I've tried botanicsens products for body & like it. So excited to try this Botanicsens Decanal Cleansing Lotion for face. Got a chance to try this at a trial fee for review purpose, thanks to @08l_usa & @botanicsens. Like the body oil & cream, it has the strong 'decanal' 'functional fragrance' which according to botanicsens quickly penetrates the skin to the collagen-creating dermis layer, because of its low molecular mass compound. It also encourages collagen production to effectively firm the skin. The directions is similar to cleansing oil and balm, use on dry skin & wash off to emulsify & cleanse. The texture is just like lotion & it emulsify well with water when being washed off. It made my skin felt soft but at the same time also left some kind of thin oil film that's quite disturbing, though could be removed with toner application. Description: Decanal is a fragrance ingredient mainly contained in dill, grapefruit, and mandarin orange. It is similar to the skin of citrus fruits. I Have Tried the Botanicsense Decanal Cleansing Lotion.Thanks to @0.8L and @BotanicsensDecanal for a small trial fee in exchange for my honest opinion honestly I must say I tried this one time, the odor was so strong and medicine like, to me, that I could not try a second time and honestly it made me sick to my stomach and I could not get it off soon enough. I hate to report this but it is my honest opinion I I cannot tell what it would do as a cleansing lotion because the older is not pleasant Jimmy and all.

The Botanicsens Decanal Cleansing lotion is a cream textured cleanser. It has a fluffy type texture. It removed all of my makeup, making my face feel clean. That only thing I did not like about it was the smell. It was not that strong, I am just sensitive to scents.

🍋🍋The scent of lemons is one of the first things that you notice upon opening the tube ... it really smells so good ! The second thing that is noticeable is the texture and how thick the consistency is. A little totally goes a long way.

Review time! ⭐ I have been using the Botanicsens Cleansing 🌱 lotion over the past week & am still in the fence about this one. This cleanser is super thick almost like a lotion, and it's put on dry skin. It's very effective at taking off heavy makeup & mascara but has a very strong soapy smell to me which is a bit of a turn off. it does have natural ingredients however such as dill and, grapefruit - but I'm just not getting that scent. Overall it does a good job cleansing and leaves my skin soft, but the scent bugs me. 🤔

Recently I recieved Botanicsens Decanal Cleansing Lotion from @0.8l_usa. I've been needing a new cleanser so I was excited when I saw this being offered. When I first got this and tried it I was put off from the smell. It's a very strong scent that reminded me of citrus and pine and it lingered on my skin. This made it really difficult for me to handle. Usually I don't have an issue with scents, but this one is too much. Although this is true, after doing some research I've decided I need to give it another try. I found a page that had information regarding the scent. It states that the scent comes naturally from the aroma components and the skin really needs them. These components will not irritate the skin, but will help improve the skin's natural functions. They are shown scientifically to promote healthy skin, reduce stress, and firm skin. Now that I have read this article I want to give the cleanser another chance. If it significantly improves my skin, then I can force myself to deal with the scent. Unfortunately, I didn't read the article sooner so I've only used it a couple times. If I base my opinion on the first couple uses it's definitely negative, but I feel I need to give it another chance. Without considering the scent I liked the way my skin felt after using it. It left my skin feeling very soft and clean. Since I liked the way it cleaned my face I'm going to try using this again for a longer period. I'm hoping that as time goes by I become less sensitive to the scent so that I can redo this review. If all works as hoped I'll update my review soon. All though I haven't liked this so far, I am still thankful that @0.8l_usa and @BotanicSens_official @BotanicSens_Korea let me try this product. This is a step 1 cleanser and I do enjoy it but it's not my favorite. We'll start off with how well it works, its very gentle but not very effective at removing makeup. My face never feels stripped or irritated after use and I haven't broken out like I did from a different cleanser. It has a strong sweet citrus scent, reminds me of lemon lime soda. Overall I'll finish this bottle but I enjoy my other step 1 cleansers over this one in all honesty.

This is a twist on the idea of cleansing oil, but instead of being an oil, this is in lotion form. It does a good job of cleansing the face of makeup, although you have to work a little harder to remove long wear lipstick and waterproof mascara. This product has a very strong herbal scent. For people sensitive to smells this cleansing lotion would likely cause some issues. The scent does fade after a short time and becomes a soft floral scent. My skin felt really soft rafter cleansing with this, but I did notice a very slight oily feel to my skin. After a second cleanse this oily feel was gone. Overall, the product is very gentle despite having a strong scent. It would probably be ideal for those with very dry skin that are not overly sensitive to smells.

It’s my first time trying a cleansing lotion and so happy to get to try I love how good it works and how make you feel skin so hydrated and feel good all day and night i love the smell it’s little strong but it’s good orange kinda smell I really recommend its really easy to use

I picked up the Botanicsens Decanal Cleansing Lotion from @08liter recently. Based on the ingredients I was initially very excited to try it. This cleanser is totally sulfate free with a boatload of botanicals packed in. However upon working it into a lather I found it to be way too pungent for my bitch-ass face. So instead I've been using it to wash my hands here and there. I can tell you the consistency of this cleanser is very nice, it is rich and creamy and honestly I wish it were less fragranced. It smells strongly of freesia, which is one of my least favorite florals, and it has staying power. I could smell this on my hands an hour after washing them. I cant' really reccomend something this heavily fragranced, but if you don't mind that sort of thing and have bulletproof skin you'll probably quite like this.

This #Botanicsens Decanal Cleansing Lotion is a VERY nice moisturizing face wash. My face stays hydrated and feels really clean for sometime after washing with it. It contains various plant extracts and has a very strong scent. The face wash is white in color. It is not too thick and does not feel greasy or leave a thick oily residue on my skin. It rinses off well and leaves my face soft and smooth. I have noticed no irritation at all. ❤️The Botanicsens Decanal Cleansing Lotion hydrates skin well and removes dirt gently . ❤️This cleanser has worked better than other ones I have used in the past because of it's plant based, hydrating properties. ❤️I use the lotion every other day because of how hydrating it is and my skin is prone to oil and over hydration. ❤️It leaves my skin soft and fresh without dryness or irritation that other cleansers such as drug store ones have caused. 💔I really do appreciate this cleanser however I am very sensitive to scents and the scent of this cleansing lotion nauseates me and I have to hold my breath while using it to avoid smelling it.

If you are into double cleansing, the Botanicsens Decanal Cleansing Lotion is for you! I applied it to my face without water and it took all of my makeup off. It does leave a greasy residue so I use my normal facial cleanser after. I typically use some type of oil first but this lotion was less messy. I would describe the scent between grapefruit and orange but not overwhelming. I believe this retails for about $15 on Amazon. I've been interested in a cleansing lotion for a while now. I wasn't having a lot of luck with the usual cleansers, waters, and balms so when I saw the Botanicsens Decanal Cleansing Lotion I entered the 'try free' campaign and after not making the cut for that and also after a lot of thinking I decided to spend $3.99 and give it a try. Packaging design is very nice and I loved the fact that the tube came sealed. If you're wondering what 'decanal' means here's and explaination from their Amazon store: "Decanal aroma compound is mainly found in dill, grapefruit, and bitter oranges." This compound is supposed to reach the collagen creating dermis layer of the skin and helps encourage the body to synthesize collagen, which is supposed to make your skin feel firmer. When I first opened the seal on the tube to try it out I was hit with the strong smell which made me uncomfortable since my skin doesn't like added parfum/fragrance. (At first the smell reminded me a bit of a citronella candle) So I tried to get past the smell and see what the product was like. The lotion is really creamy and feels good on the skin and doesn't dry up or become sticky. I liked massaging/cleaning my skin by spreading the lotion over my face and then massaging in small circular motions all over until it looked like a lotion was absorbed. I would then wet my hand and dampen my skin and use the massage technique while watching the lotion emulsify. Once you get to this point or to rinsing it off I definitely reccomend closing your eyes because this stuff can burn and irritate them. Once I rinsed my face off, I noticed how comfortable and moisturized my skin felt. I also noticed how clean and free of dead skin my face felt. The best thing was being able to layer my toner without feeling like my skin is just sucking my toner in and not having much of a affect. It was really nice, I didn't have to hurry through layering process and could take my time and skin would still feel moisturized and I could feel my layers absorbing into my skin without any dryness. At the end of my routine my skin comfortable and I could actually tell that I had used all my products and in the morning the skin around my cheek didn't feel tight or dry. I was quite surprised at how well my skin has taken to this cleanser give how sensitive and dry it is, but so far I'm pleased with the results. Would I purchase it again: yes. The Decanal Cleansing Lotion is designed as a refreshing and soft cream type cleansing cream that helps you remove the buildup in your skin. This cleansing lotion contains 150 ml (5.07 oz) and it has a very sharp scent. The top notes are lemon, ginger, and basil. The middle notes are jasmine, rose, and mugwort. The bottom notes are musk and amber. The lotion comes in a squeeze tube and dispenses easily. The lotion is just as it states, it’s a loose white lotion. It does take some effort to remove the liquid lipsticks. For regular makeup, it works much faster. The lotion leaves a slightly oily residue. It removed about 85% of the makeup and it left my skin moisturized and it was not irritating. Recommended use is with dry hands, apply the proper amount of cleansing lotion to your face and gently massage to cleanse. Then wash off with warm water. After using, this cream is definitely not ideal for sensitive skin due to its strong fragrance. Definitely avoid if you have any problems with fragrance or just have sensitive skin. The scent is unique as it’s sharp and also citrusy keeping it from being sweet. But it’s not unpleasant and the texture of the lotion is very nice. It’s very loose and feels cooling on the skin, it’s pleasant to apply this over makeup and massaging it in. It’s very soothing and it removes most makeup well, it does have some issues with very strong makeup like liquid lipsticks or possibly super pigmented eye shadow. I do think it best to use a cleansing water or another gentle cleanser after this one if you’re wearing a full face. I’d recommend this to anyone who wants a soothing way to remove makeup from your face and eyes. What I like: this lotion is very gentle and soothing and it has unique ingredients. It feels cooling and does a good job of breaking down makeup, it removes basic makeup pretty well and that’s nice if you don’t wear a lot of makeup. It’s hydrating and has a really nice texture and it rinses off leaving a very moisturized finish. What I don’t like: this cleansing cream has a very strong scent and this is not suitable for sensitive skin. Rating: 7/10

Fragrance is listed as a last ingredient, but most of its fragrance comes from its botanical oils. Directions: Apply to dry skin and massage. Rinse with warm water and pat dry. My thoughts: I really like this cleanser. It leaves my skin completely clean without feeling stripped. This does have a rather strong citrus scent, which is pleasant, but might be bothersome to those sensitive to scent.
