⭐️ //Make P:rem Blue Ray Sun Cream Review// ** Purchased from #08L at a discounted price for trial and review** 🔹What Is It: A physical sunscreen (zinc oxide, titanium dioxide) that provides protection from UVA, UVB rays and infrared waves by purportedly cooling your skin’s temps. 🔹Texture: Thick white cream that does take a little bit of work to pat into your skin because of the physical filters. 🔹Scent: Citrusy but very faint. 🔹Performance: When first applied, holy ghostly white cast! Thankfully, I do find that once it settles in after a few minutes, the white cast is barely perceptible. It dries down to a very matte finish which, as a plus, does do a good job at minimizing pores, particularly on my nose. Do not bypass using a separate moisturizer underneath this unless you want uncomfortably dry and tight skin. I don’t notice any cooling effect but I also don’t have any measuring device that I can use to verify this. 🔹Bottom Line: Two words sum up my experience with this sunscreen: dry and matte. For daily use, I like sunscreens that apply effortlessly with an invisible finish and feel weightless and this isn’t it. Instead, I think this sunscreen is better suited for outdoor activity/sport use when I know I’m going to be more sweaty.

I've tried the Make P:rem sunscreen before but it was the Capsule Sun Gel and I was not a fan. It was too oily for my skin, but I did love the lack of white cast. When I saw this sunscreen come up I just had to try it again and I'm so glad I did. I love this sunscreen! It's just the perfect combination of hydration while still achieving a matte or semi-matte finish. The sunscreen is supposed to keep your skin cooler while still providing great physical protection against UVA and UVB rays. There's no white cast and this is very important to me as a woman of color. I apply about two pea size amounts to my face and it completely protects my skin on these 100F days. I've not had any irritation or sensitivities while using the sunscreen. So happy I have found another great sunscreen too add to my arsenal. Will repurchase. My favorite face sunscreen at the moment is the @makeprem UV Defense Me Blue Ray Sun Cream. I looove that it has centella asiatica added and is also PA++++. This also leaves ZERO white cast despite it being a purely mineral sunscreen (zinc oxide and titanium dioxide are the third and fourth ingredients). It also leaves me with an almost matte finish to my face which I appreciate because ya girl gets hella oily in the summer 😭 I received this on promotion from @08L_usa and @credithink and damn did this sunscreen come at the perfect time for me! I do reapply it about every two hours (like it is recommended you should) and it glides on even when my skin has become a bit oily. Overall, I highly recommend this item! It does have a slight herbal scent, but there are no added fragrances if that is something you are worried about.

In addition to Broad Spectrum SPF 50+PA++++, it has some really sweet skincare goodies! . ☀️ Birch Sap, Centella, and no white cast! Yes please! . ☀️It claims to cool the skin while shielding UV rays. While I can’t attest to that, I will say this leaves a fantastic matte finish on the skin and DOES NOT sweat off! The consistency is a thin lotion, but it absorbs quickly. Definitely recommend this sunscreen, especially to my pals with combo skin! . . I know I risk sounding preachy, but sun protection is the most important step in skincare, in my opinion. Sure, skipping cleansing won’t do anything wonderful for your skin, but a breakout from clogged pores hasn’t killed anyone (that I know of). Skin cancer has. I go through sunblocks rather quickly because I use them every day of the year on my face, neck, chest, and anything else that’s exposed ☀️ . ☀️I’m currently using Make P:rem UV Defense Me Blue Ray Sun Cream. It’s a hydrating 100% physical sunblock that doesn’t leave a white cast and is gentle on the skin. Physical sunblocks work by reflecting the rays (vs absorbing and neutralizing them the way chemical filters do). This one is suitable for all skin types, but especially oily and combination. . ☀️ This product has SPF 50+ and PA++++ (the highest possible). . Active ingredients: ☀️Zinc oxide - physical sunblock ☀️Titanium dioxide - physical sunblock ☀️Birch sap - locks in moisture ☀️Centella extract - soothes the skin, reduces inflammation and irritation; great for acne prone skin . This product is easily in my top two favorites. It’s slightly mattifying but not drying, easy to apply under or without makeup. It doesn’t make me greasy, shiny, or ghost-white. I strongly prefer physical sunscreens to the chemical ones for health reasons, so it’s really nice to find one that is also aesthetically pleasing. I can’t speak to the temperature lowering claims as I do not put myself out in the sun for long enough periods to test that. Love love love!

The Blue Ray Sun Gel is a half physical, half chemical hybrid sunblock that melts seamlessly into skin without leaving behind any white cast. It has a lot of skin brightening ingredients like Niacinamide, Water Lily Extract, Vitamin C and other moisturizing and soothing ingredients like Chia Seed, Centella Asiatica, and Sodium Hyaluronate. The Water Lily Extract inside is believed to be the reason that gives this sunscreen its cooling effect. It just absorbs heat better and helps the skin to stay moisturized. I love how light it feels on my skin. I was hoping that this wouldn't give a white cast like other sunscreen does give me and I am so happy that it didn’t !! It also hasn't broke me out which is great. I really like this sunscreen and would recommend it.

Based on the key ingredients, it is a 100% mineral physical sunscreen. Packaging is pretty simple but very pretty, I like the fact that I can control how much sunscreen comes out of the tube (swipe left.) It smells like your typical sunscreen but with a mix of fresh flower (contains Sage, Nymphaea Alba flower, Halicacabum flower leaf/vine, and Sunflower extracts.) Texture is creamy yet very light and fast absorbing. The Centella Asiatica makes it feel particularly soothing while being applied and it does not leave a white cast behind. 👍🏻 **But be aware though, if does dry up very quickly so if not rubbed right away it I found that it can leave a subtle white cast so try to apply it in a swiftly manner.** . .
