#olivarrier Dual Moist Hyaluron Essence First of all, this essence is completely unscented. When I sniff it, I can’t smell anything, not even the usual scent that unscented products have. It has a ton of great ingredients like squalene, hyaluronic acid, and centella asiatica extract. Also, Olivarrier’s products are all vegan, cruelty free, and EWG verified. The product comes in a sturdy pump and is a slightly viscous, milky liquid. The instructions say to rub it in, but I’ve found it’s better to pat it in, otherwise it streaks a bit. It moisturizes my skin really well and does well with other products layered over it. As an added bonus, it’s also slightly soothing (but still mostly moisturizing). I had a bit of irritation around my nose and this helped calm it down so it wasn’t hurting as much. Overall, I think this is a really nice moisturizing essence with great ingredients from a great company. 4/5 Might repurchase once my stash is less crazy. It would be convenient for traveling. • 💧Scent/Viscosity: this milky white essence has a light and runny texture. I did not detect any fragrance. • 💧Performance: even though I no longer abuse my face with acids/exfoliants and causing damage to my skin barrier, I still appreciate this essence a lot. The essence soaked in fast after some patting, leaving my skin semi-matte. Strangely enough, I find that the essence absorbs a lot faster if I applied other layers of toner/lighter essences before this essence when compared to bare skin. . The brand name is derived from two words Olive + Barrier. Their philosophy is less but better. Olivarrier does not test on animals and more than 95% of the plant material is organic. All of their products are free of fragrances, dyes, synthetic preservatives, silicone, petrochemicals, GMO and essential oils .. Claims: Micro-hyaluronic acid supplies moisture to the stratum corneum that ordinary hyaluronic acid can not reach. Squalane and tocopherol extracted from olive and Tiare flowers prevent oxidation and moisture loss, creating a healthy and resilient skin .. Thoughts: This comes in a plastic pump bottle that is functional. The packaging is simple and minimal. It is a milky slightly viscous liquid and is fragrance free. Their website provides all the details regarding the ingredients, check it out if you want to know more about the product. This contains Squalane (Emollient, Moisturizer, Antioxidant), Hydrolyzed Hyaluronic Acid (humectant, provides instant hydration), Centella Asiatica (calming and soothing), Fresh Tiare Tahiti flowers, picked at bud stage, are put in soaking into refined coconut oil (copra) during 12 days at a rate of 12 flowers/liter. At the end of this period, the soaking is left settling for 24 hours, it is filtered, purified and enriched with a natural antioxidant (Tocopherol / Vitamin E solution.
