Hello fellow 08l, it's time for another review. Today I'm reviewing Mother Made Exfoliating Aqua Peel Gel w Green Tea. This is a very gentle exfoliating gel, that leaves your skin feeling silky soft & oh so smooth! This is not just a physical exfoliator, it's a chemical exfoliating treatment also, that relies on a powerful tandem of natural cellulose and botanical extracts to gently polish the skin, making your skin smoother & brighter to the surface. This extremely gentle exfoliator, not only gently buffs away dead skin cells, it hydrates, brightens, calms & sooths the skin, as well. The cellulose acts as the physical exfoliant while the papaya fruit extract acts as the "chemical" exfoliant. The hyaluronic acid , along w Trehalose help skin to retain moisture & protects skin against dryness. This has an array of great ingredients, like vitamin C, willow bark, papaya extract, & green tea extract. The green tea extract, helps sooth the skin, along w Allantoin,which help to make the skin super soft! So if you have sensitive skin, this product will most likely work well. Directions: Apply the desired amount to clean, damp skin avoiding eye & lip area. Massage in circular motion Rinse w warm water Use 1-3 times a week My thoughts: I was super excited to try this! I've only read about this type of peeling cleanser & I really liked it! It wasn't harsh at all & my skin felt squeaky clean afterwards. It has a gel like, liquidity consistency & starts gelling up immediately. I then used circular motion, until I was all done, then I rinsed it off & my skin felt really good! I've been using it 2 times a week & my skin has responded very well. No breakouts or anything like that. It doesnt have much smell, bt when you start rubbing your face & the bubbles start bubbling, there is a faint, bt a very good smell, like a light floral scent. This will stay as a part of my skincare routine.

I was excited to try my complimentary 2-in-1 mild exfoliating treatment with clarifying Green Tea Leaf Water for visibly brighter, smoother, radiant skin. You can find yours on Amazon for around $15. Much to my disbelief this product worked amazingly. It  is a gentle physical peel with moisture-rich natural cellulose. As soon as I applied the white lotion it almost immediately turned into a grainy texture that seemed to gather the dead skin cells effortlessly. This chemical peel with AHA/ BHA-rich botanical extracts penetrates deeper into the skin for enhanced exfoliation that you can feel. It’s as effective as traditional scrubs, but it doesn’t irritate the skin. I have oily skin and it really seemed to help with it. I’m excited to see the long term results from this heaven sent exfoliating treatment.

I'm a big fan of facial peels because they just make you feel so refreshed, and they can work like magic on your skin.  About the Mother Made Aqua Peel Gel w/Green Tea: Key Ingredients: ~ Natural Cellulose: buffs away dead skin cells & impurities ~ Fruit & Botanical Extracts: Papaya, Apple & Willow Bark act as a chemical peel to up the exfoliation process ~ Green Tea Water: clarifies ~ Vitamin C: brightens Goal: correct dull, uneven skin tone, and remove contaminants which congest the skin. Thoughts: This was a fantastic peel gentle enough for any skin type, yet is an exfoliation  powerhouse. My skin looked and felt better, and was much smoother.  I love when I apply and begin working it, I see the lumps start to form.  Be gone dead skin! There really isn't a scent to it that I could discern, and it was very easy to wash off. Overall, I really liked yet another product by Mother Made.

After cleansing I applied the Gel to my damp skin using circular motions with my fingers. The Gel contained exfoliating particles and had a light fresh scent. As you can probably tell by now, I’m a big fan of peeling gels, and the @mothermade_global Exfoliating Peel Gel with Green Tea is no exception! This peeling gel has natural Cellulose to gently exfoliate the skin, along with Vitamin C and Willow Bark, Green Tea, and Papaya extracts (among others). I think that’s a great group of ingredients! Vitamin C helps to brighten the complexion, Willow Bark contains Salicylic Acid to help exfoliate, Green Tea is calming and soothing, and Papaya is great at removing dead skin without being irritating.  After using this, my skin feels very soft. The gel also smells really nice (it has an almost citrusy scent, which I’m guessing is from the Bergamot fruit extract in it, which helps soothe irritated skin). It’s effective yet gentle, and is a winner in my book!  Do you use peeling gels? The [MOTHER MADE] Exfoliating Aqua Peel Gel w Green Tea left my skin feel great. It did not irritate my face at all and it left my face feeling soft and nice. It has a moisture rich natural cellulose that works as a physical peel on the skims surface to buff away any dead skin cells and impurities. There are a cocktail of fruits and botanical extracts like Papayas, Apples and Willow bark that works as a chemical peel to penetrate deeper into the skin and amplify the exfoliation process. The directions to use it are to apply the desired amount to clean, damp skin avoiding the eye and lip area. Massage gently in circular motions with fingers. And rinse thoroughly with water. Hi! Today I have another @mothermade_global product! I love Mother Made because it's #crueltyfree! 😻 @0.8l_usa came out with two cellulose peeling gels at the same time, so it's a great opportunity to compare the two. I love peeling gels because they are gentle ways to get the crummy skin buildup off of my nose and around my eyebrows that can make my makeup application a nightmare. This particular peeling gel has both chemical and physical exfoliation! As with many peeling gels, cellulose is the physical exfoliant. It's a mild exfoliant that's difficult to over-use - basically it's not St. Ives. When in use, it's easy to believe the white substance that's pilling on the skin is dead skin that's been exfoliated, but it's just the cellulose. The chemical exfoliants listed are willow bark extract (salicylic acid) and papaya fruit extract (AHA). Other notable ingredients are Vitamin C and green tea extract (antioxidant). This exfoliating peel has little scent; I don't believe there's any added fragrance. It takes about a nickel of product for the whole face. I found the peel to be incredibly mild and cleansing. Of the two, MOTHER MADE and Benton, this is my favorite. This peeling gel retails for about $19 for 100ml (3.3 oz), which I find is a bit steep. Perhaps also because I'm a cheapskate. I do recommend this product if you're willing to pay for it, but it's too expensive for me at retail price, which makes me sad. I love being able to do maintenance in between acid treatments during the week. This is a very gentle formula that is effective yet safe to use quite frequently. This product has a lovely, fresh citrusy scent which is one of my favorite scents in all things. The texture is similar to other peeling gels but I found it a bit thinner and easier to work with. I love the cooling effect when first applied. It leaves my skin smooth, bright and refreshed. I also found that it helped lessen the severity of my typical monthly breakout. MOTHER MADE Exfoliating Aqua Peel Gel with Green Tea is an extremely unique and powerful skincare gel. It comes out as a cream and then peels and exfoliates leaving nothing behind but clean and clear skin. Simple and affordable. I've been using this peel daily for two weeks, followed with a gel moisturizer, and I have noticed a definitive improvement in the texture of my skin in dry regions, as well as an improvement in the severity of pre-existing acne. I love that it is gentle enough for daily use, although the texture of a gritty gel immediately pilling up took a bit of getting used to compared to other exfoliators and peel products I have used. It feels like the green tea added helps to soothe the skin after the peeling effects exfoliate teh surface and it came at just the right time when my skin's texture was bothering me daily under my foundation. I will definitely continue to use the MOTHER MADE Exfoliating Aqua Peel in my routine and looking into more MOTHER MADE products to add to my daily routine! @mothermade_global exfoliting aqua peel gel --- Purchased through @0.8l_usa for $3.99 to test and try. --- An interesting peeling gel that contains cellouse to act as an physical exfoliate while also containing chemical exfoliate like papaya, Apple and willow bark. I've tried a lot of peeling gela and usually prefer this to just aha/bha toner/treatments alone. I'm excited to test this a few more times before giving a an review on it. So far it looks promising. Only thing there is lavender and bergamot which someone can react too. I personally feel lavender can be a fit or miss for me. I will update. ---

I’ll have screenshots available of the ingredients for you all to check out. First off, this product smells so amazing. A really clean and fresh green tea scent that isn’t overpowering at all. This has a soft, gritty texture, & doesn’t have a bunch of cellulose in it. After cleansing my face & patting it dry I applied this. After some time passed of me rubbing the product, it started to ball up, & turned a bit of a greige color. Evidence that it is getting all those dead skin cells, & left over product off your face. Peeling gels can be pretty messy to use, so obviously use it over the sink. Once I felt like my skin was fully exfoliated, I rinsed the product off. My skin looked so clear, bright, & felt so soft and silky. Out of all the peeling gel’s I’ve used, this is probably my absolute favorite! This stuff is gentle and effective! My pores haven’t felt this clean in ages! I’m really looking forward to seeing what the long term results are! I will be buying this one again for sure!
