▫️CICAGO Cica SOS Dressing Mask▫️ . I have been experiencing terrible breakouts for the past few months. This made me freak out, so when it came to my skin care routine, I became on the look out for products that have soothing, calming and protective ingredients to it. . This sheet mask claims to calm and soothe redness and irritations. It also helps protect the skin’s moisture barrier while defending damage due to environmental causes. This contains Centella Asiatica, an ingredient that is becoming popular due to the benefits it gives the skin. . The sheet mask’s material is pure cotton gauze. It does look quite thick but unlike the other masks I have tried that has similar thickness, this felt softer and adhered to the skin very well. It fits slightly small on my face, however, I don’t really find that a problem. . The essence of the mask has a slight green tinge to it. It has a slight herbal scent, too, that almost goes away immediately upon putting on. It immediately gives you a cool sensation once the mask touches the skin, hence, the soothing effect. I had it on for 20 minutes and I noticed a slight brightening of the face upon removing. . The main reason why I decided to try this out was because of my breakouts but they have disappeared after sticking to a routine that was effective for me. However, I can say that this really does soothe the skin. Aside from using it on my face, I used the excess essence on areas where I got “burnt” from staying under the sun for too long (like my shoulders). It also soothed it out and calmed the redness. I still have a couple more masks of this kind which I will surely use! . @Cicago_official Cica SOS Dressing Mask are soaked in essence. As in be careful opening because as I opened the package essence splashed out. The mask dripped alot while trying to apply it so my neck and chest got a treat before my face. 🤣 Initially the mask sort of annoyed me because it moved as I tried to spread it out. I decided to hold it where it was already in place and that helped a lot. As the essense soaked in I could feel the mask getting tighter. This is the @Cicago_official Cica SOS Dressing Mask from @0.8l_usa getting a first impressions review! ~ FIRST IMPRESSIONS This sheetmask claims to hydrate and soothe sensitive / irritated skin leaving a healthy glow. It is a cotton gauze fabric soaked in a translucent pale green essence that has a light botanical scent. The smell is pleasant and fades after a few minutes. A few key ingredients are: Sericin, Mistletoe Extract, and Centella Asiatica. See below for the complete list of ingredients. I’ve only used one mask out of the five in the box, so far. The mask was super soaked and there was a lot of essence left in the pouch; so much that you could put a dry mask in it to soak it up. The fit was ok but all of the holes were a bit small and the piece under the nose was oddly huge. It adhered well and stayed put the entire time. I left the mask on until it started to dry out a bit, which was about 40 minutes. Note that it suggests leaving it on for 10-20 minutes. The essence absorbed in pretty quickly but I was left with a slight filmy feel after. The filmy feel went away after a few hours, so I was glad I used it at night. My skin felt hydrated and I had no redness after but I was a little shiny. Soothing,  calming masks have been my go-to all summer.  Especially after starting retinol. As a “rosacean”, I battle with redness, heat and irritation.  I also have large pores and in oily t -zone so these sounded perfect and I already enjoyed one cica•go product,  so why not? ________ These are all cotton gauze masks, soft and clingy with a generous amount of watery serum.  The overall fit is pretty good for my face, needing only slight adjusting around eyes. It lasts about 30 minutes before drying up. The serum is a light green color, clear and has a natural, fresh almost herby smell.  Hardly noticeable. It absorbs well, plays well with other products and it leaves just the slightest silky layer on my skin. It contains fairly simple ingredients, most interesting to me is sericin. ________ Sericin is a glycoprotein found in silkworm silk.  It's a by product of the silk industry, typically discarded but has been found to be useful in the biomedical and cosmeceutical industries due to its hydrophobic amino acids, antibacterial, antioxidant and moisturizing properties.  It can increase hydration and elasticity, reduce irritation, aid in smoothing wrinkles and preventing water loss from the skin. _______ It also contains mistletoe,  a soothing antiseptic with anti inflammatory properties; chestnut shell extract,  an antioxidant; willow bark, allantoin, betaine panthenol and of course, centella asiatica.   ________ Results for me are immediate cooling, soothing and reduction in redness.  It makes my pores appear super small, and I'm definitely super hydrated. Cicago is a cult favorite on 0.8Liter. Their ingredients contain cica, which is a concentrated form of centella asiatica. It's a miracle ingredient for acneic skin. It soothes and repairs the skin so it will not only kill a breakout but also prevent the next one. You'll notice I use a lot of products with this ingredient because my skin breaks out easily. It sucks to be 30 and have worse skin than I did at 15 so the idea of a cica mask is appealing. That's why I jumped at the chance to try the Cicago #CicaSOSDressingMask. The sheet mask is made from 100% pure cotton gauze that adheres perfectly to your skin without absorbing too much product. The serum melts into your skin. If your skin is freaking out this will instantly calm and soothe the irritation and redness. They come 5 to a box and retail for $6 on GreenAlley. However, I'm not certain if that's the price of the box or an individual mask. I liked these masks and would repurchase them but I'm very disappointed in the poor fit. FINAL SCORE: 11.5/15

You should know by now, I love centella asiatica. Centella asiatica (aka cica, pennywort, gotu kola), has many great benefits but I mainly love it for its wound healing properties and helping with acne inflammation. I legit tried to juice it/ include in my meal planning but it was too much prep LOL 😆 Anyways, it's no surprise I jumped at the opportunity to try out a sheet mask with all it's yummy goodness. . The Cica Go SOS Dressing Mask* has a ton of essence in the package, so I was able to soak cotton pads to apply to my neck! I left it on longer than instructed and it didn't dry out 💦 The scent is surprisingly citrus/lemon, when I initially thought it would be earthy/grass! The actual mask shape seems a bit off but I will have to re-try since I did cut it to prevent my eyebrows from getting wet. The material is similar to gauze and is rough in comparison to other sheet masks. I also had to keep re-adjusting it to stick/stay on (SWIPE for texture/selfie). I can't wait to use this mask with a ice roller becuase I know it will be refreshing on a hot day! . Overall, I am pleased with the mask but prefer a softer material and better fit. Mask is a bit small as it didn’t cover the sides and it barley overlap my chin. Adherence was okay. A few wrinkles here and there. Mask contains centella asiatica, a great ingredient to soothe skin. It is free of paraben, alcohol, PEGs, EDTA, Silicones, Mineral oils, Petroleum, Sulfate, Synthetic colors, and Chemical preservatives that can irritate sensitive skin. I llove sheet masks, so, I had a feeling I would be happy with these. I was right. This mask leaves my face feeling very fresh and they don't make my skin break out. My skin is so soft and hydrated after these masks. Not tight or tingly--just refreshed and smooth looking. The serum was absorbed by my skin quickly after removing the mask. Centella Asiatica (Tiger Grass) is the main ingredient of these mask. Centella is also rich in vitamin C, vitamin A, vitamin B1 and B2, niacin and carotene to keep the skin looking bright and youthful. This highly concentrated essence is full of essential anti-aging and hydrating ingredients like centella extract, oak tree sap and hyaluronic acid. Once a week I use a deep cleansing mask to get all the dirt and gunk out. To make sure I am not stripping my skin I follow up with a hydrating mask / sheet mask. Today's picks: .. 🍃I have been using this powdered clay mask for over 10 years. My mum buys it from an Ayurvedic store. It contains Fullers earth, Sandalwood powder, Almond powder and Turmeric. I mixed this with @thebodyshop Amazonian Acai. The radiance boosting Acai mask contains antioxidant rich acai berry, Guarana berries and moisturizing Babbasu oil. This smells wonderful, has exfoliating particles that do not feel abrasive. I am not a big fan of the açaí mask but this combination seems to work better. The clay mask does not feel as drying when mixed with this. I had the mask on for 15-20 minutes and on rinsing off skin looked rejuvenated but a little dry .. 🍃I immediately followed up with the CICA GO SOS Dressing mask. I received a pack of 5 sheet masks from #08l. I wanted to try this because these are made of pure cotton gauze material (reminded me of the @bywishtrend gauze sheet mask that I had really liked) and like the name suggests all the products made by this company contain Cica (Centella Asiatica). The mask comes drenched in watery essence, the fit and adherence was good. The essence had a faint citrusy scent. I had this mask on for 35 minutes and this left my skin soothed and hydrated with a tacky finish. My skin appeared greasy. This can be used as a PM mask. The Cica SOS Dressing Mask is designed to melt into the skin and soothe redness and irritation. It protects the skin’s moisture barrier and defends skin from the elements. This mask contains 25 ml (0.84 oz) and has a basic skincare scent, nothing overwhelming. The sheet mask itself has a green tinge to it, but it’s easier to see the green in the essence left over. The sheet mask is made from a hypoallergenic gauze material and the green color is from the ingredients and not an artificial color. Recommended use is to apply the mask after cleansing and applying toner. Leave the mask on for about 10-20 minutes and then remove the mask and massage the remaining serum into the face. After using, this mask is quite unique as I’ve never used a gauze mask before, I found the nose and mouth holes to fit comfortably, but the eye holes were quite small and difficult to widen. The essence is plentiful and it feels very soothing. I found it took about an hour to dry out and even though the material was a little stiff it was pretty comfortable. After removing it, it did tone down my redness and my skin just felt very hydrated and plump, it also soothed some hives that I had and helped with the itch factor. I’d recommend this to people with sensitive skin or really any skin type. What I like: I really like the ingredients and the lack of artificial colors. There’s not a strong scent and I think the gauze is really fascinating. It soothed redness and any irritation I had on my skin and the essence is really hydrating and soothing. I like how this mask really targets sensitive skin and redness. What I don’t like: this mask is kind of stiff and the eye holes are small and it’s not easy to widen them. Apart from that, there’s nothing I can say bad about this mask. Rating: 9.5/10

This box of five masks has been put to great use once I received it! The Cica SOS dressing mask has been really nice to use when I want to just sit back and relax and allow my skin to get hydrated and feel refreshed afterwards. The mask itself is really nice quality, it is a little difficult peeling it apart from itself but I have not encountered any tears or rips from doing so which is great. There is also a ton of essence on the mask which is lovely on the skin but can be a little much once taking the mask off because not all of the essence soaks in. Therefore I usually like to do this mask at night or not apply any other product to my face afterwards. Regardless, it’s been nice to my sensitive acne-prone skin and has not given me any adverse reactions. I always notice my skin is completely glowing after using this and is extra hydrated. There is even extra essence in the pouch that I can use on my neck or anywhere I feel like applying it! I really enjoyed using this and I would recommend others to give it a chance as well!

✨Cica•Go Cica SOS Dressing Mask✨ ✨ Fit & Adhesion - The fit of this mask was actually pretty good! It extended all the way out to the sides of my face and it covered my entire forehead along with wrapping only a little underneath my chin. The only qualm I really had with the fit was the thickness of the section underneath your nose and above your top lip. It was weirdly wide, and covered part of my lip, so it was a little awkward. The mask had great adhesion and I had absolutely no sliding! ✨ Scent - A lovely, light centella scent ✨ Essence - The essence was nice and thin, with a fairly watery texture! As a fun little added bonus, the essence was a light green color. ✨ Pros - • Lovely natural scent • Essence dries down quickly • Cooling sensation • Very soothing • Nicely hydrating ✨ Cons - • Left a slightly sticky feeling on the face ✨ Overall impressions - You guys!!!! It is not often that I feel myself reaching repeatedly for the same face mask, but this one has done it to me! I was completely finished with my box of 5 within a week of receiving them! I have never used a gauze style sheet mask before, but I thought it was wonderful! It had great adhesion and I felt like it really forced the essence into my skin. As you might know, my skin tends to run on the more sensitive side, so this mask was right up my alley! It is supposed to soothe and heal sensitive skin, and while I can’t say that it healed my skin, it did soothe it! My skin was noticeably less red and felt so cool to the touch. The mask came with about a palmful of leftover essence, so once the mask started to dry a little bit, I would splash the leftover essence on and sit with it on for another 10 or so minutes. I would say that this was a holy grail mask for me, but the only place I’ve found it for sale so far is Amazon for like $27! So, that’s not happening! But, if you have sensitive skin and get the chance to try these, I say GO FOR IT! I received this product for a fee from 0.8L for my honest review.
