Long time, no update. However, now that I’ve slipped into the regular routine with my new role at work & finally seeing the light at the end of the breakup tunnel (🙃), I’m looking to get back into reviewing and checking out new makeup/skincare products. Now that I’ve recently tuned 30 I’ve found more motivation than ever to get my shit together & *actually* make+stick to a routine—(any/all advice on that end is very much welcome 🙏). That being said, I thought what better way to get the ball rolling on me being more active than revisit the initial thoughts I had about a product I tried out awhile ago... ╭┈─────────── ╰┈➤ So, the lovely teams at @0.8l_USA & @eui.lab sent this courtesy Ultimate Whitening Cream my way to check out and share my feedback on. Before hopping into my hot take, I should cover what claims were made so that it is easier for me to define my own experience. The cream is said to be “formulated with effective natural derivatives whitening & anti-aging agents such as Arbutin, Lactic Acid & Kojic Acid that are designed to improve evenness, radiance & elasticity of the skin”. I don’t know if it is just because I’m a newbie to the skincare game, but that was a loaded sentence. However, it definitely sounds like it’s something I’d love to have. Out of my own experience with the product, at day 10 I was still lacking any substantial/visibly significant results that would help mitigate for my own conscious any reason to fork over a little over $100 for 1.68 fl. oz. Call me cheap, call me impatient, but I’m just trying to keep it real. I will say that from a branding perspective the website/product packaging are divine. Both present a truly dreamy, highly feminine image. For the packaging, I always appreciate when a small applicator is included along with the product. I think this was perfect for helping to distribute the proper smaller amount of product necessary. Ultimately, I think that this product would likely be a win for anyone who is experiencing things like sun damage, hyperpigmentation, dark spots, or other skin color irregularities. For myself, I think that because my biggest source of concern was in dullness that I didn’t really have the maximum level of its impact. While it didn’t 100% work for me, I would say that it’s worth a shot for someone else.

I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review. I wanted to try this product to see if it would help lighten my sun damage and acne scars. I have been using it for about 10 days or so (morning and night) and so far I haven't noticed a significant difference. That being said, I feel like it needs a bit more time to really say for sure. So I will keep using it and update everyone if I see any real improvements. The only real con I see with this product is the scent. It is not horrible or very strong, but it also doesn't smell all that great. I would prefer it to have either no smell at all, or something more pleasant. My 2 favorite things about this product is how well it absorbs while not being sticky or greasy and then the packaging. It is GORGEOUS and so luxurious looking. It even comes with a little spatula/spoon applicator. Also, you do get a generous amount for the price. I have barely even made a dent in it. I believe you could get 45-60 days of conservative use. I will definitely keep trying it until it is gone and hopefully, after some more use I will see some more obvious results.

I’m really lovin’ this Ultimate Whitening Cream. Have YOU tried it?! 😃 The texture is almost a cross between a lotion & a serum. It’s thick, but not heavy. A little goes a long way. 💦 This formula is very hydrating, but definitely tightens the skin. I honestly haven’t used it long enough yet to tell if it has any brightening affect on my skin...I’m already pretty pale. 👻 lol But it does claim to be “formulated with effective natural derivatives whitening & anti-aging agents such as Arbutin, Lactic Acid & Kojic Acid that are designed to improve evenness, radiance & elasticity of the skin”. Their website (euilab.com) has more info on these ingredients. Pictured is the full size (1.68 fl. oz.). However, this retails for $106!! 😱😵 So it’s definitely a luxury skincare product. Some of y’all are gonna say “HELL NAW!”. 🙅‍♀️ lol But tbh, I’ve spent more than that on 1 skincare item. 🤑🤷‍♀️ I’m looking forward to puttin’ alllll this expensive skin care on this ‘ole face. 😂 What’s your go to luxury product?? 💎

Review: @euilaboratoire Ultimate Whitening Cream • • 🌺 Packaging: the frosted glass jar with mirror-surface cap feels very sturdy and substantial. I especially appreciate the engrave flower on the cap. It’s very pretty and classy. There is a small plastic spatula included. I kind of wish it’s not in the jar form though, for sanitary and freshness purpose. • 🌺 Scent/Texture: I did not detect a fragrance. The cream has thick, fluffy, and creamy texture. • 🌺Claims: - brightens dark spots - corrects hyperpigmentation - brightens complexion and small superficial discoloration • 🌺Performance: because of the claims, I only apply this cream exclusively to my lower jaw areas. This is where most of my post inflammatory pigmentation (PIH) spots are concentrated. I used this as the last step in my routine. The cream didn’t really absorb and it felt very sticky/tacky. During trial period, I didn’t have any additional breakouts. It’s been a couple of weeks. The spots are definitely lighter in color. However, I can’t conclusively determined that it was because of the cream or perhaps the result from other essences/serums. Currently I am trying out Eui laboratories ultimate whitening cream. It claims to even out dull skin and reduce dark spots or any discoloration. I used it day and night for about 1 week. 🤗 Here are my initial thoughts 💭 .. 🌸 Tub packaging 🌸 Thick cream texture 🌸 No strong scent 🌸 Slightly tacky feeling upon application 🌸 Matte finish 🌸 Contains Arbutin, Lactic acid , Vit E, Glycerin The packaging looks very elegant and it comes with a spatula. Upon applying it, it gives an instant tone up effect because of the presence of zinc oxide. It takes a long time to rub and absorb. On rubbing it started pilling on my hand as you can see from the photo. It needs a moisturized skin to rub ..ohh and thats weird as moisturizers are meant to provide the moisture and not need it as a pre existing base. Its a bummer.

I really like this product. I love the packaging. I love that it comes with a spatula. It is very moisturizing and brightening. It sits well under my makeup. The only problem I have had is that when I use it as a night cream by the next morning it pills off my skin in what looks like dry patches but is really the moisturizer.

Fact: I have #sensitive acne-prone #combination skin (dry patchy areas on my cheeks/ mandible and oily T-zone). When i say #dry, i mean super DRY! My skin has just been so bleh lately because of the heat🔥 the sun ☀️and stress 😬so I was super excited to try out the Ultimate Whitening Cream from @eui.lab!! The packaging is really nice and heavy and it also comes with a scooper 👍🏼The cream is super thick and rich. It leaves a little bit of stickiness after you applied but will dry down very matte. Health hydrates my skin and makes it look plumper. I have not been using it long enough to know if it actually whiten dark spots but still have high hopes for it 😍 @0.8l_usa . . . .

EUI Laboratoire Ultimate Whitening Cream This whitening cream is formulated with Arbutin which comes from bearberry, cranberry and blueberry leaves. It is a very effective (and safe) skin whitening agent and workd by inhibiting the formation of melanin. It also prevents premature aging. Aside from this, it also contains Lacic Acid and Kojic Acid. The cream is thick yet very lightweight when applied onto the skin. It is easily absorbed and it doesn’t leave any greasy film on top of the skin. I used this cream for a full week and noticed that my skin looks slightly brighter. It also made the texture of my skin a bit better – more plump, firm and smooth. This Ultimate Whitening Cream did hydrate my skin but did not absorb at all (causing a few breakouts) and left my skin looking and feeling very oily and the only lightening that I saw for some reason was on my forehead in one localized spot that made me want to stop using this cream because I do not want to walk around with a spotty complexion. Overall I was not impressed at all with this Ultimate Whitening Cream, and that's why I'm giving it ⭐⭐⭐ based on 0.8L criteria for Functionality, Moisturization & Absorbability. EUI LABORATORIES, Ultimate Whitening Cream is great for facial whitening and hiding those facial dark spots. Safe for hypersensitive skin this concoction is awesome for my fair complexion. I use this cream regularly as a substitute whitening booster that leaves my face looking perfectly natural,minus the dark spots that come with age. I reccomend this for the women who appreciate quality skin care products

I was very excited to try this whitening cream, and I’m very glad that I did . This cream aims to help with uneven skin tone, dark spots, aging skin, discoloration, and dark spots. It has some pretty great ingredients such as Arbutin, which is derived from bearberry, mulberry, and blueberry which makes for a safe and natural de pigmentation and whitening agent. After just a few days , my skin feels tighter, brighter , and more hydrated . I also love the packaging that it comes in , it’s very pretty and looks great on my counter . I use this in the evening before bed along with my skin routine, and in the morning before applying makeup. You do need to wear SPF with this if you will be going out into the sun , as it can make your skin prone to sunburn. Overall, I’m very happy with this product.
