So, this is a soothing serum that I like the feel of. Due to the vagaries of shipping #08liter products of review, I haven't gotten to try it enough. I like the feel of it. Ingredients (pulled from Amazon product listing): Centella Asiatica Extract, Propanediol, Glycerin, Glycereth-26, Niacinamide, Pentaerythrityl Tetraisostearate, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, 1,2-Hexanediol, C14-22 Alcohols, Sorbitan Stearate, Trehalose, Acrylates/C10-30 Alkyl Acrylate Crosspolymer, Hydroxyacetophenone, Tromethamine, C12-20 Alkyl Glucoside, Water, Adenosine, Lavandula Angustifolia (Lavender) Oil, Disodium EDTA, Sodium Hyaluronate, Propylene Glycol, Lilium Candidum Bulb Extract, Himanthalia Elongata Extract, Pancratium Maritimum.

This is a lovely serum from Intermission, the Rest-Up line. I tested their oil serum a few months ago, and now I was able to test out the synergy serum. I can’t decide which one I like more, they are both really nice. Full disclosure, this product took FOREVER to get to me, so, unfortunately, I only had about a week to test this one before the review was due, but the first-week impression was really good. I will have to test it for much longer to see long-term results but my skin feels nice and hydrated and I have had no issues with sensitivity or acne. It has a nice slip to it, and a little goes a long way. I normally use about two pumps for my whole face. It dries down after a minute or so, and there is a slight tackiness to the skin. I use this serum as my last serum before my cream because it is thicker than my other ones, and I haven’t found any problem with tackiness or any pilling, so it works well with both oil and water-based products. The smell is light, kind of citrus scented. The bottle is really nice, I love the pump that it has and it is made out of a really heavy glass – it feels pretty lux. Like last time, I love the graffiti design that the bottle has and how it says what it is good for right on the bottle. Many times with these products it is hard to tell the claims without translating, but Intermission is good about having English writing on their bottles and boxes. It claims it is brightening, anti-wrinkle, energizing, moisturizing, and can be used for all skin types except dry, however, I have found that it is good for dry skin as well. Main ingredients are Sea daffodil, Canella Asiatic, and Himanthalia Elongate. It normally retails for $32.50 but I got it at a reduced price in exchange for a review.

Fantastic clean and cruelty free line. Contains centella, sea daffodils, marine bamboo and other rare ingredients. Maintains excellent hydration while balancing sebum production. Great for keeping skin bright, hydrated and blemish free. One big selling point for me is that it contains tyrosine inhibitors (prevents and reduces dark spots from melasma and sun damage). Very very soothing and would be appropriate for all skin types. I actually tested this after having a micro peel (chemical peel with micro dermabrasion). I had zero irritation even on my raw freshly peeled skin. I actually looked forward to using it due to the cooling soothing sensation.

I prefer this upgraded version more. • 🍃 Scent/Viscosity: the opaque, milky white serum has a light, gel-like viscosity. I detect a very pleasant and mild herbal/floral fragrance. • 🍃 Notable ingredients: sea daffodils, centella asiatica, himanthalia elongata, etc. • 🍃 Performance: I had been using 2 pumps twice a day. The serum spread easily and absorbed really fast. On bare skin, the serum actually dried down to a semi-matte finish with a tiny bit of tackiness. The hydration properties of the gel definitely soothed my dehydrated skin. I haven’t seen any brightening effects, but I am enjoying this serum a lot. Intermission Rest up serum was such a pleasant surprise. The bottle is nice glass, and it’s a good size. It’s not too watery which was nice for a serum. It should last a while :) it has a nice clean smell associated with it that didn’t linger for too long, but is a little strong. I didn’t mind it though. The box is super cute and I love the color contrast. The serum did leave my face feeling sticky for at least 10-15 minutes before feeling mostly absorbed. So far my skin hasn’t felt too oily or anything so I will continue to use this in my nightly routine!

Fact: I have #sensitive acne-prone #combination skin (dry patchy areas on my cheeks/ mandible and oily T-zone). When i say #dry, i mean super DRY! 🗣 This is my honest review of Intermission Rest Up Synergy Serum 🌸 This lightweight serum a great botanical blend. It's first ingredients are centella ( used in Chinese medicine for it's healing properties) and sea daffodils- a Mediterranean sand lily thats extract also is a healing agent. The claims of this product include locking in moisture , soothing, healing and protecting your skin. 🙄First Impression: The packaging is stellar! The checklist design shows you exactly what to expect, the bottle is not only cute but having a pump for a serum is a game changer. It has a very light texture and smells like real lavender oil. Even the box it came in was a heavy cardboard- packaging alone was impressive. 🌸Experience: This is a serum, but the body and white coloring makes it feel more like a lightweight moisturizer. It absorbs incredibly well with NO shine or tackiness and it's perfect for layering with other products in your skin care routine. Having this for summertime is a dream- esp with my combo skin. It's incredible for daytime use. 🤔 Final Thoughts: I got to use this for a good amount of time and have started seeing the brightening claims in action. The summer sun always speckled the bridge of my nose and cheekbones with a handful of freckles ( that look more like dirt lol) and by adding this into my routine this summer I have way less, dirt on my face 🙄) The capillaries visible on my nose are much better looking and overall I love how fresh my skin looks after applying.
