I’m starting to think the answer to all my prayers lies in skin barrier products. 😂 the consistency of this is like a thin, milky consistency but not too runny. Once you blend it in it leaves your skin looking super moist and when it starts to dry you’ll feel somewhat of a tightening feeling. Afterwards you’re left with super soft and protected skin. I personally love to use this under makeup because I feel that it prevents more oils from coming out and ruining my makeup. 😁 it has no odor and it comes with a hygienic pump dispenser! One pump is generally enough for my face, but you can always add more!

#Olivarrier Dual Moist Hyaluron Essence ⠀ I've been using and loving the Olivarrier Fluid Oil (100% squalane oil) for quite some time, so I absolutely had to try their essence! Olivarrier focuses on products that are skin barrier friendly pH 5.5 and feature olive-derived squalane. The brand is vegan, cruelty free, and EWG verified. ⠀ This essence claims to hydrate and calm any skin type, including the most sensitive. The featured squalane moisturizes, soothes, and prevents irritation, the centella asiatica extract is an anti-inflammatory, and glycerin and hyaluronic acid hydrate. ⠀ I've seen a few different versions of ingredients lists floating around for this product, but the one I have contains coconut oil and no longer has ceramides, olive oil or extracts, or oat extract. I've uploaded my version to Cosdna in case you're interested. ⠀ The essence comes in a plastic pump bottle with 100ml of product. The texture is fairly thin and milky, and there's no scent at all. Olivarrier Dual Moist Hyaluron Essence. This hydrating essence is packed with quality ingredients such as hyaluronic acid and glycerin (humectants which will help hydrate the skin), as well as squalane, which functions both as an occlusive (protective barrier over skin) as well as an emollient (helps strengthen skin barrier). It also contains centella asiatica extract, which is one of my fav ingredients and known for its anti-inflammatory and wound healing properties. It also doesn’t contain any parabens, which I don’t mind either way tbh. And it’s formulated for all skin types, including sensitive and acne-prone. . This essence comes in a simple white and grey and pump bottle. The essence is dispensed easily and 2 pumps is enough product for my face and neck. The essence itself has no scent but it has a milky white color. It has a slightly viscous texture that spreads easily and is absorbed quickly without leaving a residue. . Lately, my skin has been very irritated and sensitive, possibly due to a combination of overexfoliation, change in weather, not drinking enough water, testing too many new products, etc... whatever the cause, my skin needed a reset and extra nourishment to help rebuild my skin barrier. This product has been amazing! I’ve only been testing it for a short time (about a week), and it’s quickly found a spot into my daily routines. (Olivarrier global's website) . 💧Texture & Scent: This has a milky consistency, but it sinks in like a dream. Compared to other essences I've tried, this is slightly thicker, but I'm surprised how it's not sticky at all. I have oily/combo skin, and this did not make me look like a greaseball at all. I didn't really detect a (strong) scent on this one. There is a fresh/natural scent(?) but it fades away in seconds. . 💧Results: Instant hydration. This product has been a staple in my routine (along with another product, I'll be reviewing soon!), in the morning and evening routine. While I was in Hawaii, my skin got really irritated (mostly everything I packed burned my skin); I decided to decrease the amount of products I used and stuck with this, Troiareuke cream, and Klairs blue cream at night. The routine calmed my skin down while also providing me the hydration I needed. I actually tried cutting this product off of the routine to see if it'll make a difference, and my skin felt so tight after 2 hours of doing my routine. I honestly cannot agree more with the claims of this product, 10/10 would recommend to those suffering from dry, sensitive, and to those who also have combo skin! So I was suspicious that this was reformulated the moment I pumped some out.  It's milkier and more watery than my previous bottle. It applies beautifully, in fact it's less sticky than the original formulation and dries down nicely. Those were the major differences aside from the ingredients.  I was a little bummed when I saw they added coconut oil because it tends to clog my pores 😕. It contains a few key ingredients like squalane, centella asiatica,  hyaluronic acid of course and some botanical extracts. It no longer contains ferment. I was  happy to discover this version does not seem to clog me up too bad!   I like this because it does plump right away and provides a good layer of moisture and hydration.   It's not enough for me in winter,  but in the summer it's perfect. Olivarrier Dual Moist Hyaluron Essence is a milky lightweight essence that contains 95% naturally derived skincare ingredients and others such as micro hyaluronic acid, organic Centella Asiatica, squalane, and tocopherol. . . . This is the Olivarrier Dual Moist Hyaluron Essence. This claims to restore the moisture barrier and provide firm hydrated skin. Honestly I was surprised that it was a very milky consistency. It was a thicker essence and I didn’t think it would work for my oily skin. However I was surprised that it absorbed so quickly. It has a very subtle scent. I think it is very gentle on the skin and I would agree that most skin types could use this product. It works now but I can see this working even better during the winter. Overall, I think it did the job at hydrating but I would not repurchase since I don’t think it’s worth the price. I am thankful to 0.8L for helping me to try this product.

I fell in love with this product! Dual Moist Hyaluron Essence pH5.5 by olivarrier. The bottle is great, love that its a pump bottle so I can easily and cleanly get the amount needed for my skin. The texture is milky watery, but not too watery. It's texture reminds me of the Thank you farmer miracle repair toner, which I loved. I typically use it after my toner but before my oils/moisturizer It doesn't have much of a scent and it absorbs into the skin well. My skintype is dry and it soaks this product up! This product contains micro hyaluronic acid and squalane which work to deeply hydrate and Nourish.
