Kylie Cosmetics Halloween Collection Glitter Eyes Shadow Review . . Well this came so late! I'm not sure what to say I didn't even really have time to sit down and play with a shadow look featuring this creme metallic before the review was due - eep! I will say the title of this product is incredibly misleading. I won a single creme metallic eyeshadow in the color Witch & Famous. This is my 1st KC product to date as I don't own any of her other products. Incidentally I actually thought what I had applied for was a lipstick so I was bit shocked when I saw this was an eyeshadow instead. The great news is though makeup can be used however you want often times and so I do plan on wearing this as lipstick as well. . . . In any case until I can get a shadow look pulled together I will leave you with the preliminary evaluation that this product is incredibly smooth, opaque, and shiny. Surprisingly it does dry down even more metallic than it comes out of the tube. I swatched this product without any kind of eyeshadow base and I saw it peel off and fluff away in a matter of minutes just doing regular stuff around the house so this will definitely need an eyeshadow base to be worn for a longer duration of time. Another thing I will note about this shadow is that if you have any kind of crepey skin this product will not be your friend - it will show off every wrinkle & flaw due to the metallic nature of the product so bear that in mind. I do not have crepey skin but my friend who does swiped this on her eye and it wasn't very flattering. . . . Overall I will say I'm pretty impressed by both the pigmentation & coverage this shadow supplies with a single swipe! I'm looking forward to wearing it all day which as a women of color I can get away with no matter what season it is. My favorite shade of blush is orange & it suits me incredibly well! This product can not only be used singly but it can be used as a topper, lippie, & eyeliner so you really get a lot of bang for your buck! Despite this being marketed as a Halloween Collection its entirety is available on the Kylie Cosmetics website for purchase. Glitter Eyes retails for $20 USD + shipping. . . . The hydrating matte lipstick glides onto the lips for a comfortable matte finish. Wear alone or pair with your favorite gloss for a high shine finish. My Thoughts: 👄The deep berry purple is a beautiful color that looks pretty no matter what your age. I have started to wear darker colors of lipstick, at the suggestion of my daughter, a few years ago. I had always thought that as you got older you should wear softer colors, but I decided to take her advice and found more color on my lips just made me look fresher and I was pleased with the look. Not everyone approved, but I had not asked for approval either, so ignored that comment. When you get older I figure I don’t need everyone’s approval as long as I approve. In fact, let’s just say none of us need the approval of others as long as what we do makes us happy and is decent. 😀😀😀😀 🕷The Kylie Cosmetics lipstick is very creamy and super pigmented. It glides on very easily. My one warning is that if you tend to rub your lips together, you will need to check your mirror frequently because this lipstick will spread if you do that. 👄I took photos of my daughter wearing the lipstick because we are sharing. I’m hoping to find a lip liner that comes close to matching because I really do need a lip liner with my lipstick because age leads to lip shrinkage (sorry to bear that bad news!). 🕷The price of Kylie Cosmetics lipstick is really not that high. Many lipsticks are higher than $17.00. The lip liners are around $12.00 and I’m trying to decide which would be closest to this color. I’m thinking of getting another lipstick too and a liner. Shipping for one $12.00 lip liner is $8.95, but shipping over $35.00 is free to the US and with a little higher total is free abroad. Ulta now carries Kylie Cosmetics so I will probably go there. The quality and packaging are excellent and the product is packaged for shipping extremely well. The lipstick box was in a much bigger box with foam all around. It’s the first time I tried highlighter in loose power form so it takes a bit more caution to not make a mess but the pigments I mean...
