Combination skin is both a blessing and a curse. On the plus side, it’s not super sensitive so I can exfoliate and peel and layer 12 products, to my heart’s contend! The down side is, by 10am, my T-zone is an shiny mess. The Real Barrier Control-T Moisturizer promises to balance sebum oil while lightly moisturizing - sounds like this is right up my alley. For the most part, it is! It absolutely controls shine! We like that! The bottle has a pump! We like that, as well!Unfortunately, this left the drier parts of my face, too dry. We don’t like that! Now, if I was dealing with crazy hormonal acne or had really oily skin, I would love this moisturizer! The other issue was the consistency - for a “lightweight moisturizer” it was quite rich. Color me surprised when I realized this rich lotion wasn’t keeping my dry patches, at bay. But again, it definitely controlled oil and shine, so I’m not sure what magic this is. And a note about ingredients - this lotion had A LOT! More then I would know what to do with! Of course alcohol was in there, but there was also lavender and citrus oils - known irritants, you guys! I didn’t notice much of a scent, but that doesn’t mean it’s not there. All I know is, this one is a pass for me.

I received this @atopalmusa moisturizer from @0.8l_usa at a discounted price to review and I’ve enjoyed it so far. It is a lightweight moisturizer that sinks in well. I’ve tried it during the day and night, and think it is more of a daytime moisturizer for me. During the evening I find I have to apply a lot to feel like I’m getting enough from it. I also like to mix in a tea tree oil with my evening moisturizer, but it doesn’t seem to mix well with this one. I had been using the Swanicoco A.C Control Care Emulsion before starting testing of this, and it actually reminds me a lot of this Atopalm moisturizer. However, the Swanicoco one mixes better with the oil and I think is a little more hydrating. If you were thinking about getting this moisturizer I think it is great so far and definitely like it from my first impressions.

They also soothe and calm the skin with Calendula, Witch Hazel Leaf Water and Tea Tree extract that can soothe irritated skin and protect the skin from environmental stresses such as air pollution and dirt. Also, The moisturizer contains five different form of Hyaluronic acid which consists of Hyaluronic acid, hydrolyzed Glucosaminoglycans, Sodium Hyaluronate Crosspolymer, Sodium Hyaluronate and Hydrolyzed Hyaluronic Acid. Real Barrier Control-T Moisturizer is a bit different than another moisturizer that I have used in the past. This is specific for oily skin and I do see a difference in using this moisturizer compare to others. This one is perfect for the summer when the skin becomes more oily from humidity and rising temperatures. I find this works well under makeup and with a sunscreen too. I had no problems with it ruining my makeup or caking on when applying powder. I do think this is more suited for oily and combination skin but not for dry/ severely dry skin since this isn't added oils to fight dry skin. I also like the scent of the moisturizer since it has a sweet candy smell to me. I give this a 9.8/10. Beauty review time! I am testing out real barriers team Moisture Control moisturizer. It's good for the T-Zone that can be prone to acne or oily. After a week of use I have decided that this is probably not a good fit for me. The moisturizer feels like a matte cream and although I like that it's not greasy, I just need some more moisture even though even I experienced a few breakouts now and then. this would be a great cream for teenagers who are having breakouts on their forehead nose area or chin.

Does Control T mean control the T zone oiliness? Or does it reference Tea tree oil? Usually I can figure out product names but this @atopalmusa real barrier control T moisturizer has me a bit confused since it doesn't smell like tea tree to me and some of the other control T products don't contain tea tree (this one do tho) . . . Anyways this moisturizer is formulated for those with oily, acneic and dehydrated skin. My skin leans dry dehydrated so I wanted to try this to see if it was good under makeup i.e. would it keep me matte. I would say it does an OK job of this but if definitely feels like something an oily skinned person would be more comfortable with as it is a bit sticky on me. . . . The star ingredients to help control oil are: Evening Primrose Flower Extract, Kudzu Root Extract, Pine Leaf Extract, Ulmus and Clover Flower Extract . . . For helping with calming and soothing acneic skin (which is something atopalm is good for imo) we get: Calendula, Witch Hazel Leaf Water and Tea Tree Extract  . . While using this, I have noticed that my T-zone is less oily. My skin feels non-greasy and hydrated throughout the day. What I love most about this moisturizer is how quick it absorbs! I was looking for a new moisturizer for oily skin that wouldnt break me out but also not dry me out. Thankfully 08L came through at the right time. This moisturizer gives me a oil free day and feels weightless, plus it absorbs very quickly without any residue. It has a slight lemon grass and maybe tea tree scent but its pretty light so it doesn't bother me at all.

Real Barrier Control T Moisturizer is great after an all over threading and my face needs a moisturizer. This calms my face down especially the redness and puffy areas that you get from pulling the hair out. I have started to use this as one of the my summer moisturizers , because it helps with the oiliness of my face and keeps my face matte looking. Has a slight citrus smell. Very clean and refreshing. I used the control T cleanser by Real Barrier and that helped and then saw this moisturizer and was so happy I got to try it. This moisturizer is a game changer for oily skin. It’s lightweight and milky non-sticky formula absorbs fast and leaves my skin hydrated and non-greasy. I use a B.B. cream during the day and with other moisturizers which made my skin more oily I couldn’t last more than a couple hours before I had to reapply. I now can go longer without reapplying. Of course it’s the summer so you still sweat but with this moisturizer at least sebum is being more controlled and your skin is better balanced. I’ve been looking for a light weight moisturizer for the summer, so I hoped the Real Barrier Control-T Moisturizer would fit the bill. This moisturizer is for both oily and acne prone skin. Normally I have combo skin, but lately (not sure if it’s from the slight change in climate or hormones or stress or what), I’ve been breaking out more than I normally do, so I hoped that this product came through on its promises. The Real Barrier Control-T Moisturizer promises to strengthen the weakened skin barrier with its MLE patented formula. It has an anti sebum complex to control sebum. It also has five hyaluronic acids in its formula. This moisturizer is light weight and quickly sinks into my skin. It has a very faint lemon scent, which I really enjoy. Since incorporating this product into my skin care routine, I have seen my breakouts improve dramatically. This moisturizer isn’t oily whatsoever, which I appreciate. I think a few products I’ve tried recently (not this one) have been partially to blame for my breakouts and this moisturizer helped me to combat the blemishes.
