I love the Botanicsens Ionone Body Oil that I tried, and so excited to try the body cream. I got the chance to try this Botanicsens Ionone Body Cream at a trial fee for review purpose, thanks to @botanicsens_official and @08l_usa. The body cream’s described as an anti-aging cream that’s firming, deeply moisturizing & fast absorbing. It’s also Paraben & GMO free. Like the body oil, it also has ionone aroma compound that’s found in plants such as violets & raspberries and revitalizes skin. Unlike the body oil, the cream’s packaging’s just a simple squeeze tube with gray flip top cap (Though it still looks as beautiful). The Ionone fragrance’s even stronger than the body oil, but since I have no issue with fragrance & it actually smells quite nice (woody & floral), I’m totally fine with it. (Not recommended if you can’t handle strong fragranced products). The cream is a little thick & heavy, but considering the long lasting moisturization it provides (I don’t even need to re-apply for the whole day!), compared to other creams in the same class, I would say that it’s lighter than most others, absorbs well, and leaving no residue & not sticky. Unless you don’t like the woody-floral strong fragrance, I think this is a great body cream to stash. Do you want the good news or the bad news first? 🧐 Okay fine, the good news? I added a few new plants to my familia recently 🌿🎋🥰 The bad news? This body lotion from 0.8L sucks lol. - I was running low on body cream so I took a chance and picked up the Ionone (whatever that means 😂) Body Cream from Botanicsens. The bottom line? I can’t even stand to apply it since it smells so bad, haha. Just like... the most artificial, xylitol-esque, odd-smelling scent I’ve ever smelled 🤢 I don’t even know what it smells like tbh but 🙅🏻‍♀️ - Anyway, oh well. Ya win some ya lose some. I've received 3 items from this brand and overall I've enjoyed the brand but haven't loved it. This product like the other 2 have been pretty fragrant, so if you have a preference or sensitivity I'd avoid this product. Granted they do put on the bottle "scent to boost your skin" so they at least kind of warn you. I enjoy the scent of this lotion and it sticks around for a bit but it isn't like a perfume. If this was a smaller bottle I'd put it in my fanny pack but alas it stays at home looking pretty on my counter. I'll finish this bottle but I probably won't repurchase since I do like other "smelly" lotions more.

My first impression of the @botanicsens_korea Ionone Body Cream was the scent-- and unfortunately it was not a good first impression. First of all, this cream was created to be anti-aging, anti-wrinkle, with ionone particles designed to penetrate deep in your skin and encourage collagen production. The brand describes the scent as “refreshing” because of the ionone, which is a compound found in violets, raspberries, carrots, almonds, and more-- yet I didn’t find this scent refreshing at all. It was too strong and to me at least, reminded me of medication. It was nothing like the body oil from the same brand. I only used this cream twice since the scent bothered me a lot, and I don’t care to continue using it because I truly didn’t see any groundbreaking effects on my skin. It made my skin feel kind of sticky from residue, which is a pet peeve of mine. I wish I could say that this cream did something magical for me, but unfortunately I don’t see myself returning to use this cream again in the future. This body cream claims to moisturize, prevent wrinkles and help firm your skin. The first time I applied it I fell in love. The word that comes to mind is velvety. This body cream felt like it was melting right into my skin. It's not to thin or to thick. It has a floral fragrance to it. If you absolutely hate any kind of floral scents or you are sensitive to certain fragrances I would not recommend that you purchase this. My grandmother is very sensitive to fragrances. The slightest bit of a floral, chemical or strong perfume smell and she gets a headache and sometimes dizzy. Its to bad because this would have made a great gift for her. I know she would have loved the luxurious moisturizing feel of this cream. Fortunately for me, I do not have a sensitivity to any fragrances. The first time I used it I applied it over my entire body. I decided that from now on I would only apply it on my upper chest and lower thigh areas, you know the places that I want help firming up and or prevent wrinkles. It feels luxurious and expensive. It retails for $34.00 and is 150ml. This is why I do not apply it to my entire body. I think this would make a lovely gift. This goes in my products that pamper pile. Which means when I have the money and I'm in the mood to treat myself I will repurchase. It's not a have to have product, thank goodness because the size isn't that big and the price isn't that low. This body cream was really nice. It was non-greasy and left my skin soft and scented for hours. When it was first applied it had a strong, herbal scent. The smell wasn’t overpowering, but I really didn’t care for it. Then, after about a half hour I noticed that the smell was changing and had become much more pleasant. It now smelled like very faintly scented flowers and I detected hints of roses. Hours after application, my skin still had a soft, powdery feel to it. This cream didn’t seem to add as much moisture to my skin as some other creams do, but it did seem to form a barrier to keep what moisture I had in my skin in place. Overall, I had a very positive experience with this body cream and would recommend it to others.

The best feature of the cream is that it can relieve itchy skin and gently absorbs in the skin to make it glowy and shiny. Ingredients included in the body cream: Macademia seed oil, cocos nucifera, argan tree kernel oil, sunflower seed oil, apple seed oil, jojoba seed oil, evening primrose oil, and sweet almond oil. The scent of the body cream is crated by Perfumelifer's Sungmin Lee. The top notes include: lemon, bergamont, and orange. The middle note:orchid, freesia, and lily. The bottom note: musk, sandalwood, cedar wood. My thoughts of this body cream is the functioning is great and helps my legs from being too dry and keep my skin moisturize and firm. I like that it makes my skin glowy and helps with my ezcema from flaring up. The scent is not my favorite only because it kind of reminds me of licorice. I dislike the scent probably because of the bottom notes of musk, sandalwood, and cedar wood. Other than disliking the scent, I love the cream and hope they might have other scents that don't have the bottom notes. I give this a 8/10.

This is a multifunctional cream with skin firming, anti aging, moisturizing, anti wrinkle and body lifting effects.🌲This cream is excellent paired up with the oil. I just love the woodsy smell. I was given the chance to test out this body cream via Botanicsens and .08 liter. I had tried the body oil and loved it, so I was excited to see that it came in a body cream as well. when I received it in the mail, I opened it and it has the same lovely floral smell as the oil. I put some on my hand and it spreads to much easier than the oil. it literally covers you in this amazing scent. it's not too overbearing or "old lady", but reminds me of summer. it makes my hands so soft and supple. I use it on my arms and elbows regularly and it feels great! not sure if it's helping with the anti-aging aspect, or if it's just moisturizing like we should, but either way, I love it and will be purchasing again!!!

I got the opportunity to test out this Botanicsens Ionone Body Cream. This cream retails for nearly $40 and boasts that it is from the Yonseu University, who created the technology of embedding the fragrance and allowing their patented iodine-containing oil to penetrate deeply into the skin resulting in fresh, and moist skin. Apparently, the key ingredient in this cream is a fragrance ingredient called Ionon. This ingredient contains violets, raspberries, carrots, almonds and gives a floral fragrance. Do I like it? Eh, not so much. It smells very earthy and lasts a LONG TIME, so I guess that fragrance technology works. As a funny story, I often times will pick my husband up at the train station, and more than once I had showered before and when he got in the car, he would always ask what that smell is!! I didn’t know that he was talking about the cream until one day he saw me putting it on and recognized the scent. For the longest time, he would say that I smelled like a tree or something. Yikes. I do kind of agree though, it’s a bit too earthy for me. This cream is also HUGE, like 150 ml so it will last a long time and it really does help moisturize your skin. I got to try this out for a trial fee from 0.8L.

The Ionone Body Cream is designed with a “scent to boost your skin” and it helps to awake collagen in the skin. This body cream contains 150 ml (5.07 oz) and has a very strong, fragrance. The top notes are lemon, bergamot, and orange. The middle notes are orchid, freesia, and lilies. The bottom notes are musk, sandalwood and cedar wood. The bottom notes are particularly strong. The packaging is a basic squeeze tube. The cream is in between thick and thin and white in color. It blends out well, with no white streaks. After massaging it in, it really hydrates, moisturizes and the fragrance is very noticeable. Recommended use is to apply as much as your skin needs after a shower. After using, the first thing to note, this product has a strong fragrance, you will want to avoid this totally if you can’t handle fragrance for any reason. The fragrance also lingers for quite a while and I found it similar to the way dove shampoo smells. The body cream itself is very moisturizing and is pretty great for dry skin. Might not be the best on especially sensitive skin. The moisture also lasts over 24 hours and my skin feels softer and smoother after every use. The ingredients are lovely and the fragrance notes are also scents I really like, like lemon and bergamot and sandalwood. I think this is good for people who like to wear scented body cream instead of perfume or cologne or body spray. I’d recommend this to anyone looking specifically for something scented and the fact that it’s very moisturizing is an added bonus. What I like: this cream is very hydrating and moisturizing and the ingredients are very nourishing. My skin feels better and better after each day of use and I imagine this works best if you continue to use it daily. The fragrance is pretty nice actually and I like the scents overall. What I don’t like: this is really not good for people with issues with fragrance. Rating: 8.5/10

This lotion claims the following: 🦋 Anti-aging. 🦋 Lifting. 🦋 Moisturizing. 🦋 Skin Firming. 🦋 Anti-wrinkle. I do love a multipurpose product, but not sure I like everything about this body cream. Some of the ingredients are; Jojoba, coconut 🌴 palms, and macadamia. I love all of these ingredients, but I’m not too thrilled with the scent. 😐. 🦋 This body cream is meant to last long, with a powerful effect. It does absorb quickly and did seem to stay moisturized through until the following day. It’s great that it penetrates to the deeper layers of the skin. The scent is a “signature” scent, which was crafted at a perfumery, but as I said, it’s not a scent for me! I’m trying to figure out what it reminds me of. 🧐🤔. I’d recommend because of the long-lasting moisture effects, and it keeps my skin soft without being greasy. But if your sensitive to fragrance, don’t try it.
