I’m not going to mince words with this review. I tried the Clear Anti-Acne Serum by EUI Laboratories, once. Why once? Because the putrid smell of this serum was seriously the worst skincare experience of my life - and I should know, I’m old! The scent was comparable to rotten eggs which is odd, considering this serum contains no sulfur. It does contain 5% Salicylic Acid which is pretty impressive for an over-the-counter product. It also claims to rebalance your sebum production (?), soothe skin with Allatoin, and provide anti-bacterial benefits by way of Triclosan. On paper, this product should work. And I really, really wish I could’ve given it a fair chance. Unfortunately for me, this was a one shot deal, and I simply cannot recommend it. The packaging is gorgeous, however. Clearly, looks can be decieving.

I love love love this serum. it really helps clear acne and leaves my complexion firm and noticeably brighter. My face feels like a rose petal and I feel like I am both fighting acne and aging at the same time. The packaging is so luxurious it makes me feel like I'm extremely rich. I love the texture of the serum its opaque eggshell color and thick but immediately absorbed by the skin as if my face had been craving this stuff. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND EUI ACNE SERUM. Definitely made my holy grail list!

This product by EUI Laboratories was kind of disappointing. Mainly because you have to through the usual purging before you see results and I honestly didn’t want to go through that.I’ve been using it for about a week, I know that’s a short time to give up on it.I would usually apply this in the morning after my toner. The smell is horrendous 🤮 It has mostly natural ingredients. It has salicylic acid which is really good for acne. It comes in 3 little Bottles. The packaging was super cute and sleek. I’m sure if you stay patient and consistent with this product it might work for you but I just didn’t have the patience. Clear Acne Serum: This serum is quickly becoming a holy grail for me! I recently had a huge breakout and this serum was delivered to me right in time. It contains salicylic acid which is know to unclog pores and control sebum. Since I have dry skin I was nervous that this serum might dry my skin out more but there are actually moisturizing ingredients included so that your skin still feels nice and hydrated. When you apply the serum there is a strong cooling feeling and the scent is very “minty”. If you are sensitive to scents I would say to stay away from the serum because of how strong the scent could be but I’m actually prone to get headaches with some scents and this serum didn’t cause one whatsoever. EUI Lab Acne Serum . Whenever @0.8l_usa offers an EUI Lab product, I always try and set an alarm to see if I can snag it for trial because I really do love the quality of their products. This is my 7th product from this company that I’ve tried – my favorite so far has been their Hyaluronic Serum followed by their Hyaluronic Hydro Cream. EUI Lab Acne Serum comes in the same packaging as their Hyaluronic Serums – 3 small silver bottles with pumps to keep them air tight/sealed and fresh. I really like that instead of one big bottle they come in smaller doses, so I can use them more at my leisure without worrying about their shelf life if opened. I was really excited about this product since I still get acne (uuugh yep, adult acne sucks!) and I wanted something that I could add into my skincare regimen that would layer easily. I use this after my toner (varies weekly depending on active acids used) and it dries pretty quickly which is good since I hate waiting for products to absorb/dry before I can layer another. Sadly, this has the worst menthol/medicine gone bad smell. Sort of like sour milk + menthol ciggs being rubbed on your face. I was hoping I’d get used to the smell, but it really is quite disgusting and off putting since I mainly put this on my T-zone which includes my nose sadly… . Now, does this product work? With the powerhouse ingredient list of Cutipure, Triclosan, and Salycylic acid I was hoping it would. I’m honestly not sure if it has worked or not since I have been experiencing breakouts on my T-zone since I started using it, mainly my forehead. It’s supposed to remove dead skin cells that clog pores so maybe this is just my skin purging as the dead skin is removed since it is primarly on areas I already breakout in, but it’s too soon to tell. I’ve used this product for a month and haven’t finished one bottle yet, so I can’t tell for sure this is causing it or even working. I also haven’t noticed any reduction in sebum on my T-zone since by the end of the day it’s shiny through my makeup. I’ll continue to use it, and I’ll update my rating if things change – also no clue why they ask us to rate nourishment for this product… Due to the overpowering scent, I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone, but I’m going to continue using it as it does semi-fade. . 💜 I was really excited to try EUI Lab’s Clear Acne Serum through 0.8L because I got a nasty new breakout the morning that it arrived. I’m 28 and still struggle with acne and redness. I’ve tried a ton of products that tend to work at first but then my skin gets kind of used to it and my acne comes back. Disclaimer: I received a set of the serum for a trial fee through 0.8L in exchange for an honest review. 💜 The Product: EUI Laboratoire’s Clear Acne Serum claims to be a long-term solution for acne prone skin. The ingredients, as listed on the box: Cutipure CLR (2.1%): Reduces the number of pimples, regulates sebum production, and has anti-inflammatory and antimicrobal properties Allatoin (0.2%): Helps reduce acne scars and redness, and helps skin shed dead skin cells and grow new ones while providing moisture Triclosan (0.2%): Antimicrobal for anti-inflammation Salicylic Acid (0.5%): Controls oil and combats acne 💜 First impressions: It was packaged well and included a list of the ingredients and their benefits. The box comes with three 10ml bottles but a little bit goes a long way. The instructions say to use 1-2 drops, and I found that two pumps were enough to cover my whole face. It has a slightly unpleasant smell (kind of like Icy Hot), but it goes away after a few minutes. The first time I used it, my face felt tingly so I was worried my face would be red since I have sensitive skin, but surprisingly it was not. In fact, I’ve noticed that using this serum has really helped calm my redness. 💜 Use: I first used the serum during my nightly routine before going to bed, and already by the next morning some of my breakouts appeared smaller and less red. I continued using the serum in the morning and at night, and within a week that nasty breakout was gone. My face feels much smoother, and it has even helped reduce some discoloration from previous breakouts. I was impressed with how well it worked. After almost 3 weeks it is still working well. The entire time I’ve only had 2 very small pimples which went away after a day. (See before and after pictures). I did start to experience some dryness after 2 weeks but this was easily remedied by using more moisturizer. 💜 Final Verdict: I’d normally be hesitant to spend $39 since the bottles are quite small, but a little bit does go a long way. I use it 2x a day and still haven’t finished the first bottle. The skeptic in me still wants to see how well the serum will work long-term, but if it continues to work as well as it has these past few weeks, I will definitely repurchase. I’d especially recommend this acne treatment for others who have sensitive acne-prone skin and who have tried a ton of other products since it contains many anti-inflammatory ingredients and ingredients I haven’t seen in often in other products.

My first impressions: many of you know that I suffer from acne and that I always live in a battle with the outbreaks a few weeks ago I have been able to control them very well but lately the face returned to theirs since I am in constant stress due to exams and Those things, when I saw this campaign I certainly signed up because I've always had some product that helps us control the pimples when they leave us because although I take Zinc and I have controlled a lot, stress often can more than any product . The combination of this serum is a little strong but the good thing is that it is not irritating, I am using it and it does not irritate me at all. I have some active sprouts but I have seen an improvement when using this product I can’t tell you if it fights acne from within but if I have seen improvement with the already active outbreaks. The product comes in a box with 3 separate bottles that contain the product I think it's a good thing because it keeps it cooler. I RECOMMEND IT? yes and more for oily skin with those active sprouts since from what I have seen it goes very well but keep in mind that I don’t know how it goes in the skins that have severe acne.

MY THOUGHTS: This serum spreads easily and my skin absorbs it quickly.  The smell is quite strong, it kind of smells like menthol which I enjoy, it does go away after a few minutes.  Upon application of the serum I noticed my a very slight burning or tingling sensation, but not to the point where it is hurting or that you need to remove it.  I actually like the sensation I felt because it makes me feel like the product is working and attacking the acne. I do like this product and feel that it did help with not only my acne but my son as well.  I have a 16 year old son who is struggling with acne. The before and after pictures shown are of my son (he didn’t want his whole face shown), you can clearly see that this definitely helped to clear up his acne. I have been testing out the Clear Acne Serum from EUI Lab for the last month or so, and unfortunately, I don’t think that I can recommend this product. It did nothing to clear up my acne. I have been battling small red breakouts on my forehead for a number of weeks, and have been applying this serum to that area religiously twice a day, with no impact whatsoever. It’s actually quite frustrating because I could have been using something that I can rely on to clear it up, instead of trying out this product. It really is a shame, because it has hard-hitting ingredients in it, and the packaging is beautiful and practical (three smaller, airless bottles to keep the ingredients fresh). It claims that it is a long-term solution for acne prone skin, and is formulated with some of the most effective anti-acne ingredients which help remove dead skin cell that clog pores and lead to breakouts. It contains Cutipure (2.1%), Allatoin (0.2%), Triclosan (0.2%), and Salicylic Acid (0.5%). Also, I just have to talk about the smell. It smells absolutely awful, like, almost unusably awful. I have no idea what is contributing to the smell, but all I can think about when I use it is dirty gym socks (sorry). I appreciate them not adding an artificial fragrance which is terrible for the skin, however, it was very unpleasant to use this product, and every day I dreaded putting it on. So far I've been loving EUI Labs' products, I have combo-oily skin that is acne prone and this was screaming my name. It's more opaque instead of clear and stinks something fierce. It smells like apple cider vinegar initially upon application but it morphs into a stinky smell, almost like dirty butt. No joke, my boyfriend thought so as well. Luckily, the smell goes away pretty quickly. This does leave the skin a bit tacky but other than that, I don't notice it's there. I've already used one of the small bottles and I haven't really seen a difference, it's quite hot here and during a hormonal time, it did not seem to help my breakouts. I was kind of disappointed with this product, EUI has legit products but so far, this has done nothing for my skin. **I received this product in exchange for my honest opinion.

This stuff is super strong, so be weary. I have sensitive, acne-prone skin so when I had applied this I could feel a bit of a burn but I was definitely excited for it to target my acne. The first couple of days this stuff worked out so well for me that I actually held off on my prescription acne ointments. I think it is probably too strong to use together with the topical ointments, but it has convinced me to lessen my usage of the prescription stuff I have and use this in between. It is not a miracle worker, and as of recent I have not been using it as often, but I have noticed it does and can make quite a difference so I would definitely recommend others to try it. But I do want to reiterate that it is quite strong stuff and that you should be careful when using this if you are sensitive and have a sensitivity to smell as well, because the smell matches the acidic strength. The packaging is also really beautiful and so smart, considering it is placed in 3 different travel sized bottles to keep the product fresh.
