I was really looking forward to trying this product. THE one thing I can say is that I actually tried to get this brush quite a few times even setting my alarm on my phone to be ready because when I received it it was even more beautiful & unique in person. My sincerest apologies to the Brand and makers of the beautiful item for not being able to fulfill my promise. Not impressed with this @antiquealive hair brush. It's beautiful for a vanity piece but just not practical. It feels cheap and tacky and doesn't work well with my long thick hair. In exchange for my honest review and posting on social media, I received this beautiful hairbrush to try out. Exquisite Brilliance that Lasts Millennia Korean lacquer ware inlaid with mother of pearl is renowned world over with its ingenuity to retrieve the iridescent color from the abalone shell and its unique inlaying techniques to create such extraordinarily splendid and exquisite mother of pearl motifs into the surface of hard wood. The hairbrush I received was a wooden red oval with an Arabesque design(an intertwined flowing lines pattern). As for the function of the hairbrush... It only work on dry hair and due to the bristle being short and thick, it doesn't really brush all the way to the scalp. I don't have very long hair, but I think the hairbrush would be better for long hair or even short hairstyles. Overall, I really love the design of the hairbrush and can see this as a nice gift for my Korean family members🇰🇷 (we have a few pieces of mother of pearl lacquered trinkets). But for the function of being a hairbrush, I am disappointed in that I will not be using it much☹️

hrnng mother of pearl inlay on black laquer is my weakness Probably because growing up a lot of our furniture was Korean black laquer with the mother of pearl art all over the place. It's probably what helped me become a biologist since her pieces had a lot of different animals represented and hidden around among the scrollwork. Seeing this hairbrush pop upon@0.81_usa for 3.99 is a literal steal as Korean laquerwork is expensive and harder to come by. The brush is normally around 50usd on Amazon, which for me isn't unheard of in the inlaid laquer realm, but if you're just wanting a pretty hairbrush you might get shocked by the stickerprice. I feel like this is more of a gift or vanity piece anyway since as a brush its just ok, I love that the bristles are wooden, but the rubber they're set in is a bit too pliable and for a good scalp massage I need the bristles to be less wiggly wobbly. I am loving just looking at this brush and feeling like kween gently detangling my hair. . If you like Korean mother of pearl art do you have a place you like to find it? ).) Beautiful handmade hair brush 💇. price: $50 People long time ago used to decorate their products by hand. they were hard workers and decorated everything. their walls, dishes, doors mirrors etc by hand. I admire handmade things I'm lucky to own this handmade hair brush. I have dry curly and frizzy hair and I'm always afraid to detangle my hair with brush. I normally use wide teeth comb. tgis is my first hair brush. I bought it because of its beautiful but it is my favorite now. it is lightweight pastic brush and the work on this is beautiful. it doesnt break my hair and detangle easily. there is only one issue with is, on ine spot the work isn't smooth and can hurt my palm I widh us was smooth and wasn't bumpy. besides that I appreciate the hard work. and it is a great gift. This design is symbolism for marriage and love! 💜 It's designed with wooden lacquerware and unique natural mother of pearl. It would be great as a gift! The bristles are wooden and the pins are rounded, which results a relaxing scalp massage effect. The packaging was nice. A sturdy box with the brush enclosed in pretty, white silk/satin type bag with a ribbon drawstring. 💜 This brush would be best as a gift, or for it's beautiful design. It’s beautiful colorful display makes it so that you would want to keep this on your vanity just to show it off! Antique Alive is the worlds largest provider of mother of pearl arts and crafts. The box it comes in is very nice and sturdy and also comes in a dust bag. Although I was hoping and expecting the brush to be a bit heavier and also I thought it was going to be wooden. It feels very light and plastic like, almost cheap feeling, I was kind of disappointed. The bristles are wood and it is a very nice brush and would be a great gift idea if it wasn’t so expensive. I understand the price come from the craftsmanship. I also have lots of long hair and it wasn’t the best at combing through it for me. Maybe the shape was the problem. Nonetheless it’s a beautiful brush and it looks very nice in my bathroom !!!!

My go-to hair brush has been falling apart for years. Like, seriously, I’m proooooobably missing half the bristles. So when I saw the Antique Alive Natural Hair Brush on @08liter, I figured this was my chance to prepare myself to let my ol’ trusty brush go. This new brush is gorgeous and came beautifully packaged. It brushes well. However, I have very fine hair, but a LOT of it. It’s such a pain. So when I tried to use this brush to put my hair up in a pony tail, it was not able to brush my hair smoothly. I had to grab for my other hair brush to finish the job. This is the @Antique_Alive Lacquer Hair Brush from @0.8l_usa getting a mini review! ~ MINI REVIEW This hairbrush claims to massage your scalp while gently removing tangles. It is handcrafted out of  wooden lacquerware with an inlaid mother of pearl design and the air cushion pad has rounded wooden bristles. They have a lot of very pretty designs, so it was hard to choose. I ended up choosing the Dangcho (Arabesque) Flower with the lighter wood. The brush arrived in a faux silk looking bag that was enclosed in a nice gift box. It really is very pretty with the iridescent mother of pearl and I’m happy with my design choice. I have used the brush over the past few weeks and the first thing I realized was to not use it on wet hair. I don’t usually brush my hair a lot when wet, but you really don’t want to use this brush for that. This works best on dry hair, brushing the ends first to get knots out. After you get any knots out, the bristles do feel nice on the scalp. This brush retails for approx $60 and can be found on Amazon. ~ This was sent to me in exchange for my honest review.
