I've struggled with acne and oily skin my whole life, and here I am in my 30s, still dealing with problematic skin. Breakouts are nowhere near as frequent or as severe as they used to be and my t-zone is no longer a constant grease pit, but my skin is far from perfect. Real Barrier Cicarelief Serum claims to target many of the same issues with one product that I've been trying to treat with MULTIPLE products, so being able to simplify and shorten my current routine huge! It also promises to soothe dry, irritated skin, smooth surface roughness and strengthen weakened skin barriers as well as moisturize, protect and brighten while helping to correct a dull complexion leading to brighter and more radiant skin! And I'm happy to say that Cicarelief Serum has lived up to its claims! It didn't completely transform my skin over night, but after a few weeks of consistent use I started to see some improvements. I've now been using this serum for a couple of months and I'm seeing really positive results - scars are fading much faster and a few have even disappeared completely, rough, dry patches are softening up and makeup (on the rare occasion I actually wear it) goes on smother. In addition, my skin tone appears more even and I definitely see more of a radiant glow. I can't say that I've finally achieved that gorgeous, glass-like complexion that I've always dreamed of, but it's definitely moving in the right direction. There's significantly less texture, my skin is smoother and my complexion is brighter and much more clear. The serum isn't overly harsh and doesn't dry out or irritate my skin; it's very light and feels weightless once dry, and actually seems to help clear up the now occasional breakout. Overall I've been really impressed with this product, which I received free of charge in exchange for my honest review, and will most likely purchase again when this bottle runs out. I highly recommend this serum for anyone struggling with difficult, problematic skin like mine!

I tried to do a minimal, soothing routine last night as I'm breaking out from eating too much fried stuff 🙄😂 Here's my veryyyy first impressions review of the @realbarrier Cica Relief Serum that I received from @0.8l_usa with the trial fee 😊 . 🌿 So anything with the word "cica" in it catches my attention because like many of you, I love centella asiatica and its derivatives to soothe my acne-prone skin! Although my skin is not too sensitive, it gets red sometimes so I love a good soothing serum. . 🌿 Besides helping soothe the skin with centella and vitamin B12, this serum is also meant as an anti-wrinkle and brightening product, with niacinamide (vit B3), calamine, sea buckthorn extract, etc. It also contains various essential oils like lavender oil and orange oils though, for those sensitive to it (!). . 🌿 I was actually only able to use it for 3 days before the review deadline (darn you Alaska), so can't tell much results just yet. With some products though, I can tell if my skin loves it by the 3rd day... unfortunately this serum hasn't done much for me so far. My breakouts or redness didn't seem to be minimized as I was hoping for. It does leave my skin nicely hydrated though! . 🌿 It smells slightly herbal and has a very lightweight consistency, which I like. The cap on the Real Barrier Cicarelief Serum is really nice and definitely my favorite part of this bottle. It pops up as you turn it and to use you just push on the button. With rubber droppers they can often become sticky, this one cannot. It's fantastic! As for the product itself, it feels very nice. I don't like the herbal smell at first but it quickly dissipates. It made my skin feel very soft and blended in very quickly. I will definitely use this every day!

I received Real Barrier Cicarelief Serum from #08liter for testing purposes. This serum helps with dull, dry skin and soothes, restores and hydrates. I didn’t notice any scent, and a little goes a long way - both things a plus in my book. This stuff immediately leaves skin feeling velvety soft and ready for the final step of your skin care regimen. I like to use it and really let it set for a few minutes before applying any lotion/moisturizer for the day. I’ve noticed an improvement in my skin tone, my pores and it has also seems to increase the effectiveness of the rest of my skin care routine.

🍦This serum looks like its a thick gel but it actually has a thin watery consistency. In the bottle, it looks pink, don't worry it's not it's completely clear. It has a dropper which is helpful. especially because a little goes a long way. Unfortunately, It did leave my face sticky I mean very very sticky, which I hate. However, after applying my moisturizer fixed that problem.🍦 🍰I would describe this serum is a calming sheet masks essence without the sheet mask. The first time I used this I had just used an exfoliator that was a little too strong for my sensitive skin. Cicarelief Serum is now, and forever will be, apart of my nightly routine, after cleansing and toning. Not only does this serum help with dull complexion but battles hyper pigmentation and dryness brought on by this cold weather. Great for sensitive skin! The design of the applicator is genius! When I unscrew the top the applicator pops up with serum already in the dropper and it is always the right amount, reducing the chance of waste. The serum is nice and thick so there is no mess. I just pat it into my skin all over my face followed by moisturizing. 10/10 will purchase again!

Cica my heart ❤ I am a bit of a Centella nut, so sue me 🙈 I can't not have at least one Centella/Cica/Madecassoside product in my routine. This one caught my eye- particularly because Real Barrier has a pretty good brand rep for making solid products! I've been testing this Cicarelief Serum out for a few weeks, so here are my thoughts! - The serum is a lightweight, watery gel. Good slip, zero stickiness!! It layers incredibly well with other products. Dewy finish, but not tacky. Very soothing and calming to the skin. Definitely has helped to reduce redness and irritation. Acne seems to heal quicker while I've been using this. One dropper full is plenty to cover my whole face. Final thoughts: where has this been all my life?! Such a good serum. When I saw that Real Barrier released some new products on 08.liter, I had to jump on the opportunity. Every product that I have tried from them has not disappointed me. This line is targeted towards people with sensitive skin or prone to redness. I wouldn't say I have sensitive skin but certain areas of my face are and prone to redness. This is the real deal when it comes to calming the redness on the skin. The top number 1 ingredient on the list is centella asiatica extract before water. The texture is gel like, applied very smoothly on the skin. It does leave a slight matte feeling by touch after it sets but not at all tacky or sticky. When I wake up, I kid you not my skin looks so calm and even, I thought i woke up photoshopped (lol) I'd definitely need to use it longer for the brightening effect. Niacinamide is pretty high on the list. This will definitely stay in my skincare routine during the winter months to help ease the redness from whiplash winds.

Having added this serum to my morning routine, I have noticed that by end of day, my skin is much more hydrated. With key ingredients such as their ceramide 3 complex for hydration,  and calamine to reduce redness, your skin feels wonderful after applying. It absorbs super fast, leaving no tackiness behind, and I don't really notice any scent.  I was very excited to try this in conjunction with their moisturizer and toner, and while we are having this cold snap, the routine has kept me incredibly moisturized. Loving this brand!!

I got the chance to try the Real Barrier Cicarelief Serum for free in exchange for my honest review. I can tell you from experience that this serum is something you have to keep in hand. It has made my skin so soft that it’s my go to when ever my skin feels irritated. This serum goes on so smoothly and it absorbs into the skin quickly and doesn’t leave any oily residue. The best part is that it doesn’t have a scent because usually scented products don’t usually agree with my skin. Claim - “A chica serum for intensive skincare that revives dull complexion caused by external aggressors.” This product contains calamine and pink vitamin. It states it’s supposed to soothe the skin as well as improve dark spots and wrinkles. I can honestly say that although I have only been using this product for about two weeks, it has really helped me with the redness on my cheeks. I haven’t seen any improvement in my dark spots but I’m still hopeful to see more improvements with time. The only thing I can say that needs improvement is the fact that this brand isn’t animal friendly. It’s not a complete deal breaker but it is the main reason I cannot give this brand 5 stars.
