@bywishtrend Acid - Duo Mild Gel Cleanser This is a gentle cleanser containing LHA and PHA that is designed to remove dead skin cells and impurities. Other than this, it contains willow bark, rosemary, lavender, thyme, peppermint and calendula. According to the brand it has a pH of 5.5. It has a thicker, jelly-like formula with a slight pink coloring and very mild scent. It lathers nicely and even though this is an exfoliating cleanser it doesn't strip my skin but removes excess oil and leftover makeup after using an oil cleanser. It leaves skin fresh and clean without over drying. Overall, I like it as a second cleanser (I do not use heavy makeup) or as a morning cleanser. It works well on my combo skin - my skin is refreshed, clean, soft and hydrated after use.

It contains Capryloyl Salicylic Acid (LHA) and Gluconolactone (PHA), in quantities of 1% each (hence the name Acid-Duo 2%). This cleanser is also said to have anti-bacterial properties to help combat acne, and also helps with skin hydration. All those great benefits made me decide to give it a try. . This gel cleanser comes in a pink pump bottle, is colorless and doesn’t seem to have a strong detectable scent. The consistency of the product is, however, very thick (swipe to see a short video) and I don’t think the pump bottle is an effective way to dispense it. It took me a lot of pumps before I could get a teensy amount of product out during the first use. Even until now, I find myself manually lifting the pump to get more product to pump out. I think it would be better if it was packaged in a tube. . Even if it is said to be mild, I decided to use this just 3x a week since introducing it to my routine. Despite that, I could see that it has been performing well. When I use this, I dispense a pump on a foaming cloth to get it to bubble/foam and then thats when I apply it on my face. I can attest to its gentleness because there is no stinging, whatsoever. It also doesn’t strip the skin with moisture after rinsing, something I appreciate as a person with dry skin. One thing I don’t like is that, probably because of its thickness, it seem to leave a residue on my hands where I dispense it. I notice faint foam forming on my left hand when I apply my toner on my face, something I haven’t experienced before when doing my routine. Washing my hands again after washing my face seem to solve this problem. . I can say that, perhaps together with By Wishtrend’s Polyphenol in Propolis 15% ampoule, it has been helping my skin’s recovery with acne as my breakouts have been occurring less and less since introducing these two to my routine. It is a decent product, however, I am quite hesitant on repurchasing because its quite cumbersome to use. . New Cleanser Alert! I really wanted to try the Wishtrend Acid-duo 2 Mild Gel Cleanser since I've had success with other Wishtrend products, plus this had the added bonus of both BHA and PHA ingredients. As others have noted, the pump on the bottle is a little slow, but otherwise I quite like this cleanser. The gel foams up nicely and because of the 5.5 pH, it's very gentle on the skin and doesn't dry it out. It's definitely a second cleanser though, and won't work as a first cleanser. I'm not sure how much this will have an effect on acne, since the acids are at a slightly lower percentage, but it didn't irritate any existing pimples that I had. Overall a decent cleanser that gets the job done!

The appearance of the cleaner is clear and gel consistency. I tried using it on liquid foundation, lipstick and a strong lip tint. Everything except the lip tint got removed. Which means it does a pretty good job removing makeup since this liptint doesn't remove with just cleanser easily. I didn't notice any scent and works okay with dry cracked skin and doesn't sting for me. I give this cleanser a 9.5/ 10. I received this at a discount price from 0.8l and Bywishtrend.

The ByWishtrend Acid-duo 2% is a mild gel cleanser that comes in a pink 5.07oz pump bottle. The packaging is adorable. The pump does it's job but is not the best one. The cleanser itself has a faint smell (Which I cannot describe), doesn't lather much and is fairly easy to wash off; I had to use lots of water to rinse it off. After cleansing, leaves skin feeling smooth and clean without overdrying. And most importantly, did not break me out! °°Remember. Overall really happy with this product! It was very gentle and didn’t bother my skin. I didn’t notice any exfoliating properties but I liked it as a cleanser. I also appreciate that it doesn’t have any Parabens, sulfates, or Phthalates. I would repurchase

Today is cutting it VERY short for me to review @wishtrend Acid Duo 2% Mild Gel Cleanser for @0.8l_usa . 👍 For the longest time I was afraid to use any products that contained acids or any ingredients I thought would burn or irritate my skin . 👍 But the #skincare community is full of knowledgeable people who are skincare professionals and rave about using acids to help with uneven skin tone, hyperpigmentation, and smoothing the skin's texture. So slowly and deliberately I have started incorporating acids into my skincare routines . 👍 When I saw this Acid Cleanser on @0.8l_usa I decided to purchase it for a nominal fee for my honest review. Why not? Everything I have ever tried by @wishtrend has been nice and a welcome addition to my arsenal of skincare goodies . 👍 This Acid Cleanser is the 💣 Although I have used it about 10-12 times, it is very gentle on the skin, non-drying, and the ph is fairly low. This cleanser is a light exfoliator. At least it is for me. Because of that, I have to be mindful to avoid any other exfoliating products or treatments . 👍The texture is a smooth gel texture, odorless and colorless. Acid-Duo 2% Mild Gel Cleanser by Wishtrend is a low pH cleanser (5.5 which is gentle to the skin) that contains Capryloyl Salicylic acid LHA and Gluconlactone (PHA) to help remove dead skin cells and impurities on the skin. It helps with acne, blemishes, and is free of sulfates, essential oils, fragrances and color. It also includes a chock full of plant extracts like Willow bark, lavender, thyme, jasmine, etc. You only need a small pea size and foam it up with some water and proceed to clean after your oil cleanser. This foaming cleanser did not dry out my skin and did not cause any breakouts or reactions but YMMV.

As far as cleansers go, I've tried my fair share and they're all pretty great and do what they're meant to do. I have combination skin that leans towards dry in the winter and oily in summer especially in my tzone. I've been using this cleanser for a few weeks now and I really like it. It contains LHA and PHA which are gentle acids that help exfoliate dead skin cells and has a pH of 5.5 which is great because it doesn't dry your skin out or leave it unbalanced afterwards. It hasn't dried my skin out and doesn't leave it feeling tight after. I like how it foams up slighly and removes most of my makeup. Once again, the ingredients are amazing and at the top of the list. I really feel like if you have acneic skin or are just looking for a new gentle cleanser you should check this out. It doesn't have a scent and is $19 for 5.07 oz.

With the pH level of 5.5, it helps restore the skin’s pH balance and is gentle to the skin.✨LHA has a very similar pH level to the one on the skin (5.5). Alike with BHA it penetrates into the skin gradually to gently exfoliate and pull waste to the surface, but it does not penetrate as deep as BHA or Glycolic acid, making it a great solution for congested skin while being more gentle and less irritating.✨PHA is also a kind of AHA, with multiple (poly) Hydroxy Acid compounds. Due to the multiple hydroxyl groups and due to having larger particles than AHA, it is a more hydrating and less irritating ingredient that provides similar effects to its brother AHA. Helping not only with skin peeling but also with skin hydration.✨I seriously am impressed with this cleanser. It exfoliates my skin while cleansing. Hopefully this can be fixed in the future because it's very annoying, lol. The gel did come in at a pH 6 when I did my strip testing. I use it with my Clairsonic and it leaves my skin feeling clean. I only use it during the evening and dialed it down to a few times a week because it did cause the area around my mouth to dry out. I used this cleanser while I was having breakouts due to hormonal changes and it did help in reducing the healing time. I think this cleanser will work best for me during the summer because my skin is running dry at the moment due up the weather. I do recommend this for people with oily skin or live in warmer climates. If you have dry skin I recommend only using it a few times a week. Might repurchase if the pump gets fixed 😂. My skin was not stripped and dry after use and works great for my 22 yr old daughters skin as well. We keep it in the shower now as it is easier to use from there with the pump. Wishtrend Acid Duo 2% mild cleanser 🍡Claims: Mild cleanser that helps exfoliatd without strilping the skin of moisture with the hekp of 1% of LHA & PHA. 🍡Key ingredients: LHA(Capryloyl Salicylic Acid) and PHA(Gluconolactone). 🍡Texture and scent: is a gel cleanser, a bit heavy but little bit goes a long way. As for the scent I detect more of a chemical/generic one. 🍡Results: one big problem was that the pump didn't work until the 5th time I used the cleanser. Managed to make it work and finally I could get it out super fast. Cleanser felt amazing, no dry skin, but after 2 weeks of use I notice my face was red. Now, I am pregnant so my akin reacts ro certain things. I tried using it once a day, but I had to stop because my skin got super red and sensitive. I suspect is the acids on it, so I will use it once or twice a week. Overall is a great cleanser and I would consider buying it.

This By Wishtrend 2% Acid-duo gel cleanse has been working really great to help with the purging that I have been experiencing. It has 1% LHA (capryloyl salicylic acid)and 1% PHA (gluconolactone)and a PH of 5.5 making this a gentle exfoliate. The wishtrend website recommends using this 2 to 3 times a week and I find this to work out great on the days that I am not using my actives. I use my Huangjisoo cleansing oil when using this cleanser first to remove makeup. I love the gentle approach of this to help me with my retinol journey. What are some things you use when your skin is purging from using actives?

I DID purchase this over Black Friday & then I also received this thru 08Liter ~ because I wanted to see if the pump on this product was defective or not. Let's get that out of the way first before I gush over this product. This product comes in a beautiful pink plastic bottle with what looks to be a sturdy pump. That doesn't work. The cleanser I purchased ~ the pump would go down and not come back up, so I had to pull it back up. So, I received the 2nd bottle of this cleanser thru 08Liter ~ the pump does go back up, but slowly to the point of where I pull it back up. The gel cleanser is difficult to get out of the bottle. By Wishtrend needs to fix this pump ASAP, as the product itself is fantastic. This mild cleanser contains two exfoliating ingredients ~ PHA gluconolactone, which acts similar to an AHA, but is more gentle and less irritating and capryloyl salicylic acid, which is a LHA. I am seeing this ingredient more in products (I just purchased a cleansing oil by Shu Uemura that contains this LHA). Salicylic acid is derived from willow tree bard and capryloyl salicylic acid is the a derivative of salicylic acid, so it has all of the anti-bacterial, anti-inflammatory and deep pore cleansing & exfoliating properties as a BHA, but it can be used in lower percentages than salicylic acid. This also has some hydrating ingredients with panthenol, beta glucan along with herbal ingredients that are designed to heal, soothe, and provide antiseptic & astringent benefits: rosemary, willow bark, lavender, thyme, peppermint, chamomile & calendula. Free from sulfates, essential oils, fragrances, colorants. Texture & Color: Thick, slightly pink gel. Scent: A little bitter but not bad or anything. pH Level: 5.5 . . Outside of the pump, this mild gel cleanser is one of my favorites! It really cleanses well, without stripping my skin dry and my oily skin feels very refreshed and clean after using this. The addition of a BHA means that excess oil and dirt is removed, so that my pores do not get clogged as much, while PHA will help gently exfoliate the outer layers of my skin. This is so gentle that I use it daily, as it does not sting or irritate my skin. I thought initially, as it is a thick gel, that I would have issues with it foaming, but I do not. The trick is to make sure your face is wet, then pump or pour the cleanser into a wet hand, briskly rub your hands to together to make a gentle foam and then apply on your face. The foam is soft and fine, it isn't a dense thick foam, as gel cleansers really aren't designed to do that. I am glad I have another bottle of this, but seriously By Wishtrend, fix the pump. It really is bad. Outside of that pump issue, two thumbs up for this cleanser! Very gentle exfoliant. Acid-duo 2 Mild Gel Cleanser by Wishtrend is ideal for every day use. A small amount of the Gel goes long way. I have used it for a little over two weeks and I already notice my blemishes and dark spots brightening. It is also antibacterial another feature I find appealing. I’d never heard of this beauty brand before so I was a little skeptical trying out this cleanser. Thankfully, I was pleasant surprised. It is unscented to the point of being almost clinically unscented. I’m referring to the kind of aseptic smell from a doctor’s office or from prescription skincare ointments. It didn’t take very much at all to clean my face. The bottle is pretty large so this makes it a great value for the money. This cleanser did not make a whole lots of bubbles or rich foam like many others do, and it was very mild. My skin felt clean but not stripped of moisture after using this, and there was no irritation whatsoever. Overall, this is a very nice cleanser. I think it would be perfect for those with really sensitive skin, extremely dry skin, and for skin with a lot of inflammation and lesions. Although I received this product for free my opinion was not influenced by this fact.

In fact it’s so thick it caused a slight issue that I’m going to complain about first. I couldn’t get it to pump. So I opened it and just wiped the stick off and washed my face with that and put it back on. I tried pumping it again, and it was just so thick and like trying to drink a thick milkshake through a straw. Well this lead up a disaster!!! I brought it back to my room and laid it on my bed while I toweled off and I heard a thump sound and saw that the bottle top had exploded from the pressure and spewed HALF the product onto my bedspread!!! Half of it gone just like that!!!! So I only have half the bottle and I used it once so I’m pretty ticked off!!!!!
