My review for Osulloc tea in tangerine flavour, this one is interesting since I've never tasted tangerine tea, nor Jeju tangerine. It's smooth like silk and taste like tangerine, I wanted to be bold and didn't expect what this will taste like. In the end, loved it! Review: Osulloc has really amazing green tea. All grown in the island of jeju, south of Korea. I personally like their normal green tea called sajek and wedding blend. Not so much this samdayeon blend. The tea is dark roasted with a blend of tangerine peels. The flavor is mild and the citrus notes are light as well. Lighter than I prefer. I like to chill this drink and add a bit of sugar to add more sweetness and bring out the flavor. Each box comes with 10 individual packets. Overall out of the 5 blend I've tried from them. This might be bottom 2, with the fermented samdayeon running last. Osulloc fruit blended tea Samdayeon Jeju Tangerine has the beautiful fragrance of the tangerine when you first peel the fruit. The citrus smell is fresh and crisp. The taste is the mild flesh of the fruit, light and slightly tangy sweet in the end. This to me would make a wonderful ice tea with some honey. I don’t like many blended teas especially fruits. This one actually impressed me enough that I would purchase this as a rotational tea in my tea cabinet. Thank you Osulloc and 0.8L for the trial fee of $3.99 so that I could try this premium brand of tea and give my honest opinion and review. All pictures and words are my own.

Very nice packaging and the tea is fragrant even through the foil wrapper. The flavor does have a tangerine taste to it but it also has essences of other high quality fruits and spices. This also seemed to help me clear headed and made my stomach more regular as an after dinner drink which helped me manage my weight much easier.

I liked OSULLOC Fermented Tea Samdayeon so much when this Samdayeon Jeju Tangerine blended tea became available, I jumped at a time chance to try another flavor of tea by OSULLOC! I absolutely love this tea! From the moment I opened up my first individually foil wrapped tea bag all I could smell was a delicious tea with a wonderful scent of tangerine. OSULLOC makes the smoothest tea I've ever tasted which has never been bitter or sour in the ones I have tried so far and I do hope to be able to try all the flavors OSULLOC has to offer. You can add more brewing time and less water to make a heartier cup of this tea. I only used a small amount of honey, in my cup of tea, because I actually like the flavor and it really doesn't need a sweetener to me. I like the fact that this fruit blended tea is organic and made with green post- fermented tea leaves, Jeju tangerines that are grown "in the warm sunshine of Jeju Island" and matured in cedar barrels for 100 days. The Jeju tangerine is different from other tangerines that we are used to seeing. Their color is dark green and has a heartier taste and flavor. OSULLOC uses their on special technique and skills to make their wonderful tea using a perfect ratio and blending. I agree with the statement on the box, "The beauty of life provided by tea from Jeju". If you like to try different types and flavors of tea, I encourage you to try this tea. It has a heavenly scent and flavor which is so smooth. I would highly recommend others to try tea by OSULLOC. It was hot outside today. Once you open a pack you get hit by this lovely fragrance, I knew I was gonna like it. Decided to brew it cold and glad that I did.. it was quite refreshing. I don’t think I would’ve enjoyed as much if it was warm. Saying that I think this would be nice hot served with a couple of cookies on the side. Yum!

OSULLIC Tea from Jeju Island since 1979 The tea is blended with Samdayeon Jeju Tangerine. The box says it is a post fermentation tea which is matured in a cedar barrel with verdant hints and the juicy essence of the Jeju tangerine. I’m a real tea lover, but I’m picky. Generally I like a robust tea with lots of flavor and I have about 3-4 favorites so I was excited to try this tea. Today is Wednesday and I ordered this tea over the previous weekend. I can hardly believe I’ve already enjoyed a double cup. This is a light tea and when I saw how it brewed up (I did brew it longer than it said since I like tea strong), I was skeptical. However, I was pleasantly surprised. It has a delicate flavor with after-notes of the tangerine. At first I couldn’t taste the tangerine but when I stopped drinking I had a very pleasant taste of tangerine in my mouth. Now, a few minutes later, I still have that lovely taste. When I took my photos my daughters ocicat, Kopi, started sniffing the box so I took his photo when he looked toward me. I’d gladly purchase this tea if it’s available in the US. I think it would make a great after dinner tea. I purchased this tea on 0.8Liter for $3.99. I received it in 4 days. The Osulloc Company must have spent a small fortune getting it to me so fast. This Osulloc Fruit Blended Tea SAMDAYEON JeJu Tangerine is a Fermented Tea that has a nice tangerine scent that you definitely notice when you open its individual pack. The JeJu tea leaves are made with JeJu tangerines. The leaves are wrapped in a mesh wrap and I noticed that there are actual tangerine seeds mixed with the leaves! (See photo) As with any tea, let seep for 5-10 minutes, add your sweetener if desired, and sip! This tea has a light tangerine taste. It is a nice mellow tea for anytime of the day. I love Osculloc’s packaging for their tea storage. Each Osculloc tea brand come with 10 individually wrapped tea for freshness.

I've been so lucky to sample 3 @osulloc_official varieties thanks to @08l_usa. The third of the bunch is this Blended Samdayeon Tangerine tea. It's the same samdayeon tea from last week plus tangerine. This would be nice year-round but I think it's perfect for summer. The samdayeon tea is so crisp and fresh and the tangerine flavor pairs with it well. The citrus is dominant but not overwhelming. As with the other two, I'm blown away by the quality of tea leaves. They're fresh, moist and have vibrant color and fragrance. The quality of Osulloc tea is evident in the packaging alone. Each tea bag is made of beautiful silk mesh that won't tear or compromise flavor the way cheap parchment bags do. The foil packets are sealed shut to ensure that your tea leaves are nice and fresh. (I really can't stress enough how fresh these leaves were. Just look at the vivid colors in my pictures! Wow!) They even use a double-layered box to further ensure that each cup is fresh, full of flavor and fragrant. Each box of 10 bags retails for $33. I got an amazing deal when I paid a tiny trial fee of just $3.99. Many Osulloc teas supposedly aren't available in the US, but I found products with this name on Amazon. I'm not a avid tea drinker and I probably have non existing knowledge of tea but I will try my best to share my thoughts on @osulloc_official Fruit Blend Tea-Samdayeon Jeju Tangerine. . I have been really trying to cut down my coffee drinking habits for sometime now and I have been often replacing my late afternoon coffee with tea (usually green tea). So, naturally, when the tea campaign opened up, I was immediately intrigued and I had to try it out. . Can we talk about the packaging? So fancy...comes in sturdy 2 piece box contains 10 tea sachets and they are individually packaged in foil. Extra brownie points for thoughtful packaging! . Upon opening, the aroma is so lovely. I prefer my tea hot so I poured hot water over the tea sachets and let it steep for about 3 minutes per instruction. I tested few other ways and my personal preference was to steep it for about 5-6 minutes.  It taste very delicate no bitterness whatsoever. And the temperature is cooled to almost perfect for me. The mild green tea flavor is perfectly blended with hint of citrus sweetness. .  It's definitely not your everyday tea because of hefty price tag but I think this would be a wonderful gift or cup of tea to someone who enjoys tea. . Osulloc Jeju Fermented Tea with Jeju Tangerine (courtesy of @0.8L_USA) This is my third tea from Osulloc and it is probably my favorite so far ~ This is made with samdayeon fermented tea leaves, using organic green tea leaves grown in Jeju Osulloc tea garden that is fermented with bacillus subtilis and aged for 100 days in cedar barrels. Similar to the Samdayeon Cedar Fermented Tea, except this version has added Jeju tangerine (gamgyul) to this tea ~ Jeju tangerines were historically considered royal fruits and gifted seasonally to the royal family and not made available to regular folk. I can smell the citrus scent right away as I remove the pyramid shaped tea bag from the individually foil packet. I like this tea served over ice best ~ I first brew it in hot water and then pour it over ice ~ unlike the other teas, I can continue to brew this for a while and the taste can be a delicate tangerine tea or a bit stronger. It is never bitter or sour. This tea has a natural sweetness to it so I do not need to add any sugar. In the cooler months, I am sure I would like it hot, but for summertime heat, there is nothing like a orange favored ice tea! ✨OSULLUC BLENDED TEA✨ . Samdayeon Jeju Tangerine . As an avid tea lover, I’m always looking for new flavors. I recently ran out of my favorite black tea blended with strawberries so I’m on the hunt for a replacement. . This tea is fermented and aged in a cedar barrel. Tangerine from Jeju island is also added for a refreshing citrus taste. . When I first opened this tea bag I was hit with a very sweet citrus scent. It reminded me of candy I used to eat as a kid. Mmmmm needless to say I got super excited how this tea will taste. The tea itself is encased in a silk satchel and looks very lux. . Upon steeping my silky bag of goodness, the warm water started transforming into a light orange color. The directions say to steep for 2 minutes but I couldn’t really taste the flavor so I let it steep for 5 minutes. . The tea itself had an interesting taste. It had a sweet start and finished with a oak/woody taste. I was a little disappointed the tangerine wasn’t as strong as it smelt. Overall, it was a nice tea to try but I won’t repurchase unless I’m in Korea since the price is more reasonable there. . Today I will be reviewing a high quality of Korean tea from the Osulloc brand. I received this tea for a trial price from 0.8l in exchange for my honest opinions. The Samdayeon Jeju Tangerine tea is a fermented tea like many of their other tea flavors. This particular flavor is a mixture of the deep aromatics from cedar trees and the light citrus scents of tangerine 🍊 This tea, as in some of their other fermented teas, is aged in a cedar barrel to endow the tea with both cedar flavors and to ferment it. The packaging for this tea is very sharp, modern, and is of high quality. Each pyramid tea bag is individually wrapped in a sealed pouch allowing the tea leaves to remain fresh despite opening the outer container. The instructions on the box carefully tell you to brew the tea for two minutes at 90C (194F). This tea smells strongly of freshly peeled tangerines and it is incredibly refreshing. I did add a packet of raw sugar to the several cups of tea I’ve enjoyed thus far but it can be enjoyed without tea. The tea brews to a beautiful amber brown color once it is fully brewed. The flavor is nice, light with a subtle hint of tangerine and sweetness without being overwhelming. I am a tea lover and absolutely loved the taste of this tea. I am really happy that I had the chance to try this tea because it is really refreshing and it warms you up. Now a box of this tea on amazon with ten pyramid tea satchels costs about 27.00. That is a bit steep but I would repurchase them as a treat.
