I received a 6.76 oz bottle of Real Barrier Aqua Soothing Toner from 0.8liter for free; in exchange for my review of it. 💦💧💦 CLAIMS: To prime, refresh, calm, and cool the skin. Has a low Ph that will gently improve & promote a long-term hydration. Includes 5 different Hyaluronic Acids- ( Sodium Hyaluronate, Sodium Hyalronate Cross polymer, Hydrolyzed Glucosaminoglycans, Hydrolyzed Hyaluronic Acid, & Hyaluronic Acid) each has its own function in varying amounts to promote the moisture to the skin. It's. Also infused with Central Asiatica to help soothe and calm any skin irritations caused by environmental stressors. Panthenol is used to calm, Madecassoside to moisturize and Allantoin for soothing. This toner has proven safe for daily use! 💦💧💦 DIRECTIONS: It's recommended to use the Real Barrier foam cleanser before applying this toner; just as most all skincare would advise you to cleanse with the same brand. Then rinse and Pat dry. Using the toner to wet a cotton pad and wipe over your face in an up and outward motion. After the face has dried, it recommends applying Aqua Soothing Gel Cream as directed. By do this step it indicates it'll give you a total cooling sensation. (indicates to refrigerate gel cream before use) 💦💧💦 MY EXPERIENCE : First of I'll say that I was surprised when I received this because it also had a lil' something extra with it. It was a sample size(1time use) packet of the Aqua Soothing Gel Cream. I've using this Real Barrier Aqua Soothing Toner for about two wks now and I do like the way it makes my skin feel. I can tell it's helped with my complextion some, hopefully with continuous use it will help more.. Along with products maybe that I have for toning because I need it desperately! I love the way it feels when it's immediately going into my skin; really soothing. I want to keep applying it.lol. As for moisturizing, I feel as if I still need something extra even though it's claim is helps with moisture. I have dry to combo skin at times but more dry than anything and this just wasn't it for me in that dept. ✳️Real Barrier Aqua Soothing Toner✳️ I'm going to start off by saying that I love this toner. It's a godsend for my current trouble skin. Compare to the toner I was using before this is the elixir o beautiful skin. I would wholeheartedly recommend everyone to pick this toner up. Follow the brand and set your alerts because this will do your skin good. I have been using this toner for a week now and I'm starting to see smaller blemishes. It's nice and watery without being too thick or too thin. It's great for layering and I love using it for my big Sunday night layer fest. All in all a great toner that I can't stop singing the praises for.

After cleansing & toning with AHA/BHA; I then love on my skin by applying extra hydration with Aqua Soothing Toner. I pour it into my hands and massage into my skin. This Toner is like water down Aloe Vera consistency. With a nice light leafy floral scent. I’m able to put into a spray bottle and spritz my face through out the day, for added moisture. I used the toner for a week, my skin appears more radiance and smooth. It does leave a cool feeling after applying it with a cotton ball. The scent reminds me of mineral water from a spa. It's basically derived from the plant centella asiatica but it's apparently better?! _______ | My Thoughts | This toner has a nice simple packaging, not too extravagant! I like it that way I have oily skin and this provides enough hydration to my face and didn't leave me oily the next day. I could discern a faint smell (probably the bergamot oil) it's light and not too overpowering to my nose. I like that the smell dissipates quickly when applied directly on the face. This gave me a dewy and fresh finish that I adore on my face and it greatly soothed out my irritated skin! I would repurchase this toner once I run out. This toner by felt so good on my skin. I use this product after washing my face, before any moisturizers, oils, or serums. I wish it was not quite as liquidy, because I feel like it takes a little more to get me cotton moist. However I do appreciate the bottle top so the amount coming out can be controlled, and that there is almost no smell to the toner itself. The dewy effect my skin has after using this is definitely a plus for my dry patches. This comes close to being my favorite (currently loving Ovallier) but could soon take the lead. I really like this toner. Since I've started using it my skin feels soft and supple and less oily, which is a problem I usually have during summer. It's easy to apply and absorbs quickly. There is a slight minty smell to it but once you put it on you can't smell anything. There is a slight tacky residue after application though. Overall I'm happy with it and will continue to use it.

The product is supposed to help moisturize and is recommended for dry or combination skin. My thoughts: first of all, I love the packaging and scent of this product. It smells so nice! Not too overpowering but a nice clean scent. It had a thin texture and absorbs quickly into the skin when you apply it. I’ve added the product into my morning routine as a toner after washing my face and I really like it. It’s gentle and doesn’t leave my skin feeling dry but on the contrary seems to help my skin absorb my moisturizers and serum. I can imagine this product would work for a variety of skin types and is actually really versatile! I would definitely recommend this product and hope to try it some other Real Barrier products soon!

This toner can be used for daily and doesn't cause me to break out and seems to help inflamed skin that has redness. I like that this helped my skin to calm down and look smooth. Ive been using this nightly, after a Micellar water cleanse. I follow it with Manyo Factory Galactomyces Niacin, Mizon Snail Repair Gel, and Lancome Hydra Zen Moisturizer. Twice a week I end with a sheet mask. My day routine has been primarily micellar water cleanse & estee lauder moisturizing sunscreen (sometimes followed by makeup, sometimes not). This has been a comfortable, soothing toner, no matter how much sun I had gotten at work or in the garden. Balanced my skin without tightness or discomfort. No overly stripped feeling. Recently did a chemical peel (30% glycolic, 11 minutes) and have used this 3 times since (morning & night) and it has remained a comfortable and moisturizing toner to use, even after a fresh peel.
