I received this Handmade Straight Mug by Yido Pottery from .08liter for testing purposes and I’m in love with the style and color! This a beautiful piece of art and one that is also functional. Works great for coffee and tea. It’s recommended to hand wash immediately after use, which is what I did in order to properly maintain this piece of pottery. I love the way it looks so much, I’m considering planting a succulent in it so I can just keep it on display. Love this and would love to have more from Yido pottery.

It’s a little bit shorter than I expected, but I think it’s a great size for tea but not for coffee. This is approximately 3.7” wide x 2.7” tall in the color celadon green. The mug has a minimalistic look to it but, it’s beautifully crafted. This mug retails for $25 so it’ll only be used by me, because I don’t trust anyone else with it😝 The mug can be purchased through amazon.com and is packaged very well.

Given they are fully handmade the art in that simple mug is stunning. Yido’s ceramic-wares are made from specially prepared porcelain that cannot be found anywhere else in the world. Unlike mass produced ceramics, Yido’s products are carefully handcrafted and valued for their unique qualities. After being glazed with 100% natural materials, they are fired at 1,250°C in a kiln. This handmade straight mug that is 7 ounces is absolutely gorgeous and very sturdy! At first I was surprised because I thought it would be bigger but then I realized it’s a tee or coffee mug which I don’t drink so I decided it’s perfect for my milk and cookies. The color is a shade of green with brown pottery on the bottom and Yido’s signature emblem “Yoon” which is on all of their pieces and I sure hope I’m picked to get their bowl because it’s absolutely gorgeous as well 🤞🏻 It’s definitely time to continue my Yido collection and you can find them on Amazon!

Although I know I’m more of a skincare person (obviously), I couldn’t resist getting this mug when I had the chance. Yido Pottery was founded in 1990 by Yi, Yoonshin who belongs the the first generation of Korean potters, first dedicated to making what is known as “everyday ceramics”. Their work is the epitome of elegance in minimalism, each piece is unique and handcrafted in a Ceramic Studio at Yeoju, South Korea. I’m a coffee addict and what can be more enticing than freshly brewed coffee in a handmade and unique mug? Especially a mug made with 100% South Korean Clay. I love the celadon green color of this mug, black dots and freckles on it and the guarantee that this is only mug in the whole world that looks exactly like this. Yido Pottery Cheongyeon Handmade Straight Mug (courtesy of @0.8L_USA) This is my second piece of @yidopottery and I am so impressed that I purchased a bowl in the Cheongyeon design on Amazon ~ I plan to slowly build up my Yido Pottery Collection. Established in 1990, by Yi, Yoonshin, Yido Pottery is dedicated to making "everyday ceramics" with unique, handcrafted pottery using Korean traditions. These works of art are created in the Ceramic Studio in Yeoju, South Korea. Cheongyeon is one of their signature lines and it is described as Korean beauty found through refined and sophisticated aesthetics of blue. This mug has that coiled look to it ~ and you can tell it is handmade. The blue shade is more of a celadon jade green, in my opinion and you can see the reddish-brown clay under the glaze, which I think could be a slip glaze and has fine cracks ~ this is normal. There is an unglazed emblem with the signature "Yoon", which is on all of the pieces by Yido Pottery. . . The mug is about 2.7 inches tall and 3.7 inches wide and holds 7 ounces, which is the perfect size for me, as I don't drink gallons of coffee at home. Most of the time, I leave 1/2 of my coffee in my mug because I have to get going to work ~ but 7 oz works out well, as I can drink all of that! You can use this for tea, cocoa or any hot drink and I just love this! I absolutely love this mug. I love how it's handmade. I also love how flat the bottom is. It makes it extremely convenient. The mug is also microwave and dishwasher safe. I absolutely love hot tea and this mug is perfect. I want to purchase one for my Grandma as she is an avid tea lover and I know would appreciate the art. It's literally art that doubles as a mug. I'm addicted to coffee cups and I'm so happy I could add this to my collection. When I saw this come up as a try now I knew I had to have it. It is on the smaller side than most the cups I own but it holds a decent amount. It seems durable and is reccomended by the company to clean immediately after use. Each of the ceramic products Yido has are handmade and has "Yoon" signature carved on them.
