My husband ABSOLUTELY loved his box of goodies from @08liter and @Apothecary87! The balm had a perfect consistency and didn't dry stiff. It made his beard soft and shiny! The only thing he really didn't care for was the scent. In his words, "I smell like I just ate damn pancakes!😂I wish it was unscented, or had a more "masculine" scent!!" The wooden comb included worked great on both his hair and his beard. This is a very nice product to give your beard light, natural hold. It conditioned the hair and skin real nice and it has very pleasant manly scent to it. And together with the comb I highly recommend this product for bearded guys.

💙 RESULTS: 🙌Love the font and color packaging of this Beard Balm😁🙌. It feels a mix of 👴old-timey and 🎨 art nouveau style. 💖💆The comb is gorgeous! Plus there are pictures of an attractive 💪tattooed man on the box, so I like that very much...😉 . 👎That being said💙 I was bummed about the scent...or rather, lack thereof. There was no fragrance, aside from a 🙊faint, musty-ish smell that I didn't like.💖 And what I typically enjoy most about using man-targeted products is a 🍃🍂cologne scent so hat was a bummer! 😊+🚫🌿=😞😭 . 👍💖What I💙did enjoy about this balm is that: 1⃣ It made shaving my legs a little less boring💖(do you also feel like you're wasting time while shaving, or just me??🙈) & 2⃣ It left my skin super soft,☁️😀got a 🙌 really smooth shave, and it moisturized at the same time💦💙 . 👌Overall a 👨good product and enjoyable used. 💙Not a repurchase item for me, but so happy I got to try it!💖✨I will pass this on to someone who looks a little stubbly...😁 Thank you @08liter & @apothecary87 !😊💙✨

This is my handsome brother in law, Matt, who graciously accepted the challenge of testing this beard cream courtesy of Apothecary 87 and 0.8L. Matt said that he loved the packaging and the nostalgic feel of this British product. The comb is very nice for styling the beard hair (as well as the hair on his head). He mentioned how using the beard cream (which is basically a conditioning styling cream) made his beard soft and shiny, polished and refined. He also loved the vanilla tobacco scent which is perfect juxtaposition of sweet and manly. I'm not quite how I could have won this campaign but I certainly made my BF really happy. 😬 He is what you called a low-maintanace type of guy, besides using the #sheetmasks I threw at him and eventually start "stealing" my favorite masks, but he has been eyeing styling products from this brand for a while. 🤓 @apothecary87 is a U.K.-based company focus on hair, beard and shave products. 💇🏻💇🏼‍♂️They have a great story about how the brand is founded on their "about us" page. They also have an interesting "The Man Club". 👏🏻 The beard balm (retails £16) comes in this black metallic tube. I think the design is really nice. 👌🏻 It has, as one would expect, a balm-like texture. It barely has any scent. The balm is to "keep the beard healthy by softening and conditioning the hair. Moisturizing the skin and providing a very light natural hold." 👨🏻 My BF, NH, doesn't have long beard or anything, but he says he really likes how it softened the roots and helps him to shave and style. He even use it on his hair now.👍🏻 I tried some on my hand and hair as well. It certainly feels a bit oily (I have combination to oily skin type btw), but it does its job of conditioning and softening. I don't see much hold for my hair tho. 😯 As for the comb (£12), I love its engraved design and shape. It's convenient to carry around. And I love wooden combs! So I might end up keep the comb myself! 🤐😬 I guess my only problem about it is the price being a bit too high for a comb.

I was so excited to get to try this product on my boyfriend. His beard (or right now just chin blanet & mustache) can get so unruly! It is beautifully packaged with all reusable materials which I appreciate fully and the smell is one I can't quote put my finger on. It reminds me of something from an unpleasant experience. It's not a terrible smell, just one I never thought I'd smell again. It's crazy. He let me apply the balm to his facial hair and was worried at first that it would irritate his skin. He began brushing and the first thing he said was that it was making his unruly hairs stay down. It wasn't greasy and it wasn't super sculpting it was just perfect. When I asked him how his beard felt this morning he said... "Like it was kissed by a thousand butterflies and blessed by a monk on top of a majestic mountain peak where only people who belong to the man club can go." I think that means it's a win!

I absolutely love this!! Its such a great kit for the Manliest Man in your life <3 i unfortunately wish i could keep it because the packaging is so nice and i just love keeping it all together like this BUT, i will be giving this to my dad for his birthday. I think this makes a GREAT gift idea for any man who loves having a beard or facial hair. The beard comb is made of a nice wood, is comfortable to hold, does not seem to have a glossy finish. It looks and feels hand crafted, there are grooves at the bridge of the comb making it comfortable to hold. The teeth glide through hair without any tugging or pulling. Just amazing craftsmanship! I chose this because of my male friends with beads, with full intentions of passing it along to them. Then the product came in and I don't think I'm going to share. I tested the product on my hair, the roots and ends, and it is amazing. My split ends are so smooth and I have no fly aways at the roots. Plus the maple smoke scent is amazing. The texture is thick but not greasy or oily, its creamy and soaks into the hair well. It came with a wonderful little comb as well. My opinion is this is a great product, men with beards will love how well it works for them and woman with unruly hair would love it as well!
