coming at you on this beautiful thursday with a first impression review! managed to snag this popular @klairs.global sunscreen from @0.8l_usa and after WEEKS, it finally arrived! when it comes to SPF, I either use a moisturizer with SPF, use a spray SPF before I apply makeup, or stay inside lol. my biggest qualms with sunscreen have been pilling with my moisturizer, too much sheen, or white cast. this product claims to be a “soft, weightless, invisible daily sunscreen that guards against UVA, UVB”...”without leaving greasiness or white finish” aka...exactly what I’m looking for. used it over my favorite moisturizer today, and not ONLY did it NOT pill, but it hardly changed the finish of my moisturizer!! it blended in beautifully, and left a semi-matte finish with NO stickiness! This is the @klairs.global Soft Airy UV Essence. This water-based gel type sunscreen is absolutely weightless and glides on your skin effortlessly without leaving even the slightest hint of a white cast. With SPF 50+ PA++++, it provides protection from UVA & UVB rays. It’s Broad Spectrum and Vegan. _ _ 🌞Allantoin, Adenosine & Niacinamide are a few of the key ingredients in this sunscreen that help to minimize skin damage and fight free radicals. There are also antioxidants that protect & improve your skin’s overall appearance. _ _ ☀️The sunscreen is definitely the consistency of a light water gel. It feels very wet to the touch, but don’t fret...it dries down without feeling sticky, tacky, greasy or oily ! But I wouldn’t say it’s matte, just not oily/greasy, so semi-matte maybe🤷🏽‍♀️. It definitely leaves your skin feeling very moisturized and soft. Oh...very important, there was a ‘slight’ plastic scent that immediately disappeared after application. That’s best I can describe the scent. _ _ 🌞My final thoughts...I liked the way this felt after I applied it. I always worry about my sunscreen layer being even, thanks @kindofstephen , so I used a flat puff to apply it. It also ensured I didn’t go overboard with it, like I’ve been known to do. Plus it makes for easy re-application every few hours. I liked this sunscreen and it felt nice & comfortable on the skin. I would definitely recommend it. However, if you’re watching ingredients, this does contain chemical filters and orange & chamomile essential oils for fragrance per CosDNA.
