CICA-GO CICA Spot Balm (courtesy of @0.8L_US) I wasn't a huge fan of the CICA-GO Ampoule as I found it to be dewy for my skin (it reminded me of LGH's Tea Tree 90 Essence in that regard), but I am a CICA fan, so I decided to try this brand again with their spot balm. CICA-GO is a South Korean dermo-cosmetic brand, that uses natural ingredients that have been dermatologist-tested and they are cruelty- free. The key ingredient is Centella Asiatica, a common herbal ingredient that is used medicinally to help speed up wound healing, such as blemishes and skin rashes. It also helps minimize the appearance of pores, and since it stimulates collagen production, it will make your skin more supple and firm. This balm will help bring instant soothing relief to your skin issues, such as rashes, blemishes and other problems and does not contain parabens, PEG's, EDTA, silicones, mineral oils, petroleum, sulfate, synthetic colors and chemical preservatives. This spot balm is quite moisturizing with oils such as macadamia nut and castor plus shea butter. IT also contains panthenol, allantoin, trehalose, and betaine, for soothing, hydrating and anti-aging care, plus willow bark for salicylic acid. . . This balm is thick ~ it comes out like Elmer's glue but thankfully doesn't smell like it! It has a very light citrus scent, due to the bergamot oils in here. It is quite thick and I don't need a lot ~ after all, this is supposed to be a spot cream, but if you have damaged your skin, you could use it on larger areas. My first reaction was how thick this felt on my skin and I could feel a "filmy" barrier. But within minutes, it absorbed into my skin, and my skin felt very soft, smooth and supple. It does provide moisture and balance to my skin ~ it increased the moisture levels by 56% and decreased my oil levels by 25%. Does it reduce redness or prevent/heal blemishes? Alas, for my skin testing purposes, my skin has been well behaved recently, so I cannot really say. I do know it doesn't break me out and it is a nice night time treatment as it does leave my skin feeling soft and smooth. Due to the texture, I would like this better in the colder months than the summer months. I have Been Using, CICA-GO Cica Spot Balm for almost 2 weeks now., Thanks to @.0.8L and @CICA-GO for sending it to me for a small trying fee in exchange for my Open and Honest Opinon. As I do not have Acne , or a cronic, or a daily skin problem, I cant post a before and after pic, that will Show my skins improvement. I do although have Lupus,that does in fact give me trouplesome skin problems, that can happen, from one day to the next..from redness, sores from the sun 🌞 and irritated dry patches on my face 😬neck and upper cheast. With this being said, I now can share my experience☺ My skin does not like the sun😢 If i go into sun for any peorid of time, even wearing sunscreen, my skin can become very red and irritated, with very dry patches.😈 When I recieved the ,CICA-GO Cica Spot Balm, it happend, I had a very dry patch of skin under my right eye about 2 inches wide and 1 inch from top to bottom. So I started using it that evening, after washing and using toner on my face( the consistancy of the Cica spot balm, to me, feels like tooth paste), I appilied it under my right eye on the irritated, very dry skin, and because it said it can act as a barrier against the elements, also I applied it to my cheek bone area, and accross the Bridge of my nose,👃 places on my face that needed the extra pertection from the heat and sun. I continued this every 🌅am, and pm🌃 after washing and toneing my face for 1&1/2 weeks. 📆 Very 😄Happily😄 I can report that the dry spot under my eye is as smooth as the rest of my face😇 . I am not used to have this type of severe skin problems. It started when I scratched my face. I thought using masks would help, but during that time I started breaking out in places. Cicago cica spot balm is a unique balm for blemish prone skin. Usually spot treatments are super drying and can even make skin peel, but this one feels more like a nourishing lotion/serum. I got to try it through 08L in exchange for honest feedback. It has a nice, light and fresh scent to it that is relaxing both to my senses and to my skin due to the hydrating ingredients. It feels as though it strengthens my skin barrier(which is a claim from the brand I can attest to) and has great ingredients that optimize the performance and maintenance of the skin. Of course it also treats problem areas which makes it a perfect product for my needs. I love how it calms, treats and soothes my rough patches with scarring or blemishes. It is perfect for sensitive skin. When you have sensitive skin you really can't handle the spot treatments with benzoyl peroxide and all that, so it is cool there is a spot treatment that also moisturizes and protects skin.
