@euilab Refreshing Collagen Toner#review for the @0.8l_usa app. This #skincare product promises cleaner and more refreshed skin, without compromising on hydration. It helps remove final traces of makeup and impurities and tightens pores. The main ingredients are the following: Collagen Extract- Helps maintain elasticity, protects skin cells, improves hydration, and contains anti-aging effect properties. Algae extracts- Eliminates toxins, enables faster skin cell regeneration, helps retain hydration, and is suitable for the sensitive and irritated skin. Allantoin- Increases the skin’s ability to retain water, soothes skin, helps with skin cell turnover. This product has a strong tingling effect, so it may make sensitive skin or skin with sensory issues act up. I used it whenever I applied a sheet mask, to intensify its effects. Follow up with moisturizer and/or serum or the skincare routine of your choice. My results were overall improved skin tone and texture and reduction of fine lines. My skin felt refreshed and toned. I used it mainly at night because of the tingling effects. Using it during the day would have aggravated my skin’s because it doesn’t sit well under makeup. I did however, enjoy using this product. It is helpful in rejuvenating tired and dehydrated skin. This product is sensory issues friendly, but results may vary depending on your skin type. Just my friendly opinion. EUI Laboratoire Refreshing Collagen Toner I love toners as a first step of skin care routine, usually this is the step that wakes me up in the morning or calms my skin before night. This is also the step that I can layer up to my liking without worrying that it’ll make my combo skin to greasy or too bright, i don't want to be seen from the moon. I love it even more when the toner has a beautiful blue color and smells so fresh and refreshing without causing a headache. And a toner that contains collagen extract that supposedly helps with anti-aging and algae extracts that regenerates and revitalizes and on top of that has allantoin which hydrates, soothes and softens skin with ingredients that balance the natural pH level? What's not to love? I have been using this toner for around 2 weeks and I really love it. It refreshes and wakes up my skin. When used before night it removes leftover gunk leaving skin very clean and fresh. My skin seems to be nicely hydrated, softer, smoother and more even after use. 💦🔷 EUI Laboratory Refreshing Collagen Toner🔷💦 Y'all know I'm a sucker for toners. This one caught my eye for a couple reasons. ___ Pump bottle Bright blue color Collagen ___ I was really excited to try this brand for the first time as well. Unfortunately I have a love/hate relationship with this toner. I will start with what I do like. It's SUPER plumping and hydrating. Likely from the collagen and allantoin. The hydration lasts all day, which is great. I also like the algae extracts, I think that helps impart a healthy glow to the skin. It works great as a cleansing type toner too. The bounce & glow is real with this toner! Doesn't require many layers to achieve this. ___ What I don't like about this is complicated. It claims to be great for all skin types including sensitive. I don't consider my skin sensitive, but this stuff burned and stung upon initial application almost every time. I didn't have any kind of rash or anything, and I'm not sure why it feels that way. I ended up shelfing it due to this, but I did test it one last time the other day. Instead of using it as my first toner, I used it as my last toner. No stinging. 🤷 I mean, it shouldn't sting at all. KWIM? Also, it's fragrance isn't my favorite. It's got that false marine scent , IDK if that makes sense to you, but I swear I have smelled similar in some other products and I'm not a fan. It kinda lingers but not long enough that it would turn me from using it. ___ Ultimately, I'm not planning to repurchase and I would recommend it only to those who are not sensitive in any way. I think it's fine for dry to oily otherwise. I might still try something else from the brand, but I am going to be even pickier than I was before. EUI Laboratoire is a brand that I have had my eyes on for a while, so I was pretty excited to try out this collagen toner. I was especially excited as lately I’ve been worried about my eye wrinkles getting more pronounced. This particular toner claims the following: to enable skin regeneration at a faster than average rate through algae extracts, to maintain skin elasticity through collagen extracts, to increase the skin’s ability to retain water & stimulate new cell regeneration through allantoin; and of course, to balance the skin’s pH level. I have to say, this toner is definitely on the stronger spectrum of skin disruption - the ingredients are not gentle on the skin, there are multiple fragrance related ingredients, and for some reason, they added color. Although when I first use this toner, it does seem to immediately tighten/firm up my skin, I don’t think I have actually seen long term benefits. In fact, after checking out the ingredients list, I wonder if this is doing more harm than good. At $36/150mL, I’d much prefer a cheaper toner with less harmful and more natural ingredients. Not only would I NOT recommend this toner to any of my friends, I myself am considering not using this toner.

The Refreshing Collagen Toner is designed to remove impurities, traces of makeup. It refines the appearance of pores while guarding against dehydration. It balances the pH level and refreshes the complexion. This toner contains 150 ml (5 oz) and has a slightly perfumey skincare scent. It has a pump that can lock to keep it from leaking. The toner is a blue color and feels very cold, even slightly icy against the skin. Recommended use is to saturate a cotton pad morning and night and smooth over face, neck and décolleté after cleansing. Or pump a small amount into the palm of your hand and apply with fingertips. Follow with preferred serum and moisturizer. After using, this toner is very gentle, however, it does have kind of a strong fragrance and artificial coloring. The ingredients are very simple and there are no irritants. I found this toner to be very hydrating and it's super cold and refreshing to use. The pump is very sturdy and I like how it clicks to lock so it should be travel-friendly. What I like: the packaging is very nice, I like the pump and how it locks. I also like the simple ingredients and how cold it feels on the skin, it's very refreshing. I do like the fragrance as well and how hydrating it is. What I don't like: the fragrance is actually fairly strong and it's artificially colored. Otherwise, no problems. Rating: 8/10

I do generally like to use a good Toner, as my second step though. 🦋 Details: Most toners I’ve used tend to be Clear, but this one is “Clear Blue Liquid”. I’m not familiar with the ingredient (CI 42090 (Blue 1). It does kinda make it look more appealing. Upon researching; I found that this is a Cosmetic Colorant, and under the EWG Skin Deep Cosmetic Database, CI 42090 (Blue 1) is a 2 score. This isn’t bad, but “use restrictions” is at the low-moderate level for health concerns. It’s basically classified as a “triphenylmethane color”. I notice many KBeauty or other “Organic” Skincare products that I’ve used will give an EWG rating, and 1 or lower is best for anyone Sensitive to certain ingredients, or just truly safe overall. 🦋 Benefits: The Collagen Extract is good for elasticity in skin, & protects skin cells. It’s good for hydration & anti-aging effect. Algae Extracts are good for eliminating toxins from the skin, regeneration of skin cells, and hydration. Great for Sensitive or irritated skin. The Allantoin helps skin retain water, while encouraging skin to stimulate new cell regeneration for healthy skin tissue. 🦋 Generally, toners remove any remaining traces of makeup.
