Hello people! This is my review for Real Barrier Cicarelief Gel Balm. I love products that contain CICA since they're very good for the skin. I would like to thank @0.8L_Usa for sending me this product for review purposes. All my reviews are honest and unbiased. ._. Product Details This is an intensive soothing protective gel balm that provides moisture protection to calm irritated skin from external irritations. The gel balm is formulated with high concentrations of calamine, panthenol, and madecassoside. It also contains centella asiatica, ceramides, and sterols to strengthen and plump the skin. One thing I don't like about this gelbalm is the inclusion of orange and lavender oil. Thoughts ._. This is fairly comparable to the Soon Jung 5-panthenososide cica balm but the Soon Jung one is truly for the sensitive skin since it is essential oil free. It does a great job of calming down my redness, but I still feel uneasy using lavender oil on my face. The gel balm is quite smooth and non-greasy on my skin so I'm happy with that aspect. It does have a citrusy smell not it and I don't like scented products. I like mine to be neutral.

I like the consistency of that gel balm, as it is just right between gel and balm. It looks like balm and quickly changes into clear, gel with contact to the skin. It is thick and it covers neatly any affected area like an aid. You can use it on any part of your body. I do not need to say more right? I love Atopalm, I love that balm and I love everything about it. Still. I recently got @realbarrier Cicarelief Gel Balm from @0.8l_usa. This is a soothing, moisture rich, and hydrating cream gel that provides moisture protection. It quickly absorbs into irritated, dehydrated skin to provide a non-greasy, non- sticky, long lasting protective coating on the skin. One of the main ingredients in this gel cream is Calamine which is known for treating skin irritation. It is also great for treating acne, rosacea, chronic sensitivity, or skin exposed to irritants. This cream gel has 66% Centella Asiatica infused into it to help minimize irritation while soothing sensitive skin. This ingredient is rich in amino acids, beta carotene, fatty acids, and phytochemicals and is known to boost wound healing. That makes it great for treating acne and other skin irritations. The Cicarelief gel is also made with MLE Skin Barrier Repair to strengthen the skin barrier and protect it from environmental stresses. There is also a unique blend of Panthenol, Madecassoside, and Allantoin known as the Real Barrier three-calming complex which work together to protect and soothe sensitive and irritated skin. They also support skin recovery after minor dermatological procedures as well as after "monthly" breakouts. These ingredients also help relieve symptoms caused by exposure to irritating plants such as Poison Ivy and Poison Oak. They also help with sun burned skin. Another important set of ingredients are known as the Pink Calming Complex which is made up of Calamine, Vitamin Tree Fruit, and a Pink Vitamin. This combo helps fix a dull complexion. This is a very gentle and safe formula that can be used all over the face. It is made without the 20 ingredients known to be harmful to skin. Some of these include: Silicone, Parabens, Mineral oil, Artificial fragrances, Artificial dyes, Ethanol, Phenoxyethanol, Benzophenone, Propylene glycol, PEGs and Diethanolamine. It also has a low pH, similar to that of healthy skin, which helps keep skin balanced. With regular use it can also brighten skin. This can be used in the AM or PM after washing face with a cream cleansing foam. Pat dry, then gently apply cream to irritated areas of the face or body until completely absorbed. Apply a thick layer to areas that need extra attention, such as red, scaly, itchy spots. I like that this spreads across skin easily and doesn't cause irritation. It absorbed into my skin really well and didn't leave any sticky or greasy feeling. Something I really liked was that I was able to use this cream all over, not just on my face. This cream was useful after spending the day outside and getting a bit too much sun on my face. Using this made my skin feel hydrated and took the slight sting away. I found that my skin seemed to get back to normal faster than it normally does when I get too much sun. I'm looking forward to using this in the coming hot months. I live in Southwest Florida and the sun is extremely strong here. It's very easy to get a sunburn. Several months out of the year it's possible to get burned within a very short period of time. When I go out I make sure to wear sunscreen, but sometimes I still end up burnt. I think this may help relieve some of the pain, blistering, itchiness, and peeling that burns can cause. This is also something I'll try using to prevent and/or treat "monthly" breakouts. I don't get bad breakouts, but I have problem areas. For instance my chin and upper lip. Occasionally my cheeks will get a few small zits around that time as well. So, I'm definitely looking forward to seeing how this works in the coming months. I will likely purchase this again, especially since I live in an area with extreme sun. I'll update this as I see more results. So sorry for the double post today. I hope everyone is having the best Monday you can have... This Real Barrier Cicarelief Gel Balm is great for troubled skin and weakened skin barrier. You apply this to affected areas before or after your moisturizer. I like that just in case you forget 😁. This is formulated with high levels of Calamine, Panthenol, and Madecassoside to help sooth and moisturize. I have never used any skincare that has Calamine in. My skin has really been behaving and I have had no breakouts or irritation, but I have used it and love the way it absorbs and plays well with others! I am excited to keep this on hand as I am planning on using my prescription retinol. It will be nice to have incase my skin freaks out. I am a big fan of this gel balm. It goes on easy and doesn’t leave a greasy residue. I also have extremely sensitive skin and it didn’t cause any reaction. It absorbed so quickly and left my skin feeling soft! I have been using all week and I highly recommend!

Atopalm Cicarelief Gel Balm (coutresy of @0.8L_USA) I think my mission in life is to try every CICA cream out there... hahaha This one from Atopalm contains CICA (centella asiatica extract, madecassoside, asiaticoside, madecassic acid, asiatic acid) which are rich in amino acids, antioxidants, fatty acids and have anti-inflammatory & antimicrobial benefits, helping to repair damaged skin, encourage new skin cell growth, while reducing redness and swelling. CICA also helps strengthens and supports your skin barrier as well. It also has one of my favorite ingredients, calamine in it ~ calamine is a very soothing ingredient, and will help reduce swelling and itchiness. It is also an antiseptic, which will help prevent infections and will disinfect and it is an astringent as well. Calamine can cause brightening of the skin tone as it is basically zinc oxide, which helps fade blemishes, hyper-pigmentation and give an overall brightening effect on your face. In fact, many people use calamine lotion to help fade and prevent blemishes, control oil and also as a moisturizer. This also has panthenol, niacinamide, adenosine, arginine, ceramide & beta glucan for a nice hydrating, skin smoothing, brightening and moisturizing mix. Like all of the Real Barrier line, this also has some EO's in it ~ orange and lavender, so it has a lovely light herbal-citrus scent. . . This gel balm has a lovely lightweight balm texture that is great for oily skin ~ it is not heavy, despite a waxy looking texture ~ and a surprise ~ this has just a tinge of pink to its color, due to the calamine. It absorbs quickly into my skin and there is no greasy or sticky residue ~ my skin feels very smooth, with any roughness and dry areas just feeling silky soft and supple. This has a soft finish on my skin, meaning that it isn't dewy nor mattifying ~ and it is fantastic to spread over my blemishes as it provides soothing, protective care and reduces irritation. It provides enough moisture for my skin, increasing it by 37% and reduces my oils by 41%. Atopalm mentioned that this had a low pH level similar to healthy skin, so I decided to test it myself ~ and it is a 5.5, so it will help keep your skin balanced. I like mixing some of my blemish control/healing oils and serums in this gel balm and then spreading it thickly over my face as a sleep pack. Real Barrier's CIcarelief Gel Balm is a try for a honest opinion. I like Real Barrier's products and especially using them. The balm does have a scent to it but isn't strong smelling. This balm melts into your skin and it does help with dry, chapped skin. I would definitely continuing using it especially in the winter!

I used CicaRelief Cream; which is just as good. I do prefer the CicaRelief Gel Balm, the gel formulation absorbs quickly for faster relief. Mark my words, this gel balm from real barrier is going to be a lifesaver after eyebrow waxing. I’ve actually been using this on my tattoos that are healing. The gel has a slight herbal smell and absorbs well into skin. It’s lightweight and also would be perfect for summer flushing of the skin. The balm is intended to calm down redness and irritation. It’s definitely very soothing and doesn’t leave a tacky finish. I have a feeling I’m going to go through this little tube very quickly. I picked up the Real Barrier Cicarelief Gel Balm from @08liter. The unassuming packaging connotes straight-forward skincare, which is backed-up by the ingredients on the side - listed in both korean and english. The first thing I noticed about that list, aside from its availability, is that the first ingredient is centella asiatica extract and not water or silicone. The scent is mild, with a slight hint of product and something vaguely herbal, maybe even medicinal. There is no added fragrance listed, but there are a couple of essential oils toward the bottom of the list that I suspect are only present to assist the fragrance. The texture of this stuff is actually pretty dreamy, it is definitely more of a gel moisturizer but it is thicker and creamier than most. It is very hydrating, but has a very slight tackiness that sits on the skin for a bit. Overall I think this is a knock-out product sold at a very reasonable price, which makes it a 10/10 in my book. Unfortunately for me I did experience a bit of a reaction when I used it every day. I've suspected for awhile that my skin is sensitive to centella asiatica, and this might be the final nail in that coffin for me. It seems whenever I use products containing centella asiatica regularly I react with a tiny blister like rash, much like I sometimes get from lanolin. So enjoyed getting a chance to try this product at a discounted price in exchange for an honest review. I have been learning AI much about skin care in the last year ann's have realized I have an issue with a compromised skin Barrier. Since learning this, I have completely changed what kind of products I use, and have looked especially for healing products to help in repairing my skin Barrier. So glad this product came along! it's very concentrated and a little goes a long way. I was using it on the most red parts of my face where I have rosacea. It's highly moisturizing, and very gentle. I felt like my skin was calmer and less red every time I used it. Definitely one to look at if you're having issues with sensitivity and skin Barrier damage.

Recommended use is to gently apply to irritated areas of the face or body before or after application of the cream. After using, this cream is very easy to use and very soothing. There is a very noticeable fragrance, it’s very natural and herbal smelling so I do believe it’s suitable for sensitive skin. The ingredients are ideal for a spot treatment/balm and I tested it before applying cream and after applying cream and I found it be more effective with application beforehand. It really soothes any irritation and redness. It also heals wounds and removes any itching from things like hives or pimples. I would recommend this to people with skin that’s easily irritated and itchy. What I like: this product is very easy to use. It’s soothing and hydrating. If you have any itching in your skin it actually works to eliminate that. It’s ideal for sensitive skin and works to heal skin and stop skin irritation. The product is very natural and herbal in nature. What I don’t like: this product has a pretty strong medicinal/herbal scent and is actually kind of hard to find. Rating: 9.5/10
