I love testing sunscreens. I am always wanting to find more that I like, and couldn’t pass up a chance for a sunscreen to review from @0.8l_usa. In their description of this sunscreen the mention that it has zinc oxide, but it does also have octyl methoxycinnamate so I believe it is a mixed organic and inorganic sunscreen. Additionally, I believe this is one of the ingredients banned in Hawaii as it can harm the coral reefs which I did not initially realize... I will admit I do not do enough research on sunscreens in this respect to be sure I am using coral safe sunscreens, and I also do not know how much we have to be sure to not use such chemicals if not near coral reefs? (If you have info on this please share!) Anyway, I’ve included images of me halfway through application and once the sunscreen is applied so you can see. I do feel this has some white cast when applying in amounts to try to get full protection, and it does feel somewhat heavy/tacky on the skin. I wouldn’t be opposed to trying this more in cooler weather, but it’s not the best in the heat. Overall this sunscreen is okay, but definitely not a big winner. Also this is listed at $48!!! I bought this for $3.99 but will definitely not repurchase for $48. If you saw it somewhere for $3.99 though, it’s not bad 😜

It’s a light, non-greasy moisturizer with SPF protection neutralizes free radicals and provides protection from the harmful UVA and UVB rays of the sun. This nourisher will keep skin hydrated and protected all day long without clogging pores. Well, this has been the fourth product from this skincare company, and so far I have been very impressed by all of them 😍 Not only do the products do as they say, but they have never irritated my skin-especially since I have rosacea - and they are really suited for my oily skin. This sun shield could double as a lightweight moisturizer, and doesn’t leave a shine, or a greasy residue. *I received discounted product in exchange for my review* ☀️HOW TO USE: apply to skin before sun exposure, reapply after getting wet or being in the sun for more than an hour. ☀️PROS: - nice packaging and bottle - easy to use - easy to read instructions - nice consistency when coming out of bottle ☀️CONS: - only has SPF 30, which isn’t very high. Higher SPF’s are recommended now for prolonged sun exposure - this product did not work to keep me shielded from the sun, despite continued reapplication - comes off extremely easy in water - didn’t care for the chemical smell of the product ☀️Overall I was really disappointed in this product. It was not high enough SPF to go out into the sun, it came off as soon as I got into the water and reapplication to did nothing to protect my skin. My face was glowy and felt moisturized. It does leave a bit of a white cast but I didn’t mind overall it’s a great sun shield and I recommend it. This product retails for $48

On to the claims of this product: ☀️ light, non-greasy moisturizer with spf30 ☀️protects against UVA & UVB rays & neutralizes free radicals ☀️contains vitamin e & aloe Vera extract to soothe, hydrate & nourish the skin I know I’ve been doing a lot of sunscreen reviews lately, but sunscreen is really important to me. This is a broad spectrum sunscreen with spf30. The consistency is thick, white and very creamy. It spreads very easily and absorbs into the skin quickly leaving no white cast behind. I normally go for an spf 50, but this is fine for indoor use. There’s also no stickiness/tackiness left behind. I’ll continue to use this sunscreen, but if I’m going to be outdoors I’ll use a different sunscreen with a higher spf.

I’m a bad girl. I know you’re supposed to put sunscreen on your face daily, but admittedly I haven’t been. When I saw this Ling Sun Shield up at a trial fee on 0.8L, I jumped on it. The sunscreen is a bit thick, despite its claim that it is lightweight. It didn’t leave my skin feeling oily, which is important. I wish this came in a spray pump, as it was a bit messy to pour it out and apply. There wasn’t much of a scent to this, and it did protect my skin. I haven’t tried this yet for a day at the beach, so I can’t speak to how long the sun protection lasts for. There was a white cast to this cream, but it faded relatively quickly. Overall, I am no guru of sunscreen but this seemed decent. Thanks to 0.8L for this in exchange for my honest review.

It's a good sunscreen, I think it has some white cast but I'm pretty white to begin with. I like this brand, and I while I would buy this sunscreen again, I think there are others I like more. Easy to apply, which I like, and I think it's a good size for my handbag, but a travel size tube might be better. Overall, thumbs up, but not a new holy grail.

I have very extremely fair & sensitive skin, I usually burn 🔥 if I’m outside in the sun for awhile without wearing Sunscreen. But since I’ve been applying this to My face I haven’t been getting burned, so I have to say that this wonderful product is working just exactly likes it’s supposed to! The formula is pretty awesome too, it absorbs really nicely and although the Sunscreen is white as long as it’s rubbed in good it don’t make your skin look like a ghost which is a plus!! Also, even though it’s a liquid it’s kinda thick so a lil bit goes along ways, it’s not really runny! So you do wanna apply this 15 minutes before going out in the sun, if your swimming 🌊🏊‍♀️ then you will need to re-apply again every 40 minutes! If your not in water swimming 🏊‍♀️ 🌊 then you should be good to go, just apply every 2 hours. 👌🏻💦😀 This is wonderful for sensitive skin it hasn’t caused Me to break out irritates My skin at all, its a fabulous Sunscreen and stays on really good compared to other Sunscreens that I’ve used!! Sun Shield SPF 30 by LING Skincare Main ingredients: Zinc Oxide, Vitamin E, Aloe Vera Extract. It has creamy texture and light scent. It is 120ml. I didn’t get sunburn but reapplied every 4 or 5 hours if I stay under the sun during daytime. It leaves white cast though. I wish it is contained in tube and 100ml for traveling purpose.

I honestly don't know where to begin this sunscreen is so horrible the smell is bad I don't know if I got a bad batch or what but it stinks and it turns your face white when you put it on and you'll break out because it's so really only it might my work for some people but it doesn't work for me I want to thank 0.8L and Ling skin care for letting me try this sunscreen I hope all my beauty lovers had better luck than me let me know your thoughts 😘
