Setelah sempat hilang sekian bulan, finally Tamanu Calming Serum nya @makeprem ini berhasil aku temukan kembali, makanya bisa aku buatkan reviewnya hari ini. . So serum ini dikemas kedalam botol plastik berwarna hijau dilengkapi pump sebagai aplikatornya. Untuk isinya sendiri ada 50ml & pas aku cek ternyata isi serumnya gak nyampe 1/4 dari panjang botolnya, agak mubazir sih bikin botol segedey ini 😊 . Adapun kandungan utamanya seperti Tamanu Oil, Hyaluronic Acid & Herb Complex dipercaya dapat menenangkan kulit senstiv dengan cepat, menghydrasi kulit secara mendalam plus meningkatkan kesehatan kulit. Tapi setau aku selain itu Tamanu Oil atau lebih kita kenal dengan extrak biji buah cemara ini punya kegunaan untuk merawat kulit berjerawat & sebagai anti aging. . Berbeda dengan serum lainnya, textur serum ini lebih kearah cream berwarna hijau yang agak thick mirip kek moisturizer cream gitu sih ketimbang serum. Walopun thick dia masih gampanglah buat diratain cuma agak lama nyerap ke wajah & berasa kek greasy diwajah sampe bangun pagi malahan. . Adapun aromanya seperti wangi jamu jamuan yang agak stronge, sebagian orang mungkin gak nyaman dengan wangi ini tp kalo aku sih suka banget sama aroma jamu kek gini. . Aku pake serum ini pas malam hari aja, itupun pas jerawatan atau pas kulit wajahku kek lagi kering aja & aplikasiinnya juga tipis tipis aja. Aku aplikasiin gak keseluruh wajah mengingat serum ini punya fungsi menghydrasi aku gak mau kalo dia sampe memompa minyak diwajahku mengingat kulit wajahku kan over oily. . Setelah 4 hari pemakaian serum ini sukses bantu atasin masalah jerawatku, kulit juga berasa lebih halus & serum ini juga bagus buat kalemin kulit kemerahan atau sensitiv gitu. Btw karna aku pake serum ini gak tiap hari, jadi dia lumayan awet sih menurutku.

Ok let's talk about Make PREM hereforeto referred to as MP &more specifically their suncream. I've been on MP for a minute now. Their products tend to be clean, well formulated, & 100% effective. I started with their acne spot treatment & never looked back no matter which I tried their products worked well for me. Last summer was actually the time I started hearing musings about the awesomeness of MP's suncare agents. Whispers of how perfect the formulation of the orange cap cream was & little plugs on the blue cap too. I promised myself I would try out their suncream line in the upcoming season so imagine my displeasure when I found the orange cap version was discontinued. Gah! I found it, but that's another story. Needless to say when I saw MP suncream on 0.8L I snapped it up & the rest is history . . Claims: A safe formula sun cream for sensitive skin that contains 100% inorganic UV protectant & EWG grade ingredients that reflect UV rays from the surface of the skin. PA++++ provides the highest level sun protection while mineral sunscreen protects from UVA and UVB. Chia seed and centella asiatica extract also help to soothe. A never before seen liquidy sunblock in a never before seen slippery milky texture. NOT WATERPROOF! . . Impression: Its Make PREM! Didn't I just say earlier I haven't tried one product from this maker that hasn't been excellent? The best part of this suncream is that it is a cream. Personally speaking I do think I like the orange cap suncream better especially when my skin is feeling dehydrated, but this suncream is also awesome! If you look at the video too you see there is absolutely ZERO whitecast & as a WOC that is so hugely important when I'm picking out a sun protectant. It goes on lightweight & is utterly breathable without a hint of the overriding odor one thinks of when you think of sunblock. Its easy to layer & didn't pill or grease up under my makeup. For all these reasons & mo this one is a Keeper! . . Cost: $27/ 0.54 fl oz and up depending on size & formulation (also comes in a stick form) . . Repurchase: Hell yes! I actually went ahead and got this in a much larger size so that I could also use it as a body/chest lotion. I will say like all AB suncream the cost can get nasty pretty quickly so the better deal is always more ounces to the dollar. . . This is a 100% mineral cream. ☀️ [Scent and Texture] - This smells a little citrusy 🍊🍋. The fragrance is very light and not noticeable after application. The texture of this is what I would call somewhere between milky essence texture and cream texture. The sunscreen comes out of the bottle white. I read a review they suggested shaking the bottle gently before applying and that made a world 🌎 of difference in how this sunscreen worked for me. I’m having a flare up of eczema on my right cheek and this did not burn my eczema patch when I applied (big bonus)! Although this sunscreen comes out of the bottle white, I found that it did not leave a white cast after it sinks in to skin. This did not make my skin feel heavy or smothered. It did not leave my skin oily or dry. It left it just right. ☀️ [Final Thoughts]- I am really glad I gave this sunscreen a second chance. Although I like this product, I probably will not repurchase as I have other sunscreens that I prefer, such as my @cosrx Aloe Soothing Sun Cream. It’s always sunscreen season when you’re into skincare! Lol With that said, this one from Make P:REM sounded promising. It did not fail me. 👌🏻 . It’s a physical sunscreen containing zinc oxide and titanium dioxide. Protecting from UVA, UVB, and infrared waves. Also containing a favorite ingredient; centella asiatica. Light weight and creamy consistency that leaves a faint white cast, but goes away fairly quick. Does have a light fresh scent to it. Leaves a matte finish, which I enjoy as my skin tends to get oily with some sunscreens. And just in general throughout the day. I prefer this one for under makeup application because of the matte finish it leaves. . All in all, I do like this one, but unless I find it for a fair price I won’t repurchase. Amazon has it with a set of mini Whamisa products for $36.

Were you, like me, on the hunt for sunscreen that had only metal oxide filters (mineral sunscreens) because the ones with organic filters burn your eyes like fire? If so, here's a lovely option that you might like; meet the @makeprem UV defense me blue ray sun cream. . . . It's spf 50 PA++++ and allegedly cools the skins surface, which I didn't experience but it's awesome on it's own. Unlike most mineral sunscreens, this one is super easy to apply, spreads like any lotion you have in your house. It actually has a matte finish, so oily skinned folks can rejoice 🙆🏻‍♀️ but if you have dry skin like me you will definitely want a cream underneath since this on many occasions made my skin feel quite tight and dry. Now it does give a bit of a white cast, which I'm sure we all saw coming since it's a mineral sunscreen, but it's definitely not like a Zinka level whiteness. It has the usual delicious skincare ingredients one comes to expect from Korean brands; centella, birch sap, and even water lily. . . . And for the things I wasn't a fan of... aside from a little white cast. This has sage and bergamot oil in it... which are two scents I'm not a huge fan of. I don't even grow sage I hate the scent so much... like wet pool towels. [PRODUCT REVIEW] . Make prem UV defense me blue ray sun cream is a 100% mineral sunscreen which provides SPF 50 PA ++++ sun protection. It also claims to cool down temperature of sun-exposed skin by 5 degrees Celsius. This sun cream contains notable ingredients such as birch sap, chia seed extracts and calming centella extract (one of my fav ingredients). . This sun cream comes in a hygienic squeeze bottle with a twist off cap and is easily dispensed. The cream itself has a white color and a light medicinal scent. It has the texture of a creamy lotion which spreads easily and dries down fairly quickly without any tackiness. . I’ve been using this sunscreen for the past 2 weeks and have been loving it! It doesn’t have the typical dry and thick texture of most physical sunscreens 🙌 It is lightweight with a matte finish and plays well under makeup. The formula does dry down with a matte finish so some would probably find this too drying, but with my oily combo skin in this humidity, it actually works really well 👍 There’s a slight white cast when first applied (it is a mineral sunscreen after all) but it does go away after awhile. I usually wear a cc cream or foundation over this so the white cast is not really an issue for me. While I don’t really notice the cooling effect on the skin surface, I am very happy with the texture and longevity of the formula. Ideal for all skin types, especially combo and oily skin. (@glowrecipe) . ☀️Texture & Scent: The sun cream has quite a thick texture. I was pretty scared that it was going to be too heavy on my skin, especially since it is summer time. I don't really detect a strong scent, nor any scent whatsoever, while I was using it so that's a plus. . ☀️Results: I was pretty surprised with this sun cream! I brought it to Hawaii with me due to the claim that it'll cool down my skin despite the heat and Make P:rem did not lie when they stated that claim. My skin usually feels really hot during summer time, and this causes my skin to turn red and become more sensitive. This suncream really helped with that issue. The two cons I had is: 1.) this was too mattifying for my combo skin, whenever I use it, I have to put on hydrating layers prior to this or else my skin will feel too dry after about two hours. 2.) this was a pain to remove, even when I double cleanse my skin. I had to use at least 2 to 3 of my Cosrx moisture pads to really feel that my skin was clean. However, the pros did out weigh the cons for me (especially since this was the only sunblock I could use that didn't worsen my already irritated skin) . ☀️☀️☀️☀️/5 . ☀️I paid a trial fee to @0.8l_usa in order to try the product out.

This is a physical sunscreen, which I didn’t realize when I got this from 0.8L. I usually like chemical sunscreens, so keep that in mind during this review. It does have a bit of a white cast. I’m pretty pale so it fades after a little bit, but I didn’t like looking like a zombie while I waited for it to absorb. It seemed to accentuate the circles under my eyes so it looked like I hadn’t slept. It’s hard to apply because it takes a lot of rubbing to spread it over my skin. It also felt really drying on my skin, even with moisturizer underneath. I liked that it had a matte finish and once the white case was gone, it looked okay. You can swipe to see how it applies. I think it’s pretty good for a physical sunscreen so if you can’t use chemical sunscreens, definitely check this out! It's Summer and Sunblock is a must. I had the opportunity through @0.8l_usa via @credithink to obtain the @makeprem Blue Ray Sun Cream for $3.99 in exchange for my honest review. A physical sunblock, meaning it contains ingredients such as titanium dioxide and zinc oxide, this SPF 50 + PA ++++ is created to reduce heat caused by the sun. It also contains Chia Seed extract and Centella extract for soothing. A non greasy and mattifying this light and pleasently scented #sunblock felt super cooling on the skin. Which proves the reducing heat claim that is on the package. With Spf 50 this perfect protection from the #Summer sun. On my part, I was super excited to try #makeprem, a #kbeauty brand I have longed to try products from aside from their sheetsmasks that are amazing. When I recieved this from #08liter and #credithink I was jumping for joy. Alas it was in my hands and I was ready to enjoy my new sunblock. It layers much better than the orange tube from #eyenlip. I’m even more impressed bc my skin has been a bumpy mess lately but this sunscreen still layers so well. The bergamot scent is actually kind of nice. Not overpowering at all although the bergamot can take a little getting used to at first. The cap is completely flush with the squeeze tube opening which is really nice bc no product leaks out. I’ve found that slightly watery sunscreen milks will leak sometimes from bouncing around in my bag. There’s a slight white cast but it disappears when fully blended in however, it will reappear after several reapplications. I haven’t been able to test the 5C/F temperature reduction claim. Not sure even how to do that actually. I went to the beach recently and have researched and purchased reef safe sunscreens from #babyganics and #goddessgarden so when I checked this ingredient list, I was able to wear it there. It doesn’t have nano sized inorganic filters, parabens, or any organic uv filters all of which cause bleaching to reef structures. Not sure why it’s rating the absorbability here. 🍹Having rosacea means that during a flare up I need to use the gentlest of products while protecting my skin from the sun.  Mineral sunscreen is recommended, but it's hard to find a thin formula that doesn't make you feel caked up or greasy or leave a wicked white cast.  Also, I worry about drying out using mineral formulas. They tend to draw out all my moisture. 🍹 🍹I was super psyched to see @credithink and @0.8l_usa offer the Make P:rem UV Defense Me Blue Ray Sun Cream, I appreciate being able to test this sunscreen for a trial fee of $3.99 because it is a rather pricey sun cream. I was drawn to it for its claim to reduce the temperature of the skin when exposed to the skin. It's also high SPF with a PA++++ rating,  so perfect when I I know I'm going to be in the direct sun for any kind of time. 🍹 🍹I've tested this by slathering it all over my face nearly everyday to walk to the park or wear under makeup when I go to work.  I do feel like it keeps my face cooler in this summer heat, and my skin feels like it's breathing well underneath it. It fills up my pores really nicely like a primer,  but doesn't clog them at all. Makeup wears well over it and it holds up to intense sweating. 🍹 🍹It feels a little thick,  but it spreads so nicely and absorbs fast.  It has a slight white cast at first, but then it dries down invisibly and with a matte finish. It has a barely there minty scent. Reapplication is really easy,  it doesn't pill or act weird when you layer it. 🍹 🍹My only complaint is that it will sometimes make me feel a bit dry by the end of the day,  but it's not as bad as other mineral sunscreens. I can usually prevent it by adding a few extra layers of hydration.  This would be particularly good for normal, combination or oily skin types, but if you have dehydration issues like I do or tend towards dry,  might not be for you. I do find it to be gentle and soothing, so I would recommend this as an option for other rosaceans given the rest of the ingredients are safe for them.  It does contain some essential oils, like bergamot. 🍹 🍹It's not my holy grail,  but it's definitely one I would like to always have around.

Provides UV SPF 50+ PA ++++ protection and heat aging care by cooling down the temp of sun exposed skin by 5°C! It actually cools your skin down a few degrees!! Sounds crazy, but I SWEAR I noticed my face was cooler than my body, because I had only applied it on my face and not my body at the time. 🤗🙌 Contains Centella Asiatica, which I LOVE because of it's awesome soothing benefits for sensitive skin, as well as all skin types, making this sunscreen great for all skin types! 👍🏼🙌🏼 Has a nice, not thick but not too thin texture, light scent, and absorbs wonderfully. Doesn't leave a white cast, and provides moisture as well as anti-aging/photo-aging skincare. There also isn’t a sunscreen scent!I’m not sure if it’s just an American sunscreen thing or not. 😂 It applies smoothly and doesn’t pill/ball up (which was my main problem with my last sunscreen). But I’m not sure if it helps cools my skin with the sun (temperatures higher than 5 degrees Celsius) like it claims. ········· Overall, I would definitely purchase this! Applied all over face and neck after moisturizer (no makeup applied on top). Using my usual amount of sunscreen (US quarter to half dollar size), I was left with a faint gray undertone which usually happens when I encounter white cast from sunscreen. I tried using this with various moisturizers and essences to minimize the cast but I had no luck. Even after rubbing in as much as possible, I could still detect the faint gray tint to my skin. I didn't notice my skin feeling any cooler than usual either after being exposed to the sun. ✒️ Final Thoughts: As far as my skin type (combo-sensitive), the sunscreen did not irritate my skin and provided mild hydration. Sadly for my experience with the product, I cannot recommend it for anyone with medium-dark to deep skin. There will be white cast if you are applying a substantial amount of sunscreen to your face/neck/chest. I wish it was more cosmetically elegant as I do like other offerings from this brand. I cannot speak to how it will look after makeup is applied over it as it's far too hot for me personally to wear right now. I plan to try it again (in cooler weather) under my makeup routine to see if my feelings change. ***No white cast is likely very possible for pale to fair skin tones. As I'm in the darker toned skin range, this claim was not true for me.***

I can say that this sunscreen has met my expectations. This is a physical sunscreen with a light floral scent and is very creamy. Once the sunscreen is absorbed into the skin there’s no white cast left behind. I have oily combination skin and this leaves my face hydrated but matte. This makes a great base for foundation. I’ve been trying out the Make P:rem UV Defense Me Blue Ray Sun Cream for a couple weeks, and have to say that it’s not bad! I hate sunscreen in general - most formulas break me out and/or irritate my skin, some just leave an unacceptable white cast that even my pale skin can’t pull off. But this really seems like a nice formulation. The creamy liquid reminds me of something similar to the Biore Gel sunscreens in texture - but it’s smooth and spreads onto my skin evenly. I detect a light and fresh scent but it disappears quickly. It hardly noticeable. The sunscreen leaves a slight white cast when applied, but it does disappear for the most part once it sets and dries down. My only minor complaint is the “cooling” effect this particular sunscreen has. It claims to cool down skin temperature of skin while being exposed to the sun.
