Having strong hair strands is important to having healthy hair. With me having naturally curly hair, I need all the strength to my hair strands that I can get! Washing and conditioning is just not enough to achieve this benefit but a good hair mask can help! I had the opportunity to try out @Somèrfieldbeauty 30 Day Restore Hair Mask through the Try Now campaign courtesy of @08l_usa. @Somèrfieldbeauty 30 Day Restore Hair Mask that helps to repair dry damaged hair by moisturizing, repairing, and strengthening it. This hair mask contains 3x pre-filled hair mask caps and 3x Protein Boosters. The ingredients in this hair mask are Hydrolyzed Silk (protein), Avocado oil, Jojoba Seed oil, Honey Extract, and Royal Jelly Extract. These ingredients are organic and cruelty free! All hair needs protein to help keep its strength so if your hair is protein sensitive, use this mask once a month. Although this product states that it is a 30 Day Restore, you use each of the hair masks and protein boosters once a week until your hair achieves maximum strength. To use this product, you wash your hair, then you apply one tube of the 3x Protein Booster, and then you apply the 3x pre-filled mask cap and massage all over your hair to help “boost” the protein booster. I like to use my hair masks right after washing my hair then I rinse my hair mask out and then I use a conditioner to further add more moisture back to my hair. But it is perfectly fine to use the mask after you use your conditioner for those who use a conditioner after washing their hair. After using this hair mask, my hair does feel strengthened. This hair mask does have a pleasant smell and not a strong scent. It is easy to apply to my hair and the mask has a tie at the bottom so that it stays in place. The hair mask made my hair feel soft and easy to comb because I have thick coily strands that are not very easy to detangle. The only downside that I have with this hair mask is that it contains a silicone (Dimethecone) that is not very easy to just wash out of my hair like water soluble silicones do so I have to clarify my hair to remove it. Silicones tend to make my curly hair dry and not so easy to keep moisturized but my hair is strengthened. Can’t attest to my hair looking silky but it is soft.

After shampooing and removing excess water I applied the Protein Booster to my damp hair. Next I placed the Hair Mask Cap over my hair and fastened the cap using a sticker on the cap. I then used a hair dryer to increase the temperature inside the Cap and leaving the Cap in place for 15 minutes. This was a supercharged Hair Mask that revitalized my dry damaged hair! My hair felt stronger, was shinier, had less frizz, and had more volume than usual! These effects lasted all week even after multiple showers. I've tried different hair mask (in a shower cap form) from 2-3 different brands, and I'd say I really really like Somerfield's formula. I could see an instant result of my hair being soft and hydrated when I was washing the mask off in the shower. However, I have to say that I really don't like the design of the hair cap as it's way too big for my head. The cap makes my experience using this product to be less desirable. Moving on to the protein booster, I found the texture to be quite thick, and I was happy that it wasn't hard for my hair to absorb the product. Comparing this product to other hair maks I typically buy from Sephora, Somerfield's formula is a real winner. But would I be willing to drop $90 to buy this item again? I'd probably say NO. If they're selling this mask in a container (not the shower cap form) that could be used multiple times, I'll consider paying for it. Overall I enjoy using the product! I’m really happy with its performance and result it delivers to my hair. Still, I don't think I'd repurchase as the future unless they release the product in different packagings (tube/container) that I could use for more than just a single time.

I have only used this product mask twice but I absolutely love it. I’ve tried so many different treatments,hair masks, everything. Usually my damage hair just looks worse after anything. I admit the first time I used this mask I just put it in my dry hair and hung out with it on all day, probably 6 hours, but the result was amazing!!! My hair frizzes and looks bad if the air is dry, no matter what I do. I can go to the salon and get a 20 dollar treatment and it doesn’t look this good. I LOVE it, and assuming it continues to work, I will be getting some more of this amazing hair mask. I totally recommended to all types of hair you will love it! I don't ever do this and I am embarrassed that I have to. My chronic auto-immune disease interstitial cystitis has keot me pretty much bed ridden for the past month. It hadn't been fun. I was planning on getting my hair bleached because I look like a skunk right now. My hairdresser was so excited when I told him I received this so that tells me something right there. He begged me to bring it in when he bleaches my hair and he would apply it after to see if it helps repair some if the damage the bleach causes. He said he has heard of this and heard great things about it but hadn't ever had the chance to "play" with it yet. I will be getting my hair dine within the next 2 weeks and I will do before and after pics. I'll even do before and after my hair us colored pics. Then when I do the second treatment at home I will post an update as well. I feel so bad but I promise I will go above and beyond with my review. So please stay tuned.

I have short hair and I'm a guy so I don't usually use these kind of products and don't dye my hair. I gave this to a family relative who has bleached damaged hair and here's what she has to say: It’s been 3 weeks since I used the product. My hair feels so much better. It is less brittle from when I first used the product. It was easy to apply the cream and it made my hair softer and strengthen my hair. It’s a pretty good product. Also mention I left it on a little longer than it said on directions I’ve only used 1 so far and my hair still feels stronger. My friend even thought I dyed my hair because my hair seemed more shine than before The only ire about this product is that the cap was a little difficult since I have really long and thick hair

During my recent visit for a haircut, my stylist suggested coming in more often (I usually go every 3-4 months rather than every other month) since my ends tend to get dry. Thankfully I had already received this product prior to that. The protein booster is applied to damp hair prior to using the hair mask cap. Both products combined aid to help restore and moisturize dry/damaged hair and also reduce frizz. I'm not one to use conditioner often since I use a leave-in daily to style. This had a light scent and my hair felt smooth and manageable after just one use. As for the price, it's a bit steep for my taste ($75 USD). I'll enjoy the 2 remaining treatments, but will not consider purchasing it.

This year I started having some hair concerns because, well stress and hormones can cause a lot of changes in our bodies and hair changes is one of them. I received the Somèrfield 30 Day Restore Hair Mask System from #08liter for testing purposes. This product was used for 3 weeks, one treatment per week. 💆🏻‍♀️🧖🏻‍♀️ How it works: First step - shampoo and rinse, second step - massage protein booster into hair, third step - open and put on Hair Mask Cap (there is a bunch of treatment cream on the inside of the cap), then - wait 15 min and rinse. 💆🏻‍♀️🧖🏻‍♀️ Results: I could feel a difference after the first application, but after 3 treatments I can honestly say it feels like the damage has been reversed. My hair is really long right now, and since I haven’t had a trim in a while, the ends seemed dry and lifeless. After using this product, my hair seems to have more shine and less frizz, and feels more silky.

These are so good! They’re meant to repair hair after heat damage and color. You put the protein on clean hair, then use the mask which comes ready to just stick on your head. I’ve only used 1 so far since they’re meant to be used 7-10 days apart but my hair felt so soft and even thicker after. My only complaint was it felt greasier than usual the next day but I put it up in a messy bun and moved on. I would definitely recommend!

I recently bleached my hair..going from red to a blonde to peachy ombré look. My hair was obviously damaged from the bleach, so this product came right on time. I was honestly praying for a miracle, and while it did help a little bit that was it just a little bit. Probably my own fault for having too much hope lol but it did help soften my hair. It was easier to brush and it smells amazing. It’s just not a go to for hair “repair”.
