy gray cast. However, this sunscreen is amazing. It blends with skin so well and doesn’t leave gray cast. It is very thin formula so it goes well under makeup. I received this water gel suncream from 08liter for testing purposes.

So be aware in case you have very sensitive skin. Comes in a very convenient travel size tube and it does smells like sunscreen which I’m ok with by the way. I’ve mentioned before how I’m one of the few people here who looooooves the smell of sunscreens. 🙊 I know, I know, my picky nose can’t stand soapy scents but this she approves lol 🤷🏻‍♀️ She is one unique nose.🤣 But anyways, aside from the sunscreen scent it also has a little bit of a friendly fragrance. Not overpowering though. The texture is gel like (swipe for pic) it does not leave a white cast but it might leave your skin looking somewhat shiny just FYI. Takes a few seconds to absorb on your skin and a dime size amount is all that is needed (or half of what I poured on my hand.) . . Rating and final thoughts: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️! Overall I really like this one. (No breakouts 👍🏻) Even though is not waterproof, as most sunscreens are, is water resistant for the first couple of hours. Plus, it looks great under makeup. Beach Life The weather is beautiful and Beach Season is here! The beach provides a soothing and relaxing outlet for me with so many added benefits. When I am at the beach I can clear my head and just focus on the present. 08 Liter had a new sunscreen available for a trial fee of $3.99 so I grabbed one to try out. I go through a ton of sunscreen throughout the year and the summer especially. The Earth's Recipe Waterful Sun Gel retails for $25. It is a 50ML bottle so it is fairly small which I liked because it is great for throwing in your purse or beach bag. It has a nice light scent to the gel. SPF 50 I really liked the gel because it has a really light consistency and absorbs really quickly. It fully absorbs as well so there is no white streaks or residue left behind from the gel. The waterful sun gel is also not greasy or did not make my skin oily at all. This makes is a really great sunscreen for under makeup. It provided excellent coverage while I was at the beach and I really like the waterful sun gel. 5 stars all the way.

My skin is very different in the summer than it is in the winter.  I have found my perfect sunscreen for the winter, but of course, it's too much moisture for my skin over the summer. Thus a different version of the sunscreen hunt ensues.   💧 💧 💧 The Earth's Recipe Waterful Sun Gel promises PA+++ protection in a hydrating but light weight formula. Formulated with high content mineral water and glycerin to encourage a strong moisture barrier and keep skin plump and healthy looking.   💧 💧 💧 My personal concerns for sunscreen involve a low alcohol content and I need it to cause zero ocular irritation.  I prefer a non dewy or light dewy look over the summer since its humid and I already have to provide my skin with tons of hydration in the earlier skin care steps, and I have combination skin during this season.   💧 💧 💧 What I love about this sun gel is it really does what it claims.  It's super light, almost refreshing feeling and provides excellent broad spectrum sun protection.  It’s easily layered with other products and doesn't feel nasty when I need to add a second layer. I have sensitive eyes and I can put this on my eyelids with confidence. It wears perfectly under makeup as well.  The gel sinks in very quickly and it spreads or pats in nicely. 💧 💧 💧 It has some fragrance to it,  though it doesn't seem to linger and isn't too offensive.  It smells a bit like Philosophy Amazing Grace perfume to me.   The finish is a bit dewier than I like but it's not a deal breaker by any means.  I don't think I look overly greasy at the end of the day or after sweating, which is a plus.  It leaves a bit of a powdery film on my skin, but it's not a problem. 💧 💧 💧 Overall,  I really like this and would repurchase! I had the opportunity to try this product for free for my.honest opinion. This product is a sunscreen lotion product it asbord perfectly into your skin leaving no stickey feeling or heavy feeling. It also protects you against uva and uvb rays and safe for kids to use. it has a soft aqua smell thay fades away after 5 to 10 mins. It is a small compact that you can take everywhere with you and the best part you can wear ot under your make up. I really like this product it soothe to the touch. smells really good. My son loves helping me put it on in the morning before we start our day. It has really help on days that its really hot and days that are really coo. i qould recommend to anyone. Thanks.

I’m loving this sunscreen by Earth’s Recipe, the Waterful Sun Gel SPF 50 is the perfect size for on the go. I live in Arizona and a good sunscreen is a must, the formula is perfect, it’s very lightweight and absorbs quickly. It has a light scent and it doesn’t feel greasy, I used this with and without makeup and it didn’t make my skin oily. I would definitely recommend this product, I know that I will be using this all summer.

I absolutely love the smell of this product. it reminds of cucumbers. it's also very light weight on my face. I used this as a moisturizer plus an spf for my face and it had my face looking fresh and really protected it like it should. I would definitely buy this.

It is not waterproof. ☀ The sunscreen is not too greasy and absorbs reasonably well in about 5 minutes. Use only the amount of product necessary to cover the face, any extra will cause the skin to be oily. ☀ I made a serious mistake and got the sunscreen too close to my eyes. HUGE MISTAKE! It burns like Hades! Even washing it out of my eyes was difficult, and it stung for 20 minutes after. Keep this sunscreen far away from your eyes! ☀️ Earth's Recipe Waterful Sun Gel stays on well for 5+ hours, provided that you are not sweating or swimming. It goes on well before moisturizer and under makeup.
