The box that houses the treatment is pretty, but it is a little awkward & difficult to get in to. Upon opening the box, aside from being impressed at the cool packaging, my first thought was, "Wow! What a huge amount of product.” Now that I've used the calming treatment, which is described as a toner essence, I'm ecstatic that the bottle is so large. The bottle houses 8.45 ounces of treatment! The treatment applies smoothly to skin & is absorbed almost immediately. This is a toner essence that was made for layering. I’ve done as many as three layers & they’ve all absorbed wonderfully. This runny, clear treatment has almost no fragrance. It makes my skin feel quite moisturized & look plump & dewy. Being that my skin is currently sensitized & irritated, I have found multiple layers of this treatment to be soothing. I notice that my skin is less flushed & red almost immediately after applying this treatment. It did not cause any stinging even though my skin is somewhat raw at the moment. I would also describe the current condition of my skin as dry, even parched due to Tretinoin & hydroquinone usage. I am experiencing dry patches & flaking. My skin is very tight & dry, untreated. This quickly adds moisture & helps diminish dry patches & flaking. It helps to make my skin feel significantly more comfortable, a feeling that lasts until the next step in my skincare routine. I love that there is absolutely no alcohol in this treatment. I do not want to put anything with drying alcohol on my skin, especially right now. I also like that this product has a skin brightening effect. Having dry, patchy skin tends to make it appear dull, so brightening is a benefit I look for. This calming treatment/toner is enriched with botanical, herbal, and floral complexes to deeply hydrate the skin and promote a healthy glow, which is all what we want right ?! It also claims to smoothe angry and irritated skin. Free from fragrances, alcohol, and any dyes. Directions – use after cleansing face book before any other treatments. MY Thoughts- this toner was very nice, it was a pleasant experience no real harsh smell, and seemed to do just what it said, which was calm the skin. After using this toner I did not feel dry. The packaging is beautiful. It is housed in a solid, heavy plastic container that looks as if it could be used in a science lab. It looks lux and I’m a sucker for good packaging - even better when products work and look good. That seems to be the theme for this and some other products. I like it, it’s cute. I wish the bottle was glass but I wish more products were coming in glass containers anyway. Other than that I have no complaints with this toner. If anybody has any questions specifically on this toner or the foaming face wash which is the next review to go up by the same company please reach out to me. They both can be purchased on Amazon and I think they are both lovely products. Once I was reassured that they were cruelty free and animal ingredient free, that’s when I jumped and purchased them. I was so happy to be able to try this at the reduced cost to reveiw. I was so intrigued by the packaging, but I've come to love the product just as much. This is best for acne prone skin and really soothes. Although it's is called a calming treatment, which it does help to calm inflamed or irritated skin, I find it to be so refreshing and invigorating to use. It has floral and herbal extracts in it, and I find they are really best to calm skin. This would be great for folks that are prone to rosacea or just have sensitive skin in general. I enjoy the light fresh scent to it too.

This is the second of the Dr. PARKCELL products that I tested. Dr. PARKCELL Calming Treatment is a botanical and herbal enriched, alcohol free calming treatment for temperamental skin. It's the first step in moisturizing toner before serum in this line after cleansing. This, too, goes great with the whipping foam for sensitive and dry, dull skin.

Then the Dr. Parkcell calming treatment which I love for the packaging 😂 I am not always great at using toner steps, but I’m trying to get better about it as my skin does usually appreciate it. I’m currently loving a mist that I’m focusing on, so I didn’t want to use this as much right now so I can try to see how it compares when used alone. The packaging does draw my attention so I’m hoping it will help me use it up when I’m ready to focus on it again. When I used it I found it to be inoffensive and a nice hydrating layer.
