I was a bit hesitant to use this product, especially it being a whitening cream. I do have this dark scar on my leg that has been bothering. I’ve been using the ointment cream on this one area and I have noticed a bit of change of color on it.

I received this Sunroi Idebenone Ointment Cream for a small trial fee of 3.99 in exchange for my honest opinion. This was the 4th product from this brand that I have had the pleasure of trying and once again I was not disappointed with the product nor my results from the product. This particular product actually turned out to be my favorite out of all the others I have tried so far. The smell is absolutely amazing, in my opinion. It smells very clean and leaves your skin with a fresh & clean feeling while hydrating it perfectly!! I do highly recommend this product for others to try!!!!

Idebenone is a synthetic antioxidant similar to coenzyme Q10. While it's not the best antioxidant out there, it's still a good one. Sunroi is a bio-medical science company that also produce some beauty products. I run the ingredients analysis on Skincarisma and it's mostly low hazard & no harmful chemicals. The cream is thick, but easy to spread and absorbs well. There's a mild scent which I'm not sure what, but smells like 'common lotion'. It moisturize well & layers just fine. I don't recall what this product has fully claimed but I do remember it had something to do with moisturizing without making you greasy, which it does provide that for me. I like the scent of this product, reminds me of shea butter lotions but doesn't linger for long. I've had 4 products from this brand and they all seem to spread nicely and absorb quickly without leaving any heaviness behind.

I wanted to try the Sunroi Idebenone Ointment Cream because I have a couple of dark spots and I had heard idebenone worked for this particular problem. Idebenone has antioxidant properties, but I was surprised to hear it was initially used to treat Alzheimer’s disease or muscular dystrophy! I think I was able to achieve a slight lightening of my dark spots, as evidenced by slight peeling around them. The cream is also moisturizing and absorbs easily. I like it in my nighttime routine. My review: The “cream” really is more on the ointment side, which I think is fine considering that “ointment” is in the name of the product. I wish that there was more information in English for me so I could understand more about the product and how to use it. This is the 2nd or 3rd product I’ve tried from this company. This is definitely the favorite one I’ve tried though. It sinks into the skin nicely, and gives me good moisturization. It doesn’t leave my skin feeling oily, which I really appreciate. Hi friends!! This review is all about another great Sunroi formulation: the Idebenone Ointment. This comes in a 30g tube that retails on 08L for $29.99. It's closely related to CoQ10 in structure, only more water soluable. It was formulated for skin whitening and wrinkle improvement. Idebenone is a type of antioxidant that binds to free radicals (which can damage skin cells and can even promote skin cancer), inhibiting their potency and the damage they would otherwise cause. UV rays contain free radicals that destroy skin cells from the inside out, and damage both elastin and collagen, which in turn, causes skin to sag and wrinkle. The healthier skin is, the more collagen it produces, which helps it look firmer. Idebenone may also be beneficial in reducing inflammatory responses in the skin, as well as redness and swelling. Some of the other active ingredients are Niacinamide, Sodium Hyaluronate, Allantoin, Adenosine, Hyaluronic Acid, Arginine, and five different types of polypeptides. The most beneficial way to use any Idebenone cream or ointment is to first wash your face, then open your pores with a 15 minute facial steam, either using a facial steamer, or boiling water on the stove and draping a towel over yourself to lock in the steam. Then PAT your face dry (never rub, it causes microscopic tears and skin irritation). Apply the Idebenone ointment directly to problem areas and work outward, using fingertips. I have really enjoyed the creams I have gotten to try from this brand. I think they are highly nourishing, hydrating and good for all types of skin, especially sensitive skin. However, I should have checked this particular cream before I got it. It unfortunately has a fragrance! 😫 I have become more and more sensitive to fragrance and just can't handle them in facial products. I wanted to love this but was only able to use 2 times as I couldn't stand the scent.

I have been using this as my day time moisturizer because it is very lightweight on my skin. I honestly haven’t been using it long enough to notice if any of my sunspots are lighter.
