Soooooo I had the pleasure of trying out this PHA WATER-TOX by @nakeupface...pretty awesome!!! Consistency is super thick and luxurious! Makes my face feel full and supple, I am going to enjoy using the rest of this product! I'd like to thank @0.8l_usa and @nakeupface for letting me try your product for a small fee.

Nakeup Face PHA Water-Tox . ✨Claims: Improved effects of AHA and anti-oxidant and moisturizing power with a high content of PHA at 6%. PHA minimizes discomfort stinging or irritation and with no downtime, daily activities or makeup applications are possible immediately after peeling. The patented ingredient, Volurfilline, pumps up the interior of the skin, while PHA forms a hydra film on the surface. (@cosmetic_jolse) . ✨Texture: This serum is quite similar to a snail product's consistency. It's pretty tacky and it does take about 5 or so minutes to fully absorb into my skin. It's quite easy to spread so it only takes about 2-3 pumps for my face and neck area. . ✨Results: I've been experiencing sensitivity, due to over exfoliating my skin, so I avoided acids for quite some time now. Due to this, my skin has been pretty rough lately and also takes a bit for products to fully sink in to my skin. This PHA serum (I tend to use this as a serum step) helped with my skin issues! It's so gentle on my skin, that I didn't really think it was doing anything at all, however I wake up in the morning with really soft skin. First Impressions: #NakeupFace PHA Water Tox Ampoule 🌸33ml/~$23 in pink glass bottle with pump 😍 🌸Scent: intially perfume, then chemically 🌸Texture: thicker jelly with a very sticky finish 🌸To be used after toner 🌸Ingredient highlights: 6% PHA (gluconolactone), salicylic acid, Volufiline (TM) - hydrogenated polyisobutene and anemarrhena asphodeloides root extract, hydrolyzed collagen, adenosine, and multiple algae extracts. This ampoule claims to plump and hydrate the skin while gently exfoliating the skin with PHA and BHA. The larger PHA molecules make this a gentler exfoliant, and the brand claims it can be used in the daytime without any photosensitivity. I've only had the chance to use this about 3 times, but so far I'm a fan of this gentle exfoliator. It seems to be gentle enough for daily/near daily use even for more sensitive skin, although I haven't had the chance yet to try it daily. I have noticed my skin feeling slightly smoother and looking glowy in the morning after use. I always use acids at night due to preference, but the brand claims this wears well under makeup. I use this after toner as directed, but it leaves an incredibly sticky finish behind. The stickiness seems to fade after a few minutes, and it helps to layer other products over it. I've noticed a boost of hydration if I don't wipe this off before proceeded with my routine. So far, I'd recommend this as a gentle exfoliator for those looking for one. I'm definitely going to continue using it and ramp up to daily use to see if there's any effects. I've used 2% PHA daily and saw absolutely no effect, so I'm curious to see how this fares. This product is Nakeup Face's PHA WATER-TOX AMPOULE and this is a honest review for it. Luckily this doesn't have a strong scent to it because to me it has a scent that smells like nail remover. I can't say much about this product until I use it longer but it does hydrate the skin and absorbs pretty well.

PHA is an exfoliating acid that is mild and safe for daily use on the skin. The size of the molecules are bigger than AHA and BHA which lessens skin irritation and sensitivity to sunlight. In addition, PHA helps to maintain moisture. Volufiline is a patent ingredient that pumps up the interior of the skin. This ampoule contains 100% deep sea water that is rich in minerals compared to distilled water. (Cited from Nakeup Face marketing material on Amazon) . ▪️Texture & Scent: The texture of the ampoule is thick and viscous. Despite its sticky texture, it spreads easily on the skin. It does take some time to absorb but dries down to a comfortable semi-matte finish. The only scent I detected is a chemical smell but it’s very subtle. . 🤔Reflect & Conclusion: Before I dive into the product I have to mention the gorgeous packaging. I love that it’s a pump, stored in a pink frosted glass, and has a decent plastic white cap 😍. The biggest take away I got from this product is that a little goes a long way. At first, I used a full pump and it was too much and overly sticky. Half a pump is plenty for my entire face and neck. I still experienced the same results with less product. Despite its sticky texture, once absorbed I was able to apply sunscreen and moisturizer without any issues. . Based on first impressions I felt the ampoule does what it claims. The mild exfoliation of the PHA was noticeable for me and my skin felt adequately hydrated. It left my skin smooth but not irritated. I’ll have to continue using it to measure the effects of the Volufiline claims. I would recommend it to all skin types and would repurchase. . This ampoule is great!! I have really not used an ampoule like this before...it has great slip to it, yet when it dries down it become sticky, but not in a way that is horribpe, but it is sticky enough that anything that goes on over it is gripped and skins in well. I think this retails for under $20 and I would pay WAY more for it. It leaves my skin plump and wonderful and really doesn't smell like anything. The texture is pretty much like honey. Also, the packaging is real glass and feels way more sturdy than the price point. the box is also really cool too. I am glad I got to try this out for a trial fee from @0.8L_USA. @nakeupface, you killed it with this one!!

It is a little sticky but goes on smooth. - If you don't enjoy the stinging when you exfoliate , depending on the acid you use of course, then TRY this. ♥️ . Nakeup Face PHA Water-Tox Ampoule has PHA and BHA for some light exfoliation and containing some antioxidants ingredients to keep the skin moist and plump. It has a watery gel consistency, it goes on the skin very smoothly and tacky when pressing it in. You would think there are snail mucin in this, but there isn't. The tackiness does go away after a while or directly put on your next step and it'll go away. It seems like it was made well to play nice with other products. There definitely needs to be a long term use of this product. There is no wow factor for immediate results. The skin does glow the next morning.

I received Nakeup Face PHA Water Tox Ampoule at a discounted rate, thanks to 08L, to use and review. This was my first time ever trying a chemical exfoliater...I'm not sure what I was expecting, but it wasn't this. This product contains PHA, a 3rd generation exfoliater, which is super gentle in comparison to AHA or BHA products. Volufiline (a patented ingredient) is supposed to plump up the interior of your skin while the PHA forms a hydra-film on the surface. What I first noticed was the consistency of this ampoule, I was expecting something thinner or runny, like water. With one pump, the almost snot-like product plopped onto the back of my hand and stayed in place. I rubbed it in and there was indeed a film that lasted a long time, never really absorbing fully, until I washed it off. Due to the above description, I decided to only use this product at night and allow it time to "work it's magic". I've had this ampoule for 1 week and have used it 3 times. I can't say I've noticed any results, but know I need more than a week for that. What I have noticed is that my chin is starting to breakout in little pimples...the problem is that along with this ampoule I've tried a mask (once, never again) and am not sure which gave me the reaction. At this point, I haven't been able to use this product long enough to offer my true feelings. I will update this review in a month with my honest findings. Rating: 3/5 stars

What is PHA? Polyhydroxy Acid. Know as the most gentle exfoliant of all. Know to be much more gentle than AHA’s or BHA’s because the molecular size of the PHA is much smaller., which means it offers a slower penetration into the skin. This means much more gentle exfoliating action, which also means its good for sensitive skin. PHA’s are also humectants, which means they attract moisture to the skin, improving hydration. They are also anti inflammatory and antioxidant. PHA’s can also be used more regularly because of not being so harsh in the skin. Other ingredients- Adenosine, yeast derived ingredient that functions as a good skin soothing agent and good skin restoring agent. It also has proven anti-wrinkle benefits. Adenosine is a beneficial ingredient for all skin types. This ampoule is very moisturizing, it is quite heavy on the skin, but a small amount does go a long way. It really gives your skin a beautiful glow. It really helps with retaining moisture in the skin all day long. Use at bedtime or in the morning. Its texture is very thick and sticky. If you are not careful with the amount, when applying it, you are going to have one big sticky messy face, that anything and everything will stick to. After my first terrible experience, my second use I limited the amount to just a few drops and applied it where I needed it the most and rubbed it in until it absorbed. First of all, this is an active, so I can’t speak to its efficacy just yet as I’ve only had it for a couple of weeks. You can’t really tell how well an acid is working until you’ve consistently used it for several weeks. . That said, here’s what I DO know: 🦕 This ampoule is 6% gluconolactone, which is a common PHA. PHAs are gentler and generally less irritating than AHAs and BHAs, so they’re a good choice for people with sensitive skin! It also contains BHA, though I’m not sure at what %. 🕊 Another star ingredient is Volufiline, a patented formula intended to volumize the skin. I don’t know much about this, so take it with a huge grain of salt. 🤷🏻‍♀️ 🦖The formula has lots of anti-aging, soothing and moisturizing ingredients, eg - bladder wrack, glycerin, adenosine, elm and hydrolyzed collagen. 🦕This has a mucous-y, snail-y texture. It’s a bit stickier than I would like, and I have to wipe my face with a toner before continuing to the rest of my routine. 🐉 The lovely @colebiancardi has pH tested this at 3.5, which is NOICE. 👌🏻My strips didn’t arrive in time, so I’m trusting her read! Look out for her review of this too, she’s great. ☺️ . Overall, I have lots of positive feelings about this! It’s the right pH, seems to be well-formulated and would be suited to any skin type imo (barring allergies of course). I’m going to keep using it and see if it exfoliates my stubborn skin as well as the more irritating acids I generally use! Aside from the stickiness, I enjoy using it and recommend it to anyone curious about PHAs.

Pha Water-tox Ampoule Review The Pha Water-tox Ampoule is a hypoallergenic ampoule that produces mild peeling to give your skin a moisturized and hydrated look. The ampoule contains root extracts to plump up the volume and improve resilience of the skin. The product came in a 1.0mm bottle and can be distributed onto your finger tips and then applied to the skin. After washing your face, massage the ampoule throughly all over the face avoiding the eyes. Pros: this ampoule absorbs quickly into the skin and leaves your skin feeling hydrated and flawless. Cons: at first application the ampoule has a sticky texture. Additionally, I didn’t care for the applicator tip as it was difficult to get enough ampoule onto your fingertips. It would have been more efficient if it was a pump. Overall, I am in love with this product and plan to continue using it with my regular skin care routine. The product claims to help with acne and scarring. Due to a delay in shipping I was not able to test the product out for an adequate amount of time to notice major changes with my acne. Initial Impressions on Nakeup Face PHA Ampoule (courtesy of @0.8L_USA) This is my second Nakeup Face product that I have tried ~ I first tried their Stress O Toner and loved it, so I have high hopes for this product. This is a PHA Ampoule, with a concentrated water-based gel formula that is designed to moisturize, pump up your skin and gently exfoliate dead skin cells. This contains 6% PHA (gluconolactone) which has larger molecules than a traditional AHA so it is gentler on your skin and is not light sensitive, providing mild exfoliation, This has a patented ingredient called Volufiline™ (hydrogenated polyisobutene and anemarrhena asphodeloides root extract) which will stimulate your fat cells (adipocyte) and promote lipid storage, which will help plump up your skin and reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. This also contains 5 different types of seaweed, which are powerful antioxidant ingredients, helping to combat free radials and help reverse their damage to your skin. This also contains a BHA to help go deep into your pores and unclog them, removing excess oil and debris, while collagen provides intense moisturization. . . Okay, some deets: 3 to 3.5 pH level with 6% PHA ~ this is actually pretty good, as when I did the research on PHA's, an effective daytime product is 4% PHA with 3.8 pH level and a nighttime product is 10% PHA at 3.6 pH level. Scent: a bit chemical, what you would expect from an acid treatment. Moisture/Oil Levels: Increased moisture: 63% Decreased oil: 28%. Packaging: Capsule shape, plastic pink frosted bottom, white cap, pump applicator. Very cute! . . I honestly thought there were oils and snail slime in here. There isn't ~ but this gel has that viscous texture that I come to expect with snail slime and it feels oily as I massage and tap it into my skin. This is VERY moisturizing and it does leave a film on my skin ~ which according to Nakeup Face's description "PHA forms a hydra film on the surface". Yeah, there is a film that lasts about 10 minutes but wow, my skin feels so soft and supple ~ with a film. If you cannot wait 10 minutes, apply another product over this and the filmy feeling will go away. This is even better as a night time treatment because in the morning, my skin is still smooth and soft and feels great to the touch. As this has PHA and a BHA, I did not experience any breakouts using this, despite its really nourishing benefits. I have not seen any brightening with this, however and my pores are still the same, but for baby smooth soft and supple skin, I highly recommend this one! Review: @nakeupface PHA Water Tox Ampoule • • 🌀Packaging: For me, it resembles a pill from afar. I like it. It’s adorable. The bottle also has a pump for easy dispensing. • 🌀Scent: has a strong chemical mixed with perfume fragrance. I don’t care much for it. • 🌀Thoughts: This medium weight viscosity, translucent ampoule/serum contains 3 powerful anti-aging ingredients: polyhydroxy acid (PHA), Volufiline, and Adenosine. This chemical exfoliant PHA is supposed to be more effective than the other exfoliants but have less irritation effects. So I really want to love this ampoule. . But to be honest, I’ve only use this about 3 times at nighttime so I haven’t seen any visible results yet. I can’t get pass how sticky this serum is after application. It made my hair stick to my forehead, face, neck which in turn aggravate me so much.☹️I don’t think I’ll use it much more. .
