I received the Mother Made Exfoliating Aqua peeling Gel from 0.8L for trial fee of 3.99 in exchange for an honest review. You get 100 ml of product and it retails for about 20$. As per the manufacturer, this is a mild peeling gel that gently exfolliates the skin with a power house of great ingredients. Ingredients featured in this product include green tea water , Vitamin C , willowbark , papaya and apple extracts. All of these combined , produce the actions of that of a chemical peel ( sloughing away dead skin cells and impurities) . In the end , your face will appear more radiant and youthful. Now it’s time to put the product to the test . I absolutely adored the refreshing scent of the product. I moistened my face with a damp sponge and I applied the peeling gel with a spatula. I let it sit on my face for about a minute . Then I proceeded to work the product in upwards circular motions. You can see all the dead skin sloughing off. When I was done, I used a damp cloth and removed the product. I was like WOAH , my face was so bright and clean afterwards. This product delivered on all counts . I did not experience any burning or irritation from it . I loved it and I’m glad to have it my collection

After I washed and toned my face I poured a small amount in my hand and started massaging in circles, what I saw was amazing yet really gross, seeing all the dead skin rubbing off! I love the look and feeling of my skin after using and don’t think I’ll ever go back to exfoliating scrubs again!

Today I'm reviewing another Mother Made product, the Exfoliating Aqua Peel Gel. This comes in a 100ml tube that retails for approx. $20. This is a mild, but highly effective exfoliating treatment that they recommend using 1-3 times per week depending on sensitivity. It's infused with vitamins and botanical extracts like camellia sinesis leaf (green tea) water (10,000PPM), apple extract, willow bark extract, lavender oil, papaya extract, bergamot extract, and other powerhouse ingredients such as sodium hyaluronate, arginine, allantoin, & trehalose. Formulated with both physical and chemical exfoliating agents, this Aqua Peel Gel deeply cleanses the skin, while the natural moisture-rich cellulose works add a physical peel, buffing away dead skin & impurities. I’d been wanting to try peeling gel for some time and it was just perfect that I got this as a TRY NOW for FREE from @0.8l_korea. 💗 I wanted to post a review right after the first time cause it IS that GOOD. It softens my skin instantly. And I can feel it hydrates my dry skin at the same time. It really helps me tackle my problem with skin dryness. I especially use it on my chin most often. For some reason I get tiny whiteheads on chin and I can prevent those by frequently using a scrub or a peel. This peel also has Vitamin C which helps brighten skin. My mature skin loves that. My face also loves the light chemical people you get the next day. This product is definitely a winner! Peel Gel is a mild exfoliating treatment formulated with both physical AND chemical exfoliants. They opted for natural cellulose, not carbomer, as our physical peeling agent. There were several reasons for that, but that’s a subject for another post. Finely milled, moisture-rich cellulose particles we used in the formula are imported from France and made from Egyptian cotton (so fancy!). The way it works is simple – bits of cellulose interact with natural oils on your skin and ball up once you apply some pressure. These balls/clumps/flakes (take your pick) act as a very gentle scrub that sloughs off dead cells sitting on top of the epidermis ready to go but in way that won’t traumatize your skin. For the chemical peeling agents, we chose nature-derived extracts that are well-known to be potent but at the same gentle and sensitive skin-friendly. Willow Bark Extract. Naturally rich in salicylic acid, this mild astringent helps to reduce inflammation, control sebum, unclog pores, and de-congest skin. No wonder, it’s a favorite among oily skin types. While this peeling gel does not target at clearing pores specifically, with consistent use, you might notice that your pores become cleaner and pesky blackheads go away naturally. Papaya Extract. Yummy papaya is chock full of an enzyme called papain that is a perfect exfoliant for sensitive skin. Gentle than your regular AHAs, it will work on the outer layer breaking down excess keratin to help the skin appear brighter and smoother. Apple Extract. Like papaya, apple extract is rich in antioxidants (Vitamin C is one of them), and it is also a natural source of AHA. This extract has astringent properties and can help minimize the appearance of enlarged pores, clear acne, and regulate oil production. Other additional skincare benefits As the name suggests, it has added Green Tea Extract that is well researched and documented anti-aging skin benefits. Any skin type can reap multiple benefits from using this peel gel. Drier skin types will love how hydrating this product feels on the skin. Alas, if you hate the feeling of scrub in any way or form, this might not be for use. How to use If you’re familiar with Korean peel gels, you might know that most of them require dry skin as a starting canvas. Otherwise, they won’t clump. With this peeling gel, it is recommend applying it on damp skin. How damp? Well, it depends. Cellulose bits will clump more or less depending on how dry or damp your skin is. If you want the stronger scrub effect, dampen the face only slighly. If your skin is sensitized, introduce more water to make everything extra mild and smooth. You can even make a paste and leave it for several minutes to let chemical peels time to interact with your skin. The general recommendation is to use it 1-3 times a week, but always check in with your skin. If your skin is super sensitive and dry, using the Peel Gel once a week will suffice. But you feel extra congested and bumpy, increase the frequency. The bottom line is – whatever you do, make sure not to over-exfoliate. Too much of a good thing can quickly turn into a bad thing, right?

[마더메이드] 엑스폴리에이팅 아쿠아 필링 요 근래 들어서 필링이 필요하다고 생각하고 있었는데, 이 제품을 써보게 되어서 다행이다 싶었다. 우선은 여느 필링제와 비슷한 느낌이나 좀 더 순하고, 그리고 좀 더 때처럼 뭉쳐 나오는 것들이 많다라는 느낌이 들었다. 풀잎향 처럼 은은한 향이 나서 인위적이지 않게 느껴지는 부분도 마음에 든다. 필링 이후의 피부가 뽀송뽀송한 느낌이 들고 화장이 잘 먹어서 굿굿!

The Mother Made Exfoliating Aqua Peel Gel is a gentle exfoliating treatment is a mild chemical peeling gel that, when applied to the skin, rubs into exfoliating beads so that you can also have some physical exfoliant benefits. The base is a moisture-rich natural cellulose willow bark, and green tea mix, along with fruit-based peeling agents like papaya and apple. Trehalose and bergamot Vitamin C extract help to brighten the skin. The end result should be smooth skin and a radiant complexion. I chose a bad skin day to test this product 's effectiveness. My skin was oily, lumpy, burnt from multiple days of beach sun exposure, and just all-around bad. Literally, cleansing my face for 2 minutes straight did not make my skin look any better today. So I used the peeling gel twice in a row to give myself a really good scrub, and immediately my face felt smooth and looked so much brighter. My skin did not feel dry afterwards, the gel was actually effective at exfoliating my skin while being gentle at the same time, it soaked up any excess oil, and my lumpy and textured areas were immediately smoothed out. 😌 New face! The gel has the most mild lemon scent I've ever smelled, and that makes me so happy because I hate lemon-scented products. The formula is not irritating whatsoever, and it is definitely safe for sensitive skin. I will be adding this to my rotation for sure! I'm super pleased with this non-greasy, natural, and effective formula! Thanks to @mothermade_global and @0.8l_usa for this discounted trial. This just might replace my Primera and Secret Key scrubs.
