Sadly this was another failed korean sunscreen for me, even though I am a big @Benton fan. The way I judge a sunscreen is if it makes me not want to claw off my face throughout the day, and this one unfortunately had that effect. I hate hate a sunscreen that is greasy, if my hair sticks to it, or if it doesn't play well under makeup, and this one was three strikes out. Both times I wore it, I had the worst skin day. I had to keep checking my face because little pieces of dust would get stuck to my face and I had to put my hair up cause I couldn't handle my hair sticking to it, and my concealer look horrid on top of this. it's a 1 star for me, but I will do what I always do with fails and use it on my body. I have a higher tolerance on my body.

Benton Papaya - D Sun Cream SPF 38 PA+++ is a physical & chemical sunscreen for effective sun protection. It promises minimal white cast. I received this at a reduced price in exchange for this review. It has a nice light citrus scent. It is a light lotion that absorbed after a good amount of rubbing. It felt heavy on my face when first applied. It had an obvious white cast on my light skin. It did not look greasy or shiny. Once I applied my foundation you could not see the white cast. It worked really well with both my skincare and makeup. After having some trouble getting it to absorb and noting the white cast I was not expecting to like it. But I did. It looked good under makeup and never looked greasy. I will save this for winter because I use a minimum of SPF 50 in the summer. You can purchase a 50 ml tube online for around $15. You know how I love packaging and this one was very simply but ooooh just nice, the silver cap brings the bottle together.. This Sun Cream is made of Papaya which is beyond amazing for your skin, Papaya is also a rich source of vitamin C, vitamin A, vitamin E, pantothenic acid, folate, magnesium and potassium. So excited was not the word for how I felt about using this... It really is a consistency of a cream so it goes on so nice, the feeling is rich and moisturizing remember a little goes a long way!! I used this before going to the beach and it stayed on the whole time in and out the water.. I'll be keeping it in my car so I can use it on my arms and hands when I have to drive since it's important to use Sunscreen everytime you can and guess what?! This is for daily use!! Such a plus!!!! 🤗🤗

Papaya-D Sun Cream SPF38 PA+++ 50g contains 55% of papaya water which is rich in vitamins a, c and e which protects skin through all the seasons. It blends in completely with very little white cast and smells unique compared to regular sunscreens. I am thrilled I got a full sized for a small trial fee through 08L that is much less what you can even spend on a generic facial sunscreen, much less a great Korean beauty brand like Benton. I had to rush to review it because once products you get to try through 08L ship, a countdown starts on how long you have to review it. It takes at least 2 weeks to ship from Korea but I usually have more time to get an opinion on a product. Unfortunately this just came in yesterday and my countdown is down to 40 hours so I wanted to go ahead and take my pictures and post my first impressions. I like it, it is functional and unique from your typical sunscreen. Aldo, it is lightweight! I will definitely be rotating this with my simply sunscreen I reviewed last week. This is my honest review of Papaya-D Sun Cream by Benton as a trial from 0.8L_USA. It has a very nice creamy texture and makes my skin feel nice and hydrated & I enjoy this product very much. It has a nice scent & product is SPF 38 and is a great addition to my morning routine!

But when I try to perform some outdoor activities like fast walking or jogging, it behave in really inappropriate way and starts to melt all over on my face 20 minutes after application. It looks like I'm all sweating. My face, neck, hands - all get pretty wet. Of course I'm sweating as any other humans, but here was something abnormal. I suspect their patented Aquaxyl compound which is actually good thing but probably during walks, jogging or other physical activities converts to "leaking faucet". . ☀️Comments: I got used to well working Benton formulas, however this one wasn't so perfect. It works nice for short walks, it may be good for urban lifestyle, but it absolutely unsuitable for any outdoors activities. I like this sunscreen but if you are an oily texture, I’d probably pass on this. It’s a physical and chemical sunscreen of spf 38/pa+++. I’ve had no irritation as on par with most Korean sunscreens. It contains papaya extracts to vitalize the skin and aquaxil to maintain moisture levels.

When applied, I noticed no white cast and it dried down quickly with a matte finish. The only thing that I really don’t like is that it’s spf 38! I buy this for a heavy discount at @0.8l_usa because I love to try new sunscreens, especially Asian ones because they have better filters than American ones (usually better texture too). It goes on white but that dissipates quickly. It’s not heavy feeling to someone who’s used to wearing sunscreen everyday, but it definitely leaves a dewy finish. That’s not great for my normal skin in SoCal’s summer, I just straight up look shiny. This can be toned down with powder though, so for me nbd. Also, unless sunscreen is watery and has heavy alcohol content, that’s true for all sunscreens on me. The texture is about a medium, not as light as the aforementioned watery ones, but not as thick as American ones or this Avene Sunsimed one I just picked up in Paris a few weeks ago. I was not a fan of the smell or texture of this on my skin. Did not smell like a papaya. Artificial smell with a hint of citrus. Light to medium texture. White cream, a little sticky on my face. Im not going to use this on my face going forward, but I continue to use it on my arms and shoulders for emergency sun block. I do like the design and sleek packaging.

I got this really cool Papaya sunscreen moisturizer to try from Benton and I like it! Benton always has amazing products so I was excited to try this one! I love papaya as an ingredient in skincare stuff, and this has lots of other cool ingredients like jojoba oil too! It's kind of a thick cream, but I like that a little bit goes a long way. Sunscreen is so important and I often forget to use it so it's nice to have a daily moisturizer that already has SPF in it. Overall, I really like this!

🥥🍍🍊 The papaya-D suncream SPF 38 PA+++ from @bentoncosmetic is a daily use chemical and physical sunscreen. It’s full of great ingredients such as papaya enzymes, niacinamide, jojoba and sunflower oils. It’s on the thicker side and has a bit of the typical grit from physical sunscreens. It has a very light, unobtrusive scent. It is a wee bit hard to completely work into the skin but once rubbed in there is no white cast. You just have to be careful to get it all into the skin or it can look a bit streaky and white ish. It’s not a great grab and go option because it takes some finesse to use. It’s a great option as a first base layer in the morning however. So, so far I wouldn’t say this is my favorite but I do like it just fine and will continue to use it. I am definitely interested in trying other products from Benton, I’ve heard great things.

Most sunscreens I have tried gets sticky and I don't liek that at all.This sunscreen went on like a regular lotion. It as a bit tacky at first but after just a couple of minutes it dried into my skin and wasn't sticky at all. I love the papaya scent to this sunscreen also. I am not a fan of coconut and lot of sunscreens I have tried always either smell chemically or like coconut. Not this stuff. It smells amazing. The scent does fade after a while. This would be ok to wear to wear under makeup but you would want to wait 5 or 20 minutes until it soaked into you skin before putting on make up. I live in Florida and sunscreen is a must. This is a SPF 38. The packaging does not say how long this will stay on your skin of if it is waterproof. The directions simply say to reapply as needed. It does however say it is made for daily use. It did leave my skin feeling soft and not greasy at all. My package also came with samples of Benton Fermentation Eye Cream, Aloe BHA Skin Toner, Aloe Propolis Soothing Gel, and Tea Tree Cleansing Water.
