Skin & Lab Dr. Vita Clinic Vitamin K Plus Red X-Essence – I love essences / serums which are essentially the same from what I can tell although I think essences are a little more liquid-y as this one is. Its main ingredient is Vitamin K (menadione) which is fantastic at controlling redness (happy dance) and is also for repairing damaged skin so that skin tone is more even. It is also hypo-allergenic and quite soothing. It also contains Spirulina - reinforces skin layer, eggplant extract - controls sebum and protects infection, and Centella asiatica - calms down skin. It has a pump which I like so I can somewhat control how much I use. Because of its consistency, it really doesn’t take a lot of product. If you have redness issues, this is definitely a product you should try. It is under $30 on Amazon and worth the price for helping with mine. Thoughts: If you know me well my biggest insecurities with my skin is redness and pores. I had been loving Centella Asiatica has been one of my favorite skin care ingredients that an essence by skin&lab is one I can’t pass. Texture is serum like with a mild earthy fresh scent. I had used this essence both as a spot treatment and as my primary essence and I feel like it works best use as a spot treatment. This essence provides soothing and reduces redness but not enough to be used alone. My skin can sometimes be sensitive and I wasn't able t use this product without issue and it did relieve my redness and provided hydration to my skin.

This is a new brand to me, but it seems like a good brand so I wanted to try this essence out! ● CLAIMS● Improve redness Even skin texture Soothe skin Control oiliness Moisturize Skin health ● IMPORTANT INGREDIENTS ● Vitamin k3 Spirulina Eggplant extract ● MY RESULTS AND EXPERIENCE ● I've never tried an essence that is mostly vitamin k based so I was excited to see what difference it might make in my skin. I don't have a lot of redness anymore due to other products that I use, but there is definitely still some there. Especially around my chin area where I tend to have breakouts. I've been using this almost 3 weeks and I was able to tell a difference within the first few days of use that this helped my chin area from being so red and inflamed from the breakouts. It definitely does soothe your skin, I can't tell much from oil control because I have combination skin and my t zone always gets a little oily by the end of the day, but I can say it does take a while before I start to see my makeup breaking down from oil. This essence isn't very thick and absorbs over the skin nicely, also no heavy scent. Overall I would say this is a good essence and I'm glad I gave it a try! We love anything minty green in this house. Coco sometimes too much. And I was super intrigued by this essence by @skinnlab_global because it has vitamin K in it and I appreciate clotting but I wasn't sure what it would do topically. Luckily it also features the usual slew of calming ingredients and some extra vegetation like broccoli🥦to make skincare a bit more interesting. . . . I found this lightly scented essence (altho my sense of smell is a bit dull so this could be offensive to some) I've only been able to use it for about a week but I feel like I have a good grasp at what it is probably best for and that is inflammation. I don't suffer from that type of skin issue too much (I don't get CCs I don't have rosacea at most I have allergies) but recently I was having some dermatitis pop up due to some severe allergies and this cooled things down. Now it wasn't as fast or strong of calming as some other medicated products but for an essence this wasn't bad. I'm most curious to see how people with rosacea/reddness/inflammatory acne respond to this! Granted this is a bit more pricey, at around 26 usd for a bottle but it might be worth wish listing for a sale! Or you could be lucky like me and grab it from @0.8l_usa for 3.99. I paid @0.8l_usa $3.99 to #review Skin & Lab K Plus Red-X Essence: * This essence contains vitamin K3 spirulina to combat redness * Essence is light clear green and has a slight citrus-y fragrance * It spreads easily and absorbs quickly * The essence didn't immediately remove the redness upon application. I believe this would require daily use for at least a month to see results. * It felt nice to use and it didn't irritate my skin which is a positive sign

On to the claims of this product: 💜calms & soothes redness & irritation 💜evens skin tone & controls sebum 💜hypoallergenic & contains vitamin k, spirulina & centella asiatica I’ve used this essence maybe twice now, so this’ll be more of a first impressions review. The essence is housed in a frosted light green glass bottle which also has a good weight to it. It has a bit of a thicker consistency more like a serum. I’m more used to a watery essence. But it’s lightweight and absorbs into the skin quickly. There’s a light refreshing scent to it, but it’s not overpowering. It doesn’t leave my face tacky/sticky. I’ll definitely continue using this essence and I’ll update with any changes.

The consistency feels a little thicker to me than the usual essences/serums/ampoules I use, and it take a little bit longer for it be absorbed and stop feeling tacky on my face. The product does seem to make my skin feel glow-y momentarily, but I can't tell if it decreased any redness. It did feel slightly cooling so I guess that helped with some feelings of irritation. I used this on an itchy, red patch under my jaw & it really helped to soothe it & after a few hours the redness was greatly reduced. I'm not sure if I'll use this all over my face daily, but I will definitely use it on my red cheeks & irritated areas as needed. I would recommend this essence for anyone with irritation, I think it would be good for any skin type. Their K Plus Red-X Essence is designed to help sensitive skin and soothe redness caused by laser or harmful factors from outside. The essence contains 50 ml (1.69 oz) and has a slightly astringent rosy scent. It comes with a pump and easily dispenses. The essence has a gel-like texture and is green in color. Only a little is needed and it blends out smoothly. After blending in, it helps to hydrate and brighten skin, making it look more vibrant. Recommended use is after cleansing, at the very last step of your skincare routine, apply an adequate amount (as you would with a cream) to the entire face or to target areas. It’s even more effective when used with the Vitamin K Toner. After applying, this essence has a fairly strong natural fragrance and natural coloring. Only a small amount is needed, so about 1-2 pumps and apply and gently pat into the skin to absorb. I have noticed my skin feels more deeply hydrated and smooth. The green color help to tone the redness and slowly remove it from the skin with extended use. It also helps the skin to look healthier and more vibrant. Other products layer over this nicely as well. What I like: this product is very soothing and tones down redness like it claims. It helps my skin to look healthy and more alive and it’s deeply hydrating and other products can go over it smoothly. The ingredients are lovely and I love the hard glass packaging and pump. Review! I have sensitive and easily reddened and fair skin, so this sounded like it would be a good product for me. The main ingredients include spirulina and vitamin K. I have heard spirulina is good for you in food supplements and smoothies, etc., but I've never heard of it in skincare. All in all, it is a good and gentle daily serum, and to really test it, I will have to use it after waxing or something to see how it really helps red skin, if at all. . . . The Skin N Lab Dr. Vita Clinic Vitamin K Plus Essence is a must have for sensitive acne prone skin to help calm the angry skin down. This essence has Vitamin K and Spirulina along with Centella Asiatica to help calm and soothe the redness. It is a thick gel that takes a few minutes to absorb and feels a little tacky at first but once absorbed it works to soothe your skin. It feels cool upon application which is a major plus in my books. It has a gentle fresh scent which dissipates immediately. This essence has help calm my acne down and helped soothe my skin. I would recommend it to anyone who is battling acne and redness.

If you have troubled skin this essence is wonderful! It repairs and controls sebum even in the most sensitive skin. It has Spirulina and Centella Asiática which is where the Vitamin K3 properties come from. It soothes and repairs while healing.
