Another sunscreen review! This one is super easy. ❤❤ If I were to come to you and ask you to try this new light-weight, fragrance-free face moisturizer you'd tell me it's a nice light-weight, fragrance-free moisturizer that absorbs well and dries to a satin finish without shine or tack. If I then told you that you had actually just applied a sunscreen with the highest levels of broad spectrum sun protection on the market, you would not believe me. Since there's no white cast or stinging or odor or any indication that this product is a sunscreen, it's hard to believe the claims that are on the package. But with a name like Klairs, and a search through the ingredient list to see Uvinul A Plus and octyl triazone, it seems the claims can be trusted. Throw in some skin care ingredients like seabuckthorn oil, allantoin, niacinimide, and beta-glucan and you've got a really nice daily face moisturizer that happens to protect you from sun damage as well. Add in that the Dear Klairs Soft Airy Essence is alcohol-free, vegan, EWG green, you've found one of the best daily face sunscreens available. Compared to Canmake Mermaid Skin Gel, it's very similar. Klairs is a little thicker, a little creamer, a little bit more moisturizing. Both are equally gentle, non-drying, great for sensitive and dry skin. BTW, if you are still not getting your sunscreen from Japan or Korea, you really do need to get on board, as does the FDA!!

I've found it, my hg sunscreen. My search is over and the Klairs Soft Airy UV Essence will be my best friend this summer. It doesn't even feel like I put sunscreen on, it feels like just another moisturizer and I actually think it makes my makeup up look better.

This is my review for Klairs Soft Airy UV Essence Sunscreen. Thank you @0.8L_Usa and @wishtrend for kindly sending me this product for review purposes, although this was sent to me, all my opinions and thoughts are unbiased.⠀ ⠀ i can safely say without a doubt that this sunscren is my HG product! Let me tell you a little in-depth information about my skin. My skin is sensitive acne-prone skin that is reactive to any forms of silicones, especially dimethicones. These ingredients break me out in hives and develop red bumps immediately if it is in contact of my face. My body is perfectly fine with dimethicone/silicone but somehow my face is having issues with these perfectly safe ingredients that many people normally don't have a prblem with. So why is this sunscreen considered a holy grail for me? Let's find out after I talk about the product details and such.⠀ ⠀ ■ Product Details⠀ • The Klairs Soft Airy UV Essence SPF 50 PA++++ is an everyday sun protector for sensitive skin. As is it water-based, it holds a gel-type texture to give a soft weightless and light finish. Also with its high SPF and PA level, it completely guards the skin against UVA, UVB without leaving any greasiness or white cast.⠀ • Cruelty and Vegan Free⠀ • Contains 80mL of products, which is large for Korean sunscreens.⠀ ⠀ ■ My Thoughts⠀ One thing I hate about sunscreens in general is that the majority of sunscreens out in the market contains dimethicone/silicone. I have scoured and spent countless hours of my time trying to find sunscreen that won't break me out! I searched for Japanese, Taiwanese, American, European, and many Korean sunscreens, but to no avail they all contain dimethicone/silicones; Although, there were instances I found sunscreens without these ingredients! I was happy and excited to buy it instantly without accosting for the prices, I was desperate. Unfortunately, they gave me a horrible whitecast, it was too heavy, didn't sink in well, the product would pill on my skin. It was terrible!⠀ ⠀ Then came this wonderful sunscreen, I was hopeful, but I didn't hold expectations since I didn't want to feel disappointed if the results weren't what I wished for, I just need a sunscreen that ⠀ would be suitable for my skin type. I tried it the first day and looked at the sunscreen's appearance and thought to myself, "Uh, Oh" pertaining to how the consistency looked like a dense white thick cream that would give me a horrible white-cast and feared it would drag my skin down to the ground due to how it might be heavy for my face. To my surprised, the result was quite different the sunscreen melted into a slightly watery consistency and melted into ky face smoothly. It absorbed into my face quickly despite my initial impression of the consistency.⠀ Fast forward to 2 hours, I didn't break out and my face felt fresh and not-too heavy. At the end of the day, my face looked irritated and an oil-slick, but this is not the products fault since I naturally have oily skin and my skin is quite sensitive so I quite expected my face becoming slighty irritated. This is the only sunscreen I use consistently while out in the sun since it is so good! Only thing I would change is for wishtrend to get rid of the essential oils, then I would consider this my lifetime sunscreen.

⚜️My Thoughts Sunblock is a big deal for me. Especially as I get hyperpigmentation at times and also use acids, which can make the skin burn easier. But the difficult thing is finding a sunblock that doesn’t burn my skin as well as leave a white cast on my skin, and then finally, wears well under makeup without looking too oily. Klairs has done a great job with this sunblock. It meets all of my requirements for a good sunblock and it was very light on my face. I hate it when I feel my sunblock on. I think this will be my new sunblock as soon as I’m finished with my Biore Watery Essence sunblock.

This UV essence is perfect for everyday use! ❤️I apply it under my makeup and after my moisterizers and it works perfectly! ❤️The light, non-greasy texture is very impressive to me. alot of sunscreens have a very oily texture which completely offsets the balance of my skin's natural oil levels so it works perfectly! ❤️I've been using it for a week and I have noticed a visible difference! The hyperpigmentation in my lower cheeks has decreased. 💔The one downside is the smell. it has a strange, chemical-ish smell to it and although it is faint I am very sensitive to smells. ❤️other than that, I love this product and I am excited to continue using it!

I really like this sunscreen. It came in a compact tube which was also cute and simple. It was pretty easy to dispense the lotion and it has a milky white smooth texture. It glides very smoothly and feels like and moisturizing. It absorbs quickly as well. I did not detect any perfumy fragrant which is great for my sensitive skin and it doesnt feel oily afterward. No white cast which is great. I wore it on a pretty overcast day so I am not very sure on its sun protection ability but I really like that it layers so well under make-up. It is alcohol-free which makes it more moisturizing than my usual sunscreen (Biore Water Essence) It also has Niacinamide and Vitamin E which are great more my hyperpigmentation. However, I heard that Niacinamide makes your skin more sensitive to sunlight so i'm not sure how having that in a sunscreen would help? I really like it overall though. Def a sunscreen i would use often.

Unfortunately, I am really disappointed in this! I had such high hopes for it - it’s such a well loved product by so many! What does this promise to do? ☁️Everyday sun protector for sensitive skin ☁️Water-based, gel texture ☁️Soft weightless finish ☁️No greasiness ☁️No white cast I was hoping that this would be similar to my HG Anessa Essence Sunscreen but this sunscreen is a no go for me. It feels good and hydrating upon application though it smells a little bit like glue. It didn’t bother me too much and I would have continued using it except that for something that promises to be non-greasy, I’m an oil slick 3 hours in. My makeup would probably slide right off if it wasn’t for my layers of primer. If you have sensitive skin, this is indeed a gentle, hydrating sunscreen; I think it’s a chemical one but I’ve not noticed any burning or irritation like I usually would with chemical sunscreens. True to its promise, it does not leave a white cast which I know is a deal breaker for many. It also blends in really easily and makeup glides on without pulling. The only other good news for me is it makes my Medicube cushion go on and stay so much better because that one gets so cakey from how dry my skin is. I do still think this dehydrates my skin because I get the tight feeling even with Silk Canvas and Cicapair Recover. I totally recommend trying it for yourself because although it didn’t work for me, it works beautifully for so many others! Just sad that it didn’t work out, but ah well! Guess my body gets a good sunscreen! It’s a good size at 80ml and goes for USD23 on the Wishtrend site!

I'm looking for a sunscreen that's light, effective, and won't melt off my face in the hot weather. Could this be 'The One' I've been looking for? This Klairs SPF is a light, everyday sun protector great for sensitive skin. It's a water based sunscreen with a non-sticky, gel like consistency. Skin is left with a soft, light finish that protects the skin from UVA and UVB, without leaving behind any grease or white cast. This product brightens skin, protects sensitive skin, and delays the signs of aging. It is ideal for all skin types. There are no additives included and all ingredients are EWG green label. These factors make it so everyone can be confident when using this sunscreen, no matter what their skin type. The ingredients in this sunscreen are all EWG green grade and have specific functions. Listed below are a few of the beneficial ingredients: Hippophae Rhamnoides Oil (aka Sea Buckthorn Oil) is listed as 'Vitamin Tree Oil' in Korean cosmetics. I have moisturizers with SPF, but those aren't the products I'm currently using in my regular routine. Recently I had found myself using my routine moisturizer and then applying a daily moisturizer that has an SPF included. That lead to a thick, uncomfortable layer of moisturizer left on my face. Now I don't have that problem, because I can use this light sunscreen with all my skin care products! I highly recommend this to everyone that's looking for a daily sun protector. It works great without clogging the pores, or leaving an oily film on the skin. Also, the lightness of the sunscreen stops it from melting off my face in the heat. If you know me then you know I always, always wear sunscreen. If I don’t wear it, I end up looking like a lobster in a matter of minutes. This one from Klairs has a very nice texture that really does feel weightless. Also, there is no whitish residue left on the skin after applying this, whereas there are quite a few sunscreens out there that do. I couldn’t detect much of a smell at all but it did not have the chemical odor that accompanies a lot of other sunscreens. The first day I used this I spent 6+ hours driving a car. I didn’t stop to reapply the sunscreen on a regular basis and ended up with some pretty red cheeks that evening. All the other days I tried this product I didn’t have the same problem because I reapplied it every 2-3 hours. This is a good sunscreen, it just seems to need more reapplying than other brands that I use (Etude House Sunprise and Soft Blur, Julep’s No Excuses clear sunscreen,) which makes it a tad inconvenient. I would still recommend this to others that don’t mind frequent reapplication or that only plan to have more than 2 or so hours of sun exposure. I do plan on using this on some days when I just plan on being out in the sun for an hour or two.

I’ve found my new sunscreen. I love how light it’s just as the name says it Airy.. I have dry acne-prone skin and almost every sunscreen breaks me out but this one didn’t so it’s definitely a Winner for me. It’s SPF 50 it’s a winner for me too. You are protected for sure. It doesn’t leave a white cast like many sunscreen does. I recommend it to give a try you’ll be happy.

Centella Asiatica Extract, which helps with the regeneration of new skin cells and prevents scarring. . ☀️ Thoughts: I only wish it were in a bigger size because this is indeed very calming. I used it on my full face and it was so moisturizing. It goes on cool, light and without greasiness. They recommend it as a spot treatment and it helped with a few sore spots I had on my jaw and cheekbones from dryness after using retinol and around my eyes that get sore from watering all day due to it being pollen season. . ☀️ Conclusion: I’m so happy with my first two Klairs products. I've been on the hunt for a good facial sunscreen lately, so when I had the chance to try this Klairs UV Essence that has 50SPF PA++++, I jumped on it. - The texture was pretty liquidy, but it didnt just run out of my hands. The texture made it easy to rub in without much effort. It left no white cast and didn't feel like it left a film on my skin which was awesome. - It definitely has a sunscreen scent, but it's pretty light. It wears off right away once it's on your face. - This didn't mess with my makeup AT ALL which was awesome. I could apply makeup right after I put this on (bad bad I know) and it didn't pill or anything. My makeup was still fully blendable and had it's full staying power. - Here's the downside. It breaks me out 😭😭😭. That's the issue I have with a lot of SPFs on my face. The breakouts were very minor for the first few weeks but with continued use they got worse.
