This is my review for the DIY Detox Mask in coconut rose that I received from 0.8lusa for a small fee in exchange for my honest review. 🌹 product details 🌹 Removes toxins and impurities + Improve overall complexion by fading hyper-pigmentation + Encourages collagen and elastin production + Moisturizes dehydrated skin + Safe for all skin types! 🌹 My thoughts 💭 I love clay mask so I was very excited when I was able to get this one roses 🌹 and coconuts 🥥 are two of my favorite skincare ingredients to. As you as you open this little bottle you can definitely smell the coconut then a hint of rose i enjoyed the scent. I mixed about 2 teaspoons of rose water with some clay making a mask paste. Then i applied with a plastic mask brush all over my face. It was really easy to blend the paste and it was easy to spread around the face something clay mask can be hard to apply because if the consistency maybe there to thick or to thin this one was perfect. After about 15 mins the mask was pretty dry so I started to wash it off with some lukewarm water 💦 let me tell you immediately I can tell my skin texture was so smooth and soft it looked brighter and felt more moisturized. I was very happy with the immediate results after one use, and what I really like about this mask is you can you it in so many ways as a overnight spot treatment , treatment for acne scars and for blackheads. You can also mix this mask with your preferred liquid milk, juice, apple cider, aloe Vera etc. Overall a really fantastic mask and I definitely recommend. This mask retails for $16 for 60.0 ML. I probably should have used measuring spoons because the process with a teaspoon vexed my soul. It was easy to spread which is no surprise because the powder was super soft and silky before adding water. The mask tightened and dried quickly with a dewy look. I knew my face would feel silky because my finger tips were silky while rinsing the mask of off my hands. Pink Wednesday pink mask from @honeybelleshop . . . You mix it up with water or toner or honey , aloe whatever - I chose to use some toner. It contains coconut milk so it was a little bit hard to mix... and then I added too much liquid and went back and forth for a bit until everything dissolved well. It also contains rose kaolin clay which is naturally pink which makes this adorable. And to add to the pinky gudness they included beet root and hibiscus. I will say that it doesn't seem to dry down completely matte, seemed a bit oily which is fine for my dry as a bone skin. My only qualm was that it kinda stains your skin pink which I'm assuming is the beet/hibiscus but if you use a cleanser afterwards it seems ok. It also low key smells like my dogs coconut conditioner which is kinda fun, no shade. . . . Overall not bad, very cute and I wonder if they make a mask that doesn't contain coconut milk. I’m slowly becoming more and more of a fan of these DIY powder masks because I can use my own essence/toner as the base. This mask did not disappoint. I used a Japanese skin conditioner as the base when I tried this out, and I’m excited to try other combos. I enjoyed this mask so much that I told my intern at work I was going to bring her a sample. The mask definitely has a coconut scent to it, which I loved. That is due in part to the ingredients: coconut milk, beet root, hibiscus leaf and rose clay. The last ingredients are what give this mask it’s pretty rose color. Also a cute side note, love is included as one of the ingredients ❤️ The mask took about 10-15 mins to dry down. It washed off easily, and I did not experience any redness as the label warned may happen. My skin felt softer and clean after using. Overall, I loved this mask and love supporting smaller brands. DIY Detox Mask Coconut Rose Made with coconut milk, hibiscus leaf, rose clay and beetroot which claims to maintain skin elasticity, detoxifies and soothe and add glow to the skin. I mixed the powder with rose water from Trader Joe's then spread it all over as evenly as possible and waited about 10-15 mins cause certain areas on my face are quite sensitive. The smell of the powder is quite overpowering that it covers the rose water scent. The smell reminds of bread which is not at all a bad thing haha. Rinsed the mask off with warm water, it very easily rinsed off. I didn't make the mask really thick, it was more of a yogurt consistency. My skin is smoother, the pores looks clearer but not much on nourishing.

This DIY mask was so fun to use and just the type of mask my skin needs. It provides nourishment, moisture, and helps combat inflammation. After using this mask my skin didn’t feel tight like most clay masks will do to you, it felt refreshed and soothed. The mask definitely helped to calm any blemishes that were on my skin and made my skin feel baby smooth due to a slight exfoliating effect. My only complaint on the product is I wish they explained how thick the mask should be because I felt I wasted a lot of the powder because the mask always felt a little runny. If you have dry, acne prone skin this is a great mask to help with breakouts without drying your skin out.

Omgoodness I'm getting this review in almost late! I've not had alot of time due to working so many hours at work, ok so I have used this DIY Detox Mask in Coconut Rose made by Honey Belle (duchy a cute name for a brand), twice now. The first time I mixed the pink powdery formula with rose water, and the second time with my AHA toner by Manyo Factory. Both times very very little liquid was needed to create a clay. As a matter of fact the second time the AHA is housed in a spray bottle so I had the genius idea to just spritz a few sprays into the powder, I do not recommend doing that, the powder flew up and I wasted some, instead add the powder to your liquid for two reasons, first, it makes less of a mess, second of all its easier to use just enough powder to make a clay than to add too much water and making it runny, which I did both times, however, it still applied nicely with a brush. I haven't been using it long enough to see long time results but I did notice immediately my face felt extra smooth after I rinsed it away and my pores seemed much much smaller. I received this mask at a discount in exchange for my opinion through 0.8L.

I have been wanting to try this for the longest time! 🥥🌹 Claims: This DIY powder mask contains coconut milk, hibiscus leaf, beetroot, & kaolin clay to nourish, soothe, & vitalize the skin. They claim it will remove toxins, help fade hyper pigmentation, encourage collagen production, & moisturize the skin! 🥥🌹 My first impression of this mask wasn’t the greatest. I accidentally put in way too much water so the mask wasn’t the right consistency. The smell was also a little off putting. What I soon realized to be the organic coconut smells like stale potato chips (at least to me). It wasn’t a deal breaker scent but it’s not my favorite. After a few uses I did get used to the smell & I’d prefer an organic smell over an added scent that will not benefit the skin. I quickly learned putting some of the powder into your hand & mixing it with a FEW drops of water (toner, milk, or any other liquid! I’m fond of a gentle toner myself) is the way to go. It turns the mask into the perfect mud consistency to apply to the skin. This mask is meant to be left on for 5-20 minutes. I must say this mask is extremely easy to wash off which I appreciate! It leaves the skin extremely soft & doesn’t dry it out. My skin truly does feel nourished & hydrated. I have oily, dehydrated skin & the coconut really soothes & hydrates while the kaolin clay helps with my oil control. I feel like this mask is great for any skin type. It’s extremely gentle & easy to use. It’s something I’ve been incorporating into my routine twice a week & I’ve been enjoying it. You get 2oz for $16 which will last you a while depending on how much you mix. The bottle shocked me at first with how tiny it was but you don’t need a lot of product to make the mask. I highly recommend checking this out & I definitely want to try more products from the brand! 🥥🌹

Forever in search of the perfect pink clay mask 💕 . 💞Let me first introduce y'all to the amazing brand @honeybelleshop. I followed them on insta after receiving this product from @0.8l_usa and quickly realized they operate right here in the 626/OC area! They're actually going to be at the 626 night market this weekend but I won't be able to make it over 😭😭 Besides these adorable and effective DIY clay masks, they also produce a whole range of skin and body care products (INCLUDING ROLLERS) that is organic, natural, and cruelty free! . 💞So back to the mask... 😅 This has a short and sweet ingredient list: coconut milk, rose kaolin clay, hibiscus leaf, beetroot, and love (gotta love that last one). Mix one tsp of mask with 1/2 tsp of literally any liquid of your choosing and BAM you've got a nourishing mask that smells like coconut heaven and literally leaves your face GLOWING! . 💞As you may be able to tell, I fell head over heals for this mask and Honey Belle. In general, I think powder masks are genius because they're travel friendly and you can customize the consistency each time you use it. They also just save space on your counter and imo are more sanitary since bacteria is less likely to grow in dry conditions. . 💞The label warns about temporary redness after removing the mask but I never experienced this. Maybe because I've only been using water? But in any case, I love that it doesn't irritate my face at all and leaves my skin so supple and glowy. I would compare the effects to my Skin&Lab pink clay mask that I adoooore. After trying this mask out though I think I'll hold off on repurchasing Skin&Lab's 😏 . 💞I would DEFINITELY recommend this to anyone looking for an awesome mid-week pick me up mask or just a little something extra to add to their masking routine. I really liked the idea and concept of making my own mask using this Detox coconut rose mask and whatever liquid I wanted to mix with. My first couple of uses I used water to be safe with testing it on my skin. 🌹 I like that you can adjust the texture by adding more powder or liquid as necessary. It smelled really amazing, but light. It was a clean coconut scent. 🥥 I forgot to take a photo while on, but it dried pretty quickly. I left on for about 10-15 min and rinsed with warm water as directed. My skin felt refreshed and smoother, but not over dried. My pores already look smaller after 3 uses. I am excited to try it with other mixtures and see how my skin feels. I am loving the improvement I’m seeing with this mask. The only thing I wasn’t too fond of is it took a bit to get the particles to completely mix and not have small powder chunks.
