I love having good skin and a good face mask helps me to achieve this. I had the opportunity to try Dr. Pore Tightening-Glacial Clay Facial Mask by @skinnlab_official courtesy of @0.8l_usa through their Try Free campaign. This mask is nice and thick which I like because I don’t like thin facial masks. It has Canadian Glacier clay, Avena Satena (oatmeal), and Tea Tree Oil. It helps to tackle excessive sebum secretion, erases enlarge pores, and prevents blackheads. It comes with a small face spatula so that you can spread the mask onto your skin which I love because it is much easier to clean. This mask has a nice cooling effect as it dries. As with clay masks, as it dries, your skin will get tight as the clay mask is drawing out those impurities that clog your pores. I have large pores so this clay mask helps to minimize them as it cleanses. Once I rinse off the mask, my skin is left hydrated and it doesn’t feel dry. I just use my moisturizer for soft skin.

Loved the clean look of the packaging and that it came with a little spatula type thing. I usually like to use products a few times before I review them but this shipped a lil late(no big deal it happens) so Ive only tried it once. I used the spatula to apply it when I usually use a brush but figured I would try it. I think i applied it too thick it never really dried or got tight like most mask I've used like this. Could be user error lol next time I use it I'll apply it less. It has little bits of oatmeal very small. The mask claims to "tackle the causes of pores and excess sebum secretion, purifies the skin as well as minimize enlarged pores and firms the sagging pore walls" It did pull all the blackheads around my nose out better then any strip or anything I have ever tried. It says you can use it every day. It didn't dry my skin out, it made my face look firmer and moisturized. I would deffinently recommend this for any skin type. The only cons I have is it is took alot of work to get off, I don't like the smell it and it says it leaves a cooling effect after I didn't feel. *this product was sent to me by @0.8l_usa for my honest opinion

Canadian clay wash off mask that cleans deep down into pores. Helping to control excess sebum and shrink pores. Some key ingredients are oatmeal, tea tree oil, and stearic acid. This mask came with a plastic spatula. But I used a brush to apply a layer to my face. Let dry for 10-20 minutes. It took about 12/15 minutes to dry, and then I washed it off with warm water. After completely washing it off, I splashed cold water on my face to help close my pores. Personally I enjoyed the cool sensation while it dried on my face. I also applied this mask on my husbands face. But instead of feeling a cool refreshing sensation. He claimed it felt like it was burning his face off. LOL. Maybe because he's not use to applying masks, or his skin is just super sensitive. 🤷‍♀️ We both see great results. No more shiny oily skin, and smaller pores. And surprisingly my skin was hydrated and didn't get dried out. The only thing I didn't care for was the smell. But it did go away after a while.

Thank you Nicki for another AWESOME review!! This morning I tried the Skin & Lab Dr. Pore Tightening Glacial Clay Facial Mask. It is packaged in a white box with a sage bluish green strip. The same color is coats the interior of the box with white polka dots. A cute surprise. The 100g white jar also has the same colored stripe on the outside. When the jar is opened, there is another protective lid along with an application spoon. The clay mask itself is an olive green color and goes on thickly as you would expect a clay to do. It is a bit more dry than liquid and has some larger particles in it. There is a slight, clean, fragrance if you sniff closely. But once I had applied the mask, I did not notice the fragrance any longer. The instructions said to leave it on for 10 - 15 minutes. However, from the very start, I felt some light burning. My skin is very sensitive, so this is not an uncommon reaction for me to have. Sometimes the sensation ceases after a few minutes. In this case, that burning sensation continued. It neither strengthened nor diminished. Therefore, I only made it to 8 minutes before I needed to wash it off. The mask washed off easily and I continued my normal skin and makeup regiment. I did not have any redness from the product, but my skin appeared a bit dry at the temples. This was quickly remedied with my moisturizer. As I did not have the mask on for the time suggested, and therefore, feel I cannot properly comment on the merits of this mask. I can say, however, that my face did feel soft throughout the day. Dr. Pore Tightening mask application is the same as any other clay mask. There is a spatula included for hygienic application. The mask is thick but goes on smoothly. After application I started to feel a bit of tingling on certain parts of my face where it was a bit sensitive. The feeling did go away as the mask began to dry. It definitely has a tightening effect that last after the mask has been removed. I have never experienced a mask quite like this one. My face feels taut and clean. The combination of Canadian colloidal clay and oatmeal are supposed to keep the skin moist after use. I didn't really get a moist feeling. My face didn't exactly feel dry but still not moist. I like the idea that it eliminates acne-causing waste and oil from the skin and shrinks pores. While deep cleansing it also absorbs excess sebum deep inside pores. I tried Dr. Pore tightening glacial clay face mask and it was so much fun! It smells good and when I put it on it was cooling and soothing, which I've never had from a clay mask before! When I took it off my skin felt soft, smooth, and refreshed! I love this mask and am so glad I tried it.

Sorry folks! I literally had one day to try this product thanks to delivery being late and me being on vacation in another state. My review is short of accuracy, but needs to happen. I won this item from @0.8l_usa for my honest review. I did find that waking up jet lag with tired skin and forgetting to exfoliate whilst being on vacation was a big no no. So I applied this Pore tightening mask this morning- it had a great tea tree smell and it tightened and was removed beautifully! Perfect way to end a stressful day of airline travel! 🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲

The mask comes with a little spoon. It’s great for scooping out the product and also spreading it across the face. The length of the spoon makes it easy to hold.

The GLACIAL CLAY FACIAL MASK purifies the skin, as well as minimizes enlarged pores and firms sagging pore walls. The formula helps to remove oiliness and prevents the appearance of blackheads while leaving a cooling effect after. The mask contains 100 grams (3.52 oz) and has a cooling mixed herbal scent. It also comes with a big spatula. It has a smooth, somewhat gritty texture due to the oats. It also has a burst of hydrating and cooling feeling upon immediate contact with the skin. When first applying, it looks pretty smooth and it’s not heavy on the skin. After it dries down it does become tight but not painfully or uncomfortably so. Recommended use is to apply enough of the clay mask to cover your face after toning your skin. Avoid the eye area. Leave on for 10-15 minutes to dry and then rinse off with clean water. Follow up with moisturizer and other skin care products. It can also be used as a spot treatment on more problematic areas, such as areas that accumulate more oil than others. After using, due to my having dry skin it’s always a struggle to find a clay mask that won’t dry it out further and will actually help my skin. This one, despite drying down entirely, has a burst of moisture at first and after removing it, my skin felt smooth and looked clear. There were no dry patches on my skin and it was easy to apply products after and my skin does not feel or look dehydrated. I don’t have the largest pores, but I do have noticeable ones especially on my nose, so I feel this is helping, slowly but surely to reduce the size of those pores. This also feels amazing for the summer, on very hot days. It’s cooling all the way up until it dries down and feels refreshing. I’d recommend this to anyone, even people with dry and dehydrated skin. What I like: the ingredients in this mask are really a stand-out and the feeling on the skin is so refreshing and not overly drying. It’s cooling and refreshing during the hot weather and left my skin smooth after rinsing it off. It didn’t dry out my skin and it even helped to give some moisture to my skin in the first place. The quality is really great for this product and I think it can really help pores and even things like anti-aging due to the cooling feeling it has on the skin. So the odds where in my favor for this campaign; thanks to @0.8l_usa and SKIN&LAB I got the chance to experience Dr. Pore Tightening Glacial Clay Facial Mask. The mask is supposed to purify, cool, tighten and refine the skin. It's made with key ingredients like Canadian colloidal clay, Avena satiba oatmeal, and tea tree oil. When I tried this mask, it came out of the pot like butter. Such an ease to put on my face. I let it stay on my face for 20 minutes, seriously cause it was starting to tinkle/burn me. I washed it off with warm water and was glad to see that despite having to wash it off earlier than I'd planned, there was no redness or blotchy skin of note. The mask did everything it claimed: I noted slight tightening of my pores, softening of my skin, and gave me a soft glow. Here's what I recommend: please use a small amount of the mask or spot treat if you've got sensitive or dry skin. This is a great treatment for anyone who has oily skin! Enjoy the treatment.

SKIN&LAB focuses to achieve clearer and healthier skin made from natural ingredients, dermatologist-approved and hypoallergenic. Advertises to help control and minimize sebum build-up while detoxifying pores from within to get rid of dead skin cells and other impurities that may cause breakouts with the help of Canadian colloidal clay, oatmeal and tea tree leaf. We recently had a heat wave where our temperature peaked at 115F and being a combination skin, I started feeling my skin became more oilier and drier at the same time, was thinking this would definitely the best time to put this clay mask to test. The mask has an herbal scent almost similar to oriental medicines (so those who are sensitive to smell would probably not enjoy it, but hey, I grew up in a household where my parents would use oriental medicine for common cold and flu so this deter me at all.) The mask came with a small spoon. (hygienic and prevents contamination!) Leave to dry for 10-15 minutes, rinse and voila! visibly smaller pores and radiant skin awaits! Besides from noticeable smaller pores, my skin feels clean but not dry (that most clay mask has after use) and tight. It does have a stinging effect for a few seconds but nothing you can’t handle and the effect this clay have is worth a little pain. Retails for $17 for 100g. Use once or twice a week. This will definitely last you a few months. Can also be used as a spot treatment for problematic areas with excessive sebum secretion. I received Dr. Pore Tightening Glacial Clay Facial Mask from 0.8L for testing purposes but the opinions I’m sharing are 100% mine. I had some mixed feelings about this one. The scent is very herbal - which I love! And the texture of this mask is a very thick paste which I find very satisfying in masks (the thicker the mask, the better usually). So first impressions were excellent. Because of the texture, this was super easy to apply quickly and evenly. The cooling sensation started off nice, but as the mask settled, the cooling sensation became uncomfortable (almost burning). The packaging recommends 10-15 minutes, but during my first try I was concerned that with my sensitive skin I was possibly having an adverse reaction so I removed it after 5 minutes. As I was wiping the mask off, my skin seemed super red. BUT within seconds of removal, my skin-tone evened out right in front of my eyes. Then I could feel a huge improvement in my skin! NIGHT 2: I decided to give this another try after seeing such excellent results. Determined to give it the full 10-15 minutes, I powered thru the uncomfortable part and made it all the way to 15 minutes. The cooling sensation subsided at about the 6-minute mark so I was just short of that my first try. Once that sensation subsided, the mask was quite nice. My 4-year-old begged to try “mommy’s face medicine” so I put a dab on the end of her nose and expected complaints about the cooling sensation but she was just pumped to be like Mom! After my second wear, the results were even better and my face wasn’t red during removal at all. I should have let it neutralize that first time. All said and done, the mask works and has some really nice things going for it, but that cooling sensation is just not for me.

I'm a huge fan of clay masks as I have very oily skin. Sometimes my pores look like craters on the Moon. On such days pore’s tightening mask is my best friend. Dr. Pore Tightening Clacial Clay Facial Mask Has not only Canadian Clay in ingredients, but and also tea tree leaf oil - really good ingredients for oily skin. The mask comes in a plastic jar with a tiny spoon to make an application hygienic. The mask has a slight tee tree smell, but I like it, the smell doesn't bother me. I use rgua mask twice in a week, apply it for about 15-20 minutes and rinse off with a lukewarm water. As this is the clay mask, it's not easy to wash it off with just yiyr palms, that's why I usually use a special cellulose sponge. Everytime I look at myself in the mirror and I feel there is happening some kind of magic - my big pores are really get smaller, some even disappear. My skin is clean, refreshed and doesn't needs face cream. Pores become a lot smaller. I'm in love with the product. Happy that I had a chance to try this mask in exchange for my honest review.

This mask really blew me away! I usually find with mud or clay masks that they can get really tight on your face. I was pleasantly surprised to find that this one was rather comfortable. I also liked how nicely it applied to the face and dried down. It has Tea tree oil in it, which you can smell and feel. It was actually a refreshing feeling with a slight tingle. The mask also contains various clays, including a glacial one from Canada. The mask was very easy to remove once it dried down. Afterwards my skin looked and felt super smooth. Overall, I was really impressed with this mask. I can’t wait to see how it does when my skin is having a crappy day. Thank you to 0.8L for sending this in exchange for my honest opinion.

I have a love/hate relationship with clay masks.  I love that they suck gunk out of my pores, are fun to use and make me feel extra clean.  I hate how drying they can be for my delicate skin. I was immediately drawn to the ingredients in the Skin&Lab Dr. Pore Tightening Glacial Clay Facial Mask.   ❄ It contains all the good sebum sucking,  pore clearing clays (kaolin, betonite) including fancy Canadian glacial clay , which, per my very minimal research, is loaded with phytoplankton (?) and marine minerals. It's particles are supposedly super micro fine and thus penetrate the skin more efficiently.   ❄ Oatmeal is another rock star in this mask,  and was particularly sexy to me because my skin loves it.  Soothing, but also helps refine the skin and cleanse it, I'll get excited over that!   ❄ This mask has tea tree as well,  which is a well known calming ingredient. My skin won its battle with rosacea thanks to this simple saviour. ❄ Skin&Lab claims this mask will help calm and soothe acne,  redness and heat while clearing out and tightening up pores.  All without drawing away your moisture. It claims to even moisturize a little and help remove dead skin cells.   ❄ It's a thick clay and has an expected clay and tea tree scent that is light and natural.  It goes on really well, it's a tiny bit chunky compared to my eggplant clay mask, but that's OK.  It is very cooling to the skin right away, and some could find this to be unpleasant. I enjoy it. You can feel it slightly tighten as it dries,  but it was not uncomfortable at all for me. ❄ After 15 minutes,  it rinses clean with a little effort.  It does a fabulous job at clearing my pores out.  My skin is left super fresh and calm and the best part… .not overly dry! I still consider this a stronger mask,  so I can't use it more than once a week unless I only use on my t zone.
